Re: Namecoin DNS server for .bit domains

Does this mean I'm using you for all my dns? I don't think I want that.

I'm on Ubuntu, using NetworkManager
If you don't want to use someone elses DNS server you can set up dnsmasq on ubuntu pretty easily to serve namecoin domains and fall back to your normal DNS. This approach uses a small program I wote to generate secondary hosts file for namecoin domains. Instructions here: http://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=6017.msg97623#msg97623

Thanks for this.

I got my withdraw twice for some reason on 9/16/2011 they want me to send the money they accidently sent to me. According to this paper i got it is from my bank on behalf of "Risk Asset Managment Inc." Anyone heard of them? Im assuming its whom runs bitcoin7. That or a finacial agency

"give us back our unregulated currency" Sounds like a scare tactic to me. If you feel like you should give it back, do it, but they won't be able to make you.

Fairly new to this, but not linux, just want to make sure I'm using everything optimal / right setup. I've got Ubuntu 11.04 with the APP SDK 2.4 installed and catalyst 11.6. I'm using AMDOverdriveCtrl to (attempt) set the gpu clock to 980 (which works) and memclock to 360 (which doesn't ?). I launch cgminer with "cgminer -a sse2_64 -O user:pass -o pool:port -C". Seem to average about 308 mh/s while using the desktop, haven't checked its idle yet.

And don't trust HiddenWiki for links! Full of phishing sites.  Lips sealed

Monitor the links for changes, its sad sometimes how quickly a sites link can change within a day.

LVM split across 2 disks with one big ecryptfs ext4 fs. Within that runs a kvm which runs another ecryptfs ext4fs, which holds a truecrypt disk that needs to be mounted, once mounted, my wallet. Packets are monitored at each level. What do you guys think?

Overkill? Then again, I don't know your wallet balance  Wink

Don't want your appz/warez collection being found either Wink

Just let me tell you that whoever is paying for that electricity will notice the consumption increase. Which means that if you don't have the permission to use the computers for mining you will get caught.

+1 to that. Electricity is never 'free' and it will be quite a jump in costs when their next bill comes.
