Re: Kryptowalut and Bitcoin is a financial pyramid?
by

I have a story. I'm working in IT as software developer. I have a lot of colleagues all from different teams. Haven't once had a normal conversation about cryptocurrencies. All of them think it's a waste of time and some of them even think it's a financial pyramid as op said. This is pretty sad that intelligent and educated people still can't accept technological changes involving day to day finances.

Re: Want to learn Basic IT and Linux

If you are complete newbie then I would recommend code academy.com course "learn the command line". It's interactive and you can do everything on browser. That will help you in basic understanding of command line.

Also if you ever run into a wall. Use unix.stackexchange.com that is the perfect place to solve unix related issues.
For basics in unix/Linux OS just search Google for documentation and also watch some videos.
Hope this helps

I'm definitely going to do this, and I'm putting together the website at the moment.

It won't be an airdrop, ICO or bounty programme, it will just be somewhere to learn, and experiment with running a node, and mining Bitcoin. There will be no payment expected for participation, and hopefully, I will be able to run a supporting discussion thread.
I hope to hear about your progress.

Decentralization is the whole meaning of bitcoin so it doesn't need to be regulated like banks do to the currencies. But still as vladimirhf said. Exchanges can be regulated.

This would be a great opportunity for people who are new to blockchain and cryptocurrency technology. It should be as transparent as possible.
Also wouldn't it be easier to create this project with all virtual tokens and virtual "mining"? This would prevent a lot of unnecessary hardware usage (mind those electricity bills). Correct me if I'm wrong.

Interesting read. We definetely could use blockchains for greater purpose but in todays community everything is money/profit based and cryptocurrencies provide this feature.

on 27/06/2018, 14:00:26 UTC
The increase in profits depends directly on how you personally approached this case and how much seriously analyzed what they took.If the approach was serious and profit can not be avoided.Earn not those who are lucky, and those who are right to the point!
Very well said.
Also wanted to add that how well everybody does on project could increase the end profit for everybody. People with dedication to project and good awareness of todays markets will be those who both do good for community and receive higher rewards(profit).

Nowadays a lot of smart people ar ignoring all monetized social media posts. Of course if you have a lot of followers your influence over them could me measurable in higher amount of tokens paid by campaign. Imagine same in real world. If your advertising brings in more customers than others you will receive higher reward.

 Huh Huh why?

The coin will be used in a multitude of mobile and online games which require a large amount to be in circulation! It will be much funner winning 1,000 credits playing a flappy birds type game than 0.001 Smiley

Many people playing these popular games will be using them in-game and never be using them in any exchange or the like, it will just be like a game currency to them similar to neopets gold.
This creates false feeling of achieving something. Most mobile games are build this way. P2W is easy money but bad reputation.

Re: How to identify SCAMS?

First Search this forum. There are some topics that are updated daily with scam ICOs. (will try to post links later)
Second. never join campaigns that require you to pay first. These are well known pay to receive scams.

I feel sorry that good people fall for scams but it also serves as lesson to be cautious in future.

Re: New cryptocurrency exchange is looking for talented people

Covering AWS charges isn't enough. There are a lot of tools and tech involved on the security end when you're running an exchange. You definitely need Senior Developers to set things up, hiring Junior Level developers from the forum won't suffice the needs of an exchange development. If you don't have a dedicated CTO, you should get one on-board soon.

Can I ask what type of people are you looking exactly? What skills do you need for your exchange? What step your exchange is currently at?
Sorry for the questions, I am curious to know before I may waste your time with PMs and pretty sure it will be useful for others readers
Exactly! I don't understand how people expect to find talented people when their requirements are unclear/not mentioned.

I'm wondering about same thing. Otherwise it's confusing either you are looking for people with technical skills or marketing skills or even something else.

If it's not a scam or trash coin. Most of information necessary to dermine these factors are projects whitepaper and purpose of their coin/token.
Anyone who decides to invest in specific altcoin should be familiar with what it can provide.

Add the installation prefix of "Qt5Gui" to CMAKE_PREFIX_PATH or set
"Qt5Gui_DIR" to a directory containing one of the above files.  If "Qt5Gui"
provides a separate development package or SDK, be sure it has been
  installed.

Did you try contacting them to get more information about your accounts termination?
They just refer to Terms of Service but not specific prohibited points.
