FUD is like a seal of approval in these markets. See you guys at 10k sats in a few months

Another fucking new account LOL. 9/10 people supporting vox on this thread are brand new accounts. Coincidence? Nah.
Edit: Your just jealous of my swagger.

not a new account, i'm just not drawn to the cesspool called BCT for very many reasons. why should anyone contribute to the type of network you're exemplifying?

IMHO STR is unsafe investment. Just read the news from cryptocoinsnews and I sold all my Stellar. https://www.cryptocoinsnews.com/opinion-earth-going-ripple/

Quoted from the article:
Jed McCaleb (Ripple founder) and others in the Ripple Labs had a dispute, so he left to fund a ripple clone called stellar and threatened to sell his 10 billion ripples at a market rate. They are now in a legal battle so that 10 billion has not yet been sold. Moreover, a flaw was found in stellar’s consensus system in 2014, which is similar to ripple’s with stellar’s chief scientist concluding that the stellar system is unlikely to be safe “when operating with “more than one validating node,” [because] when consensus is not reached, a ledger fork occurs with parts of the network disagreeing over accepted transactions.” Ripple’s chief cryptographer concluded that stellar (created by ripple’s founder) had incorrectly implemented the consensus system and that ” there is no threat to the continued operation of the Ripple network.”

And your FUD detector doesn't flare up when you see that? It doesn't look to you like there is some internal dispute and that maybe this would be a biased statement?

Just a thought but if they are converting VOX for equity, there's the liability to the investors? Seems like more hassle and risk than it would be worth for this to be a scam.

16 Million IOC minted and the extra comes from POS interest/staking.

This choice by Poloniex is a blessing in disguise, i will simply stop trading there and remove all my coins, because it is very shady to pull this kind of BS and cause such panic selling and in turn wipe off a big chunk of a coins market cap. I dont trust Poloniex anymore, i wont give them business.
i am in process of doing the same.

ascribing motive is difficult, but judging results is not.
their action has wiped out 10's of millions of $'s from the market caps of the companies they just delisted.
that is too much power for an exchange to wield....likewise when they add a coin...generally adds volumes to market cap of benefitting coin. to much power

situation stinks....and imagine the bigger shitstorm that would ensue if they end up reversing decision. market manipulation on massive scale.

I dont think the motive is difficult. we all know this Crypto game is about making money. How did Polo Profit by the decision to delist ? The way they profited was by being in control. I haven't looked at all the charts of all the coins but the first five i checked all showed two huge pumps in recent time month or so. It makes me believe the decision was made behind the scene and acted upon by them far far in advance of this delist notice. What im saying is they pumped the price sold the coins they wanted to be rid of and then when they were done said ah shucks lets delist these coin. Scammy nasty move. they are probably in need of btc to cover up something far worse that has happened just like Cryptsy. POLO can go fuck themselves. im out. Fish

You can check all of the delisting coins for March 27-28th, which is when the pumping began. If you line them all up on a 1d/1mo chart they very clearly overlap. I imagine the delist decisions were made that day.

Re: ♘ Bellacoin - Rename - Belacoin

Steem's MCap has been falling since that run up, though. One could say this is due to the market finding lower value in the what they provide. Without innovations, you'd be splitting that portion with them at a rate that's probably 1:10 at best with equal tech. Unless there's a substantial and tactile improvement over the Steemit system, one may expect parity would only be reached if Bela was in a separate market (making comparison less meaningful).

So let's say Bela accrues 10% of Steemit's marketcap (currently ~$44m, so let's say Bela gets $4m) over the course of a few months. Obviously this is a considerable amount of increase in value and inflow of money but what are the plans for the coin if it doesn't even get close to this? What's the plan if it sits at $1m or less over that same period?

To lay your business plans down on the assumption that the coin's going to just rocket in value is a bit strenuous at best. Just wondering if and what the more realistic motions forward are (or at least the next-worst-cases). There's also the possibility of hostile attacks a la Ethereum; how you intend to handle such a case will be of critical importance.

Also, the investor information is rather lacking. You have found the iceberg and mapped a tip with the pdf, but sophisticated investors looking through the information are going to very, very quickly be turned away if the only thing is a pdf that uses projections of moon-hood. Any coin "could" moon, and while I understand the idea of increasing the value through providing a product and tying it to the coin, the details of this are also extremely unclear.

Any money manager worth his salt is going to turn away from this vague treatment of the value of the stuff they're actually paying for and a lot of questions come to mind quickly: Are these coins meant to be a form of stock in this Belacam project? Is the Ambia Fund independent of the other coinholders, and just a group of people who bought up the coin while it was cheap and are seeking to profit on the management and revitalization? What is their role in all of this and what is the relationship/interaction between them (and other independent groups that want to do the same thing with Bela, or another competitor)?

Hopefully this elucidates some of the concerns.

What is your long-term target for the price of belacoin? You can't just say "to the moon" or give massive values to the coins if a single like is equivalent to one belacoin. How much does each of these likes really matter or should they be valued at? I'm having a hard time understanding how the consistency (or lack thereof) between the products might be managed in a larger ecosystem.

The team may want to work on some search engine optimization and producing marketing content. You will be seeing a surge of interest in coming weeks and need to be prepared. Currently, googling both belacoin and belacam produces funky ass results (particularly with belacam yielding only ~8000 hits and the top hits leading to a facebook page and youtube videos in another language).

Sow the seeds. Build it and they will come (in droves). The analysis on the pdf is pretty basic, but it's not a bad start. Up the ante with the business-end analysis and show that you are capable of sophisticated development and I believe this effort to break the shitcoin mantle will succeed.
