There is nothing wrong with gambling, especially if done in moderation and is done legally. The thing is, if you are a celebrity and you are so much into gambling, chances are you'll lose product endorsements.Companies wouldn't want their brands to be promoted by people who is known publicly as a big gambler, unless the product being endorsed is gambling-related.

Re: Which betting type gives you the most payout?
by
rommel_BCA
on 28/10/2019, 05:39:45 UTC

Sports betting is broader than most beginners think. It takes many forms. It’s not limited to placing your bet on who you think will win between two teams or players in a match. Sometimes, it gets challenging when odds or point spreads get in the way.

There are various bet types you can choose from when placing wagers on sporting events. But which of these earn you the most money?

  • Straight bet
  • Money line bet
  • Total line bet
  • Parlay bet
  • Head-to-head bet

If you do not know these betting types much, here's an article to help you understand them better: https://www.bitcoinsportsbetting.co.uk/news/most-common-types-of-sports-bets/

Of the 5, it's parlay that betting type that makes me earn the most. It makes me have better control of my wins and losses because multiple bets on multiple matches are covered.

Re: BBC Sports Personality of the Year 2019 betting [ODDS UPDATED]
by

I can say Hamilton has the biggest chance of winning as BBC SPOTY 2019. His record in the past year and in the past few months are stellar. Plus, his fan base is so huge. There are several Facebook groups about him, and his followers on Twitter are actively behind him. Add to this the fact that he's already won as BBC SPOTY before and that he's the most popular among the top 5 on the list — you may not go wrong if you bet on Lewis Hamilton.

Re: INFOGRAPHIC: Online Slot Gaming Tips from Veteran Players
by
rommel_BCA
on 30/09/2019, 03:47:20 UTC
Most of these are pretty obvious, though I'd rather recommend avoiding slots unless they show specific RTP rates and are provably fair.

Slots are often one of the lowest RTP games at the casino, and there is absolutely no skill element to most of them, hence why they're not particular on my list of interests.

That being said, there are some with cool themes, but that quickly gets boring after a few runs.

But not everyone knows sports betting or poker or any other games that "require skill," as you said. This is why slots are found by some people a good game for betting. The simplicity of the gameplay makes gambling just a breeze. Yes, the RTP is low, but the thought of hitting a big win on a random spin is attractive enough to make you take a shot at the jackpot, esp. if the slot has a progressive prize pool.

Can we perhaps add sports bettor James Holzhauer to the list?

I believe he now has the celebrity status after having won over 10 games in a row on the game show Jeopardy!.

Re: Reasons Crypto Players Skip Casinos with KYC
by
rommel_BCA
on 25/07/2019, 09:31:56 UTC
Beyond the reasons mentioned in the Op I find a much important factor that keeps gamblers skip the KYC process is the fear of governments. Someday if governments request to submit the data of each and every user, our information gets revealed with the
amount wagered in total. Some foolish governments might also levy tax taking it as a proof of spending though most games lost.

Right! And with government's interference, there will be tax imposed upon the operator. The more tax is imposed, the more charges there will be on the players' transactions with the casino.

Re: Reasons Crypto Players Skip Casinos with KYC
by

on 17/07/2019, 05:47:16 UTC
(SINCE THE TOPIC HAS BEEN ACTIVE HERE ON BITCOINTALK FOR QUITE SOME TIME NOW, I DECIDED TO CREATE AN INFOGRAPHIC ABOUT IT. AND NOW IN THIS UPDATED POST, YOU WILL SEE I ALREADY ATTACHED BELOW THE INFOGRAPHIC FOR EVERYONE'S EASY READING)

“Know your customer,” “know your client,” or simply KYC is a procedure carried out by a business to verify the identity of its potential and existing customers. This is done to avoid putting the business at risk of being used by fraudulent individuals for illegal activities like money-laundering.

Additionally, the procedure is one way of protecting the interest of the customers, usually in case of loss of account or fund forfeiture.
In the online betting industry, all the reputable casinos you know do the KYC in compliance with the gaming-related laws within the jurisdictions they target. They are required to get their players’ personal information like name, age, address, and sometimes banking details. They even ask the players to present copies of their valid IDs just to ensure there will be no fraud.

While some cryptocurrency players find KYC beneficial and well-intentioned, others see it as a menace to online betting. Here's an infographic summarizing why:

SOURCE WITH FULL ARTICLE: 4 Reasons Crypto Players Skip Casinos with KYC

I hope you find this post friendly. Feel free to comment below your thoughts on KYC procedures in crypto-accepting casinos.

The infographic included pretty much summarizes the reasons crypto users don't like kyc in online casinos. Nice work, OP. We hope to see more posts like this.

Affiliate marketing can give good income for a person but is not going to be easy, even if we work hard it deoends on our luck and others luck as well so someone doing this as their job are risking their time too much.

I don't think success in casino affiliate marketing is based on luck. I believe it's based on smart work which includes practicing the best SEO strategies and social media marketing techniques.

It is really profitable to be a casino affiliate and do passive income with it, but the workload in order to be a successful casino affiliate is hard. I tried this over a couple of years back and I didn't find success or maybe it's just not for me.

I will be looking at some pointers here and think it over again if will put another try to be a casino affiliate.

How did you go about it? Social media marketing? Email marketing? Website optimization?

Actually promoting a gambling sites entails a very high hard work and a lot of effort is really needed in other to succeed in it.  I have tried promoting some gambling sites before but failed however I will go through this tips you have listed and see if I can used the tools for my success in affiliate marketing.

I feel you. It's really hard, especially if you are a one-man team. That's why others consider hiring a team just to make affiliate marketing profitable.

I have tried many to be an affiliate of many casinos in the last few years, but I think I have failed already since I cant earn good commission as most of my referrals are not real gamblers. So far the only affiliate program that gave me some money is Fortunejack affiliate program. I have to admit that finding real gamblers to be my referrals is not an easy task to do. I need to work hard for it by spreading the link everywhere but the result is still under my expectation.

I heard FJ's affiliate program is really good. It's review here (https://www.bitcoincasinoaffiliates.com/review/fortunejack/) and in other review sites is good, makes me want to try it, esp. that it's friendly to Bitcoin players.
Have you tried Best Partners?

Just tried a few, and only made a few. So it's not really that profitable unless you know some a large group of people who can help you and make them use the platform. Even though people nowadays wants an easypeasy money, still they don't want to try those referral things as for the majority of them in the past only made a fake affiliates. So the efforts has been wasted and they only made the people looked dumb for advertising their platform for free.

Have you tried doing this using a couple of websites [that you own]?

Some Bitcoin gamblers wonder how to make money promoting casinos. Taking the first steps to get started is simple, but getting the results your want — that is, profitability — requires hard work.

You can start by knowing first what makes up a Bitcoin casino affiliate marketing starter kit.

Next, you will need to choose a couple of great casino affiliate programs. Some programs allow you to market multiple casinos in one system. Some are just dedicated to a single casino.

To know better about casino affiliate marketing, you can go to BitcoinCasinoAffiliates.com, a site that will give you affiliate program reviews, affiliate marketing tips, affiliate event details, and affiliate industry news.
