This might have been already answered in the thread but when will the tokens be tradeable?
We'd like to get listed on an exchange as soon as possible after our sale. We're in discussions with the exchanges now, and should be in a good spot once our sale completes.
The referrer address for that link is 0x54daebc3ec3a693f876f90f52d11d3fd65c47498
There were a handful created after you, but you were one of the first, hence the low ID.
OK, thanks so much! I'm convinced.
I want to confirm to anyone following this, that the referrer address is indeed correct.
Good luck with the ICO. You have a working product, and you're solving a real problem. I like the bootstrapping aspect of it... activating the product to assist in the ICO itself.
Thanks for the kind words, Oleander. We're definitely a lot more bootstrappy than most of the other ICOs. We really hope that sets us apart

Re: [ANN] [ICO] Foreground -- Affiliate Marketing and Advertising On the Blockchain
Hey m3ta, thanks for the comment. The best place to go is the DApp itself Smiley --> www.app.foreground.io
I tried this, and got an affiliate link with FPID=1 (the demo video had FPID=2). Somehow I don't think I got a unique link tied to my Ethereum address.
Hi Oleander,
The link you received is definitely unique to your Ethereum address (the one that you used to send the 0 ether transaction). The FPID is an indicator of which promotion the link is tied to. If you look closely, I'm using the ropsten test network for the video, so there is no realtionship between the IDs in the video and the IDs that you'll receive using the mainnet application.

Thanks for the post, NokasKili. We're excited about the upcoming ICO.
Hi guys, Are you focused primarily on advertisers or on the final consumer? Why do I ask, because now there are many projects that declare the idea of changing the market for advertising and marketing - excluding advertising agencies as a layer. And the transition to direct interaction with the consumer, thanks to the blockchain.
Hi Crypto_Enthusiast,
Our platform is designed to make it easier for advertisers and publishers/affiliates to connect with one another through a blockchain powered interface that provides a lot more transparency for both parties so that they can more easily tell if their spend/efforts are actually efficient/legitimate. At scale, this interface is also a lot cheaper than going through a traditional affiliate network. We hope that the efficiencies we can introduce will provide a much better experience for the final consumer because it will reduce fraud, spam, and other side effects of traditional opaque networks.
How does Foreground compare to all the other startups that are doing the same thing? I've seen a few other companies with this same concept and I'm curious to know what sets you apart from the rest?
Hi maximillion09,
We think we have a lot of differentiators:
1. We feel we have a very strong go-to-market strategy that seems to resonate with people 2. We have a much smaller hard cap than our competitors in the space, as well as a different token structure. 3. We already have a simple beta running, and we have the core of our application audited and deployed. Timeline wise, this puts us well ahead of most of our competition.
