Re: 51btc won in a day

Primedice user (Marcelod4) won in a day 51BTC  and convert to 51BTC to $178,700 <-- awesome wining .

Congratulation Marcelod4

Posts like this is what makes me question my life a lot of times,  lol. I always ask myself why I have never made such a huge win, all I'm getting is just a little money (pennies) and it's starting to piss me off sometimes. Another question that I do have in mind is how much this user has lost since he started gambling before arriving at this win.

There are people who can have serious patience, even as they lose they keep on playing and having patience that they are going to win some day. But that will have to be if you have enough, cause if you don't have enough money,  then if you run out money it is over for you.

Re: Jobs Created by the Blockchain & Bitcoin
by

on 31/05/2019, 11:10:41 UTC
That must be a high paying job as majority of the schools are not adding crypto yet in their curriculum.
These people who have the knowledge and skills are probably just self educating themselves, I hope this industry will create more jobs.

My job in the crypto space is just to be a trader since I don't have that skills that would fit on the jobs mentioned above, mine is riskier and I could loss but I have to embrace it since that's my way of making money.

It might not be indirectly called cryptocurrency in those curriculum but we have some institutions that are already lecturing on blockchian technology which already covers anything that has to do with cryptocurrency, for you to know how lucrative jobs created through cryptocurrency is, have you ever asked how much they pay these developers to develop the blockchian for that particular project?

I have a friend that told me recently that very soon, he is going for blockchian technology curse in  one of these great educational institution very soon, so that he will be able to create blockchian for industries that needs it and also create their cryptocurrency.

Re: Will BNB overtake ETH? POLL
by
richmcrich
on 30/05/2019, 12:47:41 UTC
Ethereum is a more familiar and popular platform. Of course, it has its drawbacks, but it provides great opportunities for creating coins. It seems to me that it will continue to be popular.
I agree with you that Ethereum will always be popular because ETH does not need to doubt its quality so people will continue to support it, especially ETH is a very good coin for long-term investment so people will not easily sell it cheaply.

so in my opinion the potential of the BNB to beat ETH is very small.

You have a point in your opinion and I agree with that even Binance coin is being popular in the market its hard to bet the second largest cryptocurrency the ethereum network since most peopls cpntinue patronizing their platform take note even ripple cannot stay to long tobe second biggest altcoin in the market but the good thing that I see in BNB its grow faster and be the leading exchange site in the market.
Binance is already the leading exchange but binance and the community are presently looking beyond that to probably being the second largest coin in the market. You might think it will be impossible, but first of all look at where binance has been coming from to top all the exchanges we have in the market with a single project.

Ethereum was basically the second coin because nobody was bold enough to compete with the only product they are able to produce, which is the ethereum chain, but now we already have binance chain. One more reason why ethereum might be losing it is that we no longer have ico projects successfully being built on their smart contract because of lack of investor’s interest, but look at the new IEO, majority of them will be built more on Binance chain.

Re: Facebook plans to launch 'GlobalCoin' currency in 2020
by
richmcrich
on 30/05/2019, 12:17:48 UTC
Facebook is finalising plans to launch its own crypto-currency next year.

It is planning to set up a digital payments system in about a dozen countries by the first quarter of 2020

https://www.bbc.com/news/business-48383460

Sounds old, but this might be true this time.
Facebook has offices virtually in most parts of the world where they are operating and we know that Facebook platform is a platform used globally, so if Facebook is creating a coin, it will surely be used by its users in different part of the world, but that doesn’t mean it will be a global currency as people claim it will be.

Whatever coin Facebook is going to create will be a stable coin to be used by its business members because I don’t see how useful it will be to an ordinary user since the coin will be a stable coin purposely or their system and not a general utility coin like BTC or ETH.

Re: XRP at $5-10 in 9 to 10 Days: Hype?
by
richmcrich
on 29/05/2019, 12:39:47 UTC

I have some XRP hidden somewhere in my wallet and though they are not much they are symbolizing of my vote of trust and confidence on this cryptocurrency (though some are calling it as the false one and centralized at best) because I am seeing a big potential of this coin especially in tandem of big banks and similar financial platforms. But let me clarify that am also a great supporter of Bitcoin and Ethereum.

There is a great future for XRP. However, just like any other cryptos, there are also hypes about it. There are publications touting that soon XRP can be able to reach as high as $10 and in such a short period of time. Should we believe these hypes or should we as usual take them with an abundance of salt?

Quote
The fact that Ripple XRP could be the next Bitcoin cannot be ruled considering how XRP is being adopted across the globe and how Ripple accepted to follow regulatory procedure to increase the adoption of the digital asset among governments.

In 2017, XRP was the best performing digital asset, it surprisingly rose by 25,000%, netting an all-time high value of $3.84 USD.

Despite the fact that XRP trades around $0.38, those who invested in the digital asset at the launch have a return on investment of 6,425.76%.

I am surprised at this low level of reasoning, how do you even believe that a player would win and not recall the strategy they used in playing. There is a special place for luck in gambling and this is one of the ultimate reason why so many people gamble because they believe its quiet easy to try out their luck. Since the existence of gambling, do you know the number of people that have looked for strategies and systems to improve their chances of winning and yet found out none? Even the so called strategies don’t work

Gambling is basic human nature and I believe in luck because I have also played a game accidentally where I had no skills, no plans and yet I won by luck. I remain grateful for that day.

Re: What kind of poker player are you?
by
richmcrich
on 29/05/2019, 11:49:32 UTC

About that 2 options, i am hit and run player. Because sometime i play and afraid to lose, so when i win or lose, usually i leave the game and maybe take a rest. And then start again in next day.

I feel you bro. I'm more of option #1, too—a hit and run player. I know to myself and honestly admitted that I don't like the feeling of losing. It gives me frustration and regret. So whenever I have that drive to gamble, and whenever I win big, then I prefer to walk out immediately and enjoy what I gained before something change my mind that'll trigger me to bet again and again until I have lost everything.
I am not a good poker player but Poker is not a rocket science as well. If you try to learn how to play poker, with practice, you would be able to achieve the level you want to. In addition, you need to be rational by which I mean relying on your skills and the probability if making something happen. Do not think about Luck coming and saving you. This would be foolish. The richest men in Poker are the guys who worked on their weak ones.
I have a general impression about gambling that one of the hallmarks about this game is its uncertainty. So for such, luck would always be effective, so be it poker or whatever as long as it has the name gambling attached, there would always be people who are dependent on luck and we can’t blame them or tag them for been foolish.

I would never think of devising method to play gambling, and I don’t believe in skill even though I know quiet alright that poker is more of a skill based type of game. This is because of the mindset that gambling is more of a game of entertainment and luck, so I feel there is no necessity for skills in gambling.

Re: Is the bear market over? Important Weekly close!
by

on 28/05/2019, 11:50:26 UTC
Well compared early this year, It is definitely the performance of bitcoin price value in the market was quite good.
so far the price was 7929$ according to the coinmarketcap, so I sense that bear season was now little by little close to
exit and bull run now is happening little by little in the market exchange.

It cannot be called a bull run as the cryptocurrencies do not show great visible signs of a pump. It is a stable slow growth, which is even better. Having it, we know that the chances of the next fall are decreasing.
So because there has been little correction this period, we have all started denying again that it is not bull run when we all were over the internet and singing bull run when the rice was surging from $5k to $8k within 2 months.

Anyway, I still want to believe that we are in the bull trend already, but the full bull is what we are yet to experience, I guess we are all waiting for the type that happened in 2016 that made bitcoin run uptrend fully for a 7 consecutive weeks, I dint see that happening this year, but I know that this semi bull run we have will take us till when we see the bigger bull.

Re: Binance traders are making more money than other traders
by

on 27/05/2019, 13:33:55 UTC
You mean Binance has a Trading volume larger than any other exchange?

Well, according to the top exchange in the market Binance always on top 3 centralized platform according to the coinmarketcap.
Because of a large community they have to its platform exchange, no wonder that majority of their traders who used Binance platform
are always making profit everyday. Even recently, binance faced an issue about 7000BTC that has been stole by the hackers, binance
can still surpassed that circumstances anyway.

Maybe that is true, but we don't know anything about each trader, and maybe not most traders who trade on binance was made a bigger profit. I think in the other exchange, many traders are making a lot of profit too because they can find the right coin to buy and sell. So it is about how we choose the right coins to trade and make the profit.
There is no platform where people don’t make huge profit, provided they have the right trading strategy and the exchange has the speed and volume to make them able to execute their trading as quickly as possible.

I think the op is just trying to bring out the point that trading on binance is lot cheaper than trading on other platform because of so many benefits they give to their traders and also the trading fee that is quite very cheap for most of their users, but in the normal environment, people that makes more profit are people who invest with huge capitals and has the strategy to trade.

Re: What trading strategy do you guys use?
by
richmcrich
on 27/05/2019, 13:03:28 UTC
Hey guys, what kind of trading strategy do you use? and Why? What's the effectivity rate?
As for my strategy I always use the fundamental analysis, the basic one as it always give the result I want. The basic supply and demand law is 90% working all the time. But it doesn't necessary means that my strategy is applicable for everyone, I've tested it at first and find it working so I go with it.I can say strategy and trader must meet halfway for it to work perfectly.
From your explanation, I bet you are not a short term trade (day trader), because the only lace fundamental analysis functions well is when you use it to forecast future price maybe 3 months forecast and not a day forecast.

Most trader you see will tell you that TA id the most used trading strategy for a day trader which has worked for me perfectly well for all my trading both I Forex and crypto trading. People that find TA difficult are people that cannot read chart and if you cannot read chart, then you are not ready to be a shorter trader, which it is advisable you stick with holding where FA becomes useful.

I will only buy some altcoins. And I focused on the top 10 coins of the CMC. Like Ethereum, XRP, BNB, and Stellar Some of these coins I think are pretty good and can generate profit. If many buy a coin I think it will be difficult in monitoring.
Very few quality lifetime projects is better than many low quality shitcoins projects, so I agree with you that I would rather have very few projects than to just be piling up projects that I may eventually not remember except maybe one just wants to focus on ECR20 tokens which one can use a single wallets for.

I have so many coins in some wallets that I can’t even remember their passcode because that is the problem you get from some of these shitcoins that wants you to open their wallet for you to have access to the token, so this year, I don’t play around all these try and error projects again, I stick with the top 10 coins.

Re: Why can't we have a good cryptocurrency exchange?
by
richmcrich
on 24/05/2019, 07:53:08 UTC
Is Binance a bad exchange? It's the most reliable nowadays. I completely understand concern about the recent hack, but it showed the full competence and funds reimburse, so no problem with it. Security is a top issue, but exchanges with reserve funds can afford minor fails.
I wonder, they ask question as if the exchange they are even using as done anything wrong to them. Since the time I have been using Binance I have never for one reason complain because I don’t have any reason to. I have also not tried some exchanges for me to completely conclude that we don’t have good exchanges.

For the fact that I have had a bad experience with an exchange does not give me the guarantee to judge other exchanges same. We still have people like Binance, bittrex and many of them that are trying to make things easy for people in this cryptocurrency market, so we need to learn to always still see the positive aspect of them.

Re: What is the real value of bitcoin and cryptocurrency
by
richmcrich
on 24/05/2019, 07:17:53 UTC
First and foremost since the bitcoin price tend to follow a quite snappy dynamic it is hard to really apprehend its real value. basically market cap is derived from the number of active user on the network multiplied by the bitcoin price. in the end bitcoin market cap always tend to be far above expert' expectation, but does it mean it is overvalued. it is understandable that bitcoin appears like it has availed from the hype it created throughout the internet communities, but i think that the hype is gone now since its creation and guess what bitcoin still follows the same pattern and cycle it used to, hinting that somehow it could benefit from this hype but is not driven by it alone.

Like any market, bitcoin price assess on supply and demand while buyer and seller determine the value. according to a recently read article on investopedia, expert follows the Metcalfe'law to determine the value of a network which suggest to square the number of network user, in that scheme expectation is far below the current market valuation, but where does bitcoin gain its real value?

in fact i think that bitcoin gain it value from itself and its features, this is a relatively unseen technology that suggest new ways to do things, basically it will benefits from continious boost that will allow it to follow a certain pattern and eventually this will stop being called hype.

https://www.investopedia.com/news/bitcoin-overvalued-researchers-say/
The market is still very volatile now and until we really get to a stage where bitcoin becomes a stable coin before we can get the real value of bitcoin out, for now, the only value that I follow is the one that is being displayed on coinmarketcap, but I know that many people have told me that is not the real value.

Whatever the value is in the unseen world, the real one which has been reflecting in most of the transactions I have done on exchanges is the one that we see on coinmarketcap. Until the market become less volatile, that is when we will see the real value of BTC that we have been having at the back of our mind.

Re: Happy accidents
by
richmcrich
on 22/05/2019, 09:20:02 UTC
Based on my experience, i have a very funny accident from playing poker in a crypto casino because i suddenly receive an awful card on my hand then i will really start to fold my card, but because of the slow internet connection i accidentally raised my bet and my opponents started to fold their cards that they thought i have a good card. I am really laughing so hard that time because i won a huge amount of money from a slow internet connection. Right now, I am playing poker again in a crypto casino that you can play hundred casino games like blackjack, poker, baccarat, video slots and many more and it has live bitcoin casino and live dealers that attracts most crypto players.
Well, that's nice, in my long time in the field of gambling the thing you called "happy accident" happened to me only once. I play dice before and I have no enough bankroll that time but in an unexpected incident I won 10 times of what I have bet and I just startled of what happened but unfortunately, for some reason, I wasn't able to withdraw it so I try to find a new bitcoin casino then I ended up in this crypto casino. So far I don't have experience happy accident but I do hope that soon I could able to try it and regarding on withdrawal process I have no issue on that, as a matter of fact, one of the features this casino have is fast withdrawal so it is great.
Well its sad because I've never had any happy accidents but real accidents like losing some of my money because of scam sites which is really upset me, but i'm looking forward having this experience and opportunity especially now that my friend suggested an amazing bitcoin casino. They offer plenty of gaming games and they are generous on giving us free bonuses like free spins. Actually they also has fast withdrawal which is totally its great because you can't have any problem unlike on other online casinos, they never fail my expectation from the gaming games and free bonuses even on the reviews about it since it has a lot of positive reviews and feedbacks from their players. I am really excited about the opportunity that I may encounter because of this bitcoin casino. Can't wait to have a great experience just like on some of you.
I am  very sure he wouldn’t make the mistake to think these would happen again lol, how can anyone make such mistake, I have had an accidental gambling and I know deep down within me that it might never happen again, because gambling is full of uncertainty. Been at the right place has no connection to winning, sometimes we win because we are just destined to win the game at that moment.

I honestly can’t recall what led to my winning and at what position it happened when I first experienced an accidental gambling but I know that I have won before and that day I didn’t expect it and I made a big mistake to play the game on that day but I was truly amazed at the result. That was my last time I had such experience, I have been gambling for fun ever since, sometimes I win and I sometimes loose.

Re: What kind of poker player are you?
by
richmcrich
on 22/05/2019, 08:06:53 UTC
I'm that hit and run guy. When I play I usually fold early most of the time and wait for that one good hand where I can put more money on the line.
When I win I usually give up and take a break until I feel like playing again. It's important to know when to quit and not get too emotional.

This is a good thing that you are a cautious player and do not get carried away behind money easily. Else it would have being that you would have become addicted easily to it and thus may have ended up losing easily if got carried away from it .
Been too deep and carried away is not good, aside addiction, it can even lead gamblers to making too many more loses in gambling, there is nothing as good as having the ability to stay in control of a game not necessarily to run away from the game.

Addition on the other hand does not only happen to those who get carried away with money, I think it is very important for us to correct that notion, anyone can become addicted to gambling, weather those who are in love with the money or those in love with the game as long as we don’t all learn to play with discipline and self-control. I am also the hit and run player.
I think there is something you all are getting wrong about gambling, weather you are a hit and run player or play those who use the money to replay, the most important thing is staying in control of the game and the only way to get this done is to be highly Disciplined. Gambling is not a game for babies, you got to be well matured in thinking and in handling decisions. Like the upper poster has correctly mentioned, addiction is not about those who play for money or not, I have clearly explained how to avoid this shit mentality and that is by staying in control of the game, know when to say know and when to continue with a game.

I am that bad player that would win, make sure I use the money I earn from the last win, to hunt for new games because I aim for more rewards. Isn’t this how gambling should be done?
I always thought it was the maturity in gambling that would make a gambler resolve at the kind of player to become. It even takes more maturity to make this decision because there are times you really want to stay for long in the game and because of how you have built yourself in the game, you decide to play and run, so at this point I need a better understanding of staying on top of the game and control. There’s room to learn more and this is what I do daily.

I am the hit and run player. I know myself that I cannot play for so long and I do not have all the skills that would make me a good player so once I win, I go with my money and have no intention to replay.

Keep your eye on Litecoins they are on the up again They are up over 183% in 2019 so far,  Its gone from $30 up to $61. Smiley
$91 per litecoin right now, Litecoin is been increasing so high on this bull market. I believe the price of litecoin can reach $100 very soon.

If nothing bad happen, then litecoin will continue go up. I hope this market condition can stay like this until the next few months or i hope increase.
I think litecoin has really started its bull run already, it even went as high as $95 on the 20th of May which mean any slight push in the price of bitcoin now, litecoin will definitely enter $100 which I expect that to happen before the end of the month.

Which means that litecoin really has the ability to push up to $200 by the end of the year, although majority of their increase still rest on BTC shoulder, it is usually when BTC increases that these altcoins also increase. Since bitcoin is then their RAM, I think we should pray more for bitcoin community to keep pushing bitcoin up so that some of these altcoins to can get a very big increase.

Guys MATIC is pumping since few days doing more then 7x.

What do you think about this ?
Unfortunately I didn’t get the chance to invest in this coin when I had the chance to, and now, I think it is already too late for now to invest in it. I picked interest in it after I read the concept of their project and I see that this is really a project that will go a long way because of their working product.

I just hope that whales has not picked interest because this pump is quite looking suspicious to me, maybe I will just wait for the coin to dump which I know will happen soon before I make any further effort to invest in it, if the coin can dump before the altcoins bull start fully, then I think I am good to go.

The current market situation is very unpredictable. Nobody can tell what would happen next. In my opinion, when you are dealing with crypto, you have to take some risk to gain high profits.
Honestly at this point, I think we just have to learn to take risk but a reasonable one, because even experts cannot tell exactly what will happen in the crypto market.
The only thing I can guarantee about bitcoin is that no matter the risk we take now, our risk will in bitcoin will be worth it in 2 or 3 years’ time to come, but for other investment in altcoins, one cannot just take risk in them without carefully studying their market and having full assurance that they will survive in future.

I know bull will always manipulate the market, but no matter how much they manipulate, bitcoin too has some genuine factors that has the ability to increase its value in future.

Re: It's time for us to return to being great traders ...!
by
richmcrich
on 21/05/2019, 11:58:38 UTC
A good trader earns not only on the growth of the market, but also on its fall. This is what traders differ from holders, they always earn. If you need a change of trade in order to be a good trader, I have bad news for you.
Good traders try to get the opportunity even if the you are at fallen market but he will try to make money form it using the rule of buying at low price and selling at high, there will be good and bad news at the same time but we will not have to listen bad news but try to make decision by holding if you will keep holding it will give you profit, so buy low and trade higher is the best strategy.

Simply put, efficient traders don't get affected by what's going on in the market. Being more like a robot with their emotions set aside to avoid giving in to panic or over-excitement. Like in the recent decline of btc back to the 7k levels just a day ago. Good traders didn't give in to fomo then and it seems there are a lot of these kinds of traders now as we've gotten back to 8k. People do learn sometimes 😁
Opportunities are here and there, it happens every year. Pro traders have a self-confidence when it is about to catch the trend and trend is a friend of expert traders.FOMO is not bad as it sounds but new traders can't use it properly.
Exactly. The bear market has really been tough and making money in trading in a bear market is not very easy. Now when the market is high, and if your initial cost of investment had been down, you can withdraw with good profits. If you speculate low and HODL, you gain value as well. So the bull market no doubt opens so many opportunities.
Word from a sensible man. You are absolutely right, I see many people complain that trade stopped during the bear market because of the market was less volatile, Is the volatility in bear market still not better than the one found in forex and yet, people are still making so much money in forex on a daily basis irrespective of the market condition.

Any trader that has all the strategies that you mentioned and is well fortified with enough knowledge of trading, and then he will absolutely make it in any situation he founds him or herself in the cryptocurrency trading. I traded a lot during the bear and bull market and both has been very profitable to me.

Seriously we are going uptrend again and that will be the target hit right? Next level target will be $10000.
The market will always experience uptrend movement for the demand are high now but I believe you're too optimistic when assume the next level target will be 10,000 because the market need to build a steady trend in other for the market surge in price or trend to be strong enough or else will should be expecting another market correction.
Small correction happened after 10% increase in the last 24 hours but this time the prices stayed little above the last time's correction level which is also can e a sign that we are going to hit the target in few weeks. But this will be the tough stage for the new people either they have to invest or wait for the more correction on the prices.
There has been correction twice now on the value of $8k and I hope that the next one will be sustain, otherwise, investors might beginning to start panicking and seeing it as whales trap which will force them into all withdrawing temporarily, especially investors that bought around $6k to $6.5k, but if we can retest that value again and break $8.5k, then we are hopeful to leave the $8k trend within the next 2 weeks.

Like you said, I think this failure of bitcoin to quickly retest that value then really made a lot of investors hold back from further investing which it why bitcoin found it quite difficult in moving forward.
