Shit that is clever, fooled a few pro's.

Meanwhile. I struggle to sell any  coins to cleverly grow a stash.

Good luck to you guys with more balls than I,

Damn, did the hackers get another one?

Looks hacked to me. The language seems different (misusing words like "loose"), and I doubt that AP needs to be wasting time with earnings from a signature campaign.

Best thing to do is not make any decision on emotion, as we can see there are trolls here doing what they can to influence you.

Don't forget that Monero was at one point the most heavily trolled community. (I have no way of quantifying that claim but it seems true)

Every altcoin is down in relation to BTC, it's like a tsunami receding before the big wave.

I am one of those who rage quitted Monero after the fake fluffy pony "announcement" 3 months ago. I have since been trying to re-enter hoping for that elusive major dip. Hoping today is that day though price seems to be exceptionally resilient to the big China FUD. Oh well, going to watch dumb and dumber today... need to relate to something.

Today is a good day to Monero.

A very good day, only wish I had set my bids a little lower. One must be patient like the condor as you say. Cheers to a successful hard fork.

Then tell me how XMR is now back on the main page of Bitcoinwisdom, after several days of being gone?

Monero (XMR) is now absent from the list on the main page, even though this is still working. Any ideas why?

So, does anyone know if the dev team has to decided to officially implement the HF to the ~16th which is when the determined block would roll around or to change the block # so that it happens on the 21st as was advertised for quite some time?

HF happens by the block which is hard coded in the daemon, the date is just an estimation. The block has to be determined 6 months in advance so if there is huge increase in hashrate, it is possible for that block to come sooner than expected.

Has anyone been able to cash out of Monero?

I am having a truly Kafkaesque exerience. I'm tier 4 verified on Kraken, but have been unable to withdraw any funds to my bank account. No explanation so far. My bank account details are all correctly entered.

I gave my church a substantial amount of Monero. They spent 3 months getting verified on Kraken but have also been unable to withdraw any funds. They were told that the wire transfer process has to be separately verified. They are trying to jump through all the hoops but I am beginning to lose hope.

Similar problems on Coinbase. I have tried selling Bitcoin on Coinbase but the transaction has been rejected because I am "over the weekly limit", which I'm clearly not. This used to work.

And I'm having the same problems on goldmoney.com. Not a cryptocurrency but again transfer out is not working for nonsensical reasons.

I'm starting to wonder whether the whole cryptocurrency world, if not the entire financial world, is fake. What does the Monero price matter if there's no real world liquidity?

Anyone else having similar problems?

I have had a good experience with Gemini. Verification only took 1 week or so (this was earlier this year), and there are no withdrawal fees. Trading fees are reasonable, unlike the Coinbase 1.5%. ACH withdrawals have been smooth. Haven't tried a wire withdrawal yet but I hear that it is reliable.

From what I understand, the "th" is pronounced as an S in Korean. So you would say "Bitsum".

Something isn't functioning then--both ChrisPop and myself made deposits over an hour ago

Karl told me the back-end setup is the same as the original depo, so saddam's server might be down then.

Monerod needed a restart, I will increase RAM. Deposits should be credited now.

Additionally, just focusing on E1 and B1 ignores possible losses in M3. For example, I believe binaryfate (correct if wrong) is out like almost 100 BTC worth of XMR that he deposited but was not credited for.

There are no M3 losses. All deposited M3 was and is fully accounted for (now held in Gringotts). binaryFate deposited XMR and sold the M3 to arbitrage B1 - he is owed BTC.

What Pappy would you suggest for someone to start their collection? I've been more of a wine hoarder lately but it would be nice to have some excellent bourbon on hand. I know I've tried some of the "lower priced" PVW in the past but I can't remember what year it was, other than I enjoyed it.

Is the Monero Bubble looming? Could be! Price will be in the $300-2000 range.

These charts always make me laugh at how consistently inaccurate they always are

Actually this guy has been correct, see how this chart played out (which looked equally outlandish at the time it was posted).

Febo, you are technically correct. This is item is the first *pure silver* Monero coin, not the "first ever" Monero physical coin. I also have one from this batch (see first page of Cryptonic thread).

In late 2014 he first released brass silver plated Monero coins, prior to offering the pure silver.

Edit: To clarify, even though it is not the first ever produced Monero coin, the first batch of pure silver coins also have "2014" printed on the back, though the coins were not available until 2015.

We have few more physical Monero coins (brass, silver plated) available for free while our site is not officially launched. Please PM me if you want to get one.

Dash - A good coin, very professional community and a good business plan.

that's just wrong... have you been on the dash-subreddit, or in their slack channel... they're just echo-chambers... Dash has almost no community except their paid for fanboyz

Dash has a community, and bear in mind, the sign of the community is not how many trolls are writing online.
When it comes to professionalism, Dash is in the level of Corporation when you compare it to Monero which is in the level of boiz playing in the garage and tuning their four-wheels. The fact that they have a marketing department on its own is a sign it is like a solid business.
The fact that they are able to pay for a marketing is exactly the sign of professionalism and that they take seriously the user-adaption.

Every troll in this thread (except me) is an echo-chamber - just look at the amount of circle jerking taking place here when I am absent.  Roll Eyes

That speaks more to the quality of discussion on this forum. The community on reddit.com/r/Monero has been steadily growing with 100+ new subscribers per day on average. Lots of new users learning about Monero and asking questions.

Monero Stack Exchange is also growing rapidly:

guys, i would like to sell some ETH and buy monero instead, but when i want to sent from parity to my poloniex account , my poloniex says its generating an adress but it does not give me an adress... it stays on " generating "

someone has the same problem? are there other ways to sell my ETH for monero ?

please help

I haven't had that problem but I also have not deposited ETH on Poloniex. You can also buy Monero at Kraken, Bitfinex, Shapeshift, TuxExchange, Bittrex, and maybe some others.

From what date afterwards will be deposits refunded if the game will stop?
I deposited 100xmr during this crash.

I see that you deposited XMR (M3) and sold it for M. The M3 amount that exists in-game represents the balance of XMR deposited, so only M3 can be withdrawn for XMR.
