Well thanks to Kano @ discord I was able to figure out my problem. But unfortunately I'll be off again.

So once your pool supports the new address system please let me know and I'll gladly return.

Hey Kano,

I finally switched back to your pool and figured out I had the wrong wallet address still saved (so first payment going to the great gods of BTC...yeah...). When trying to change the address via phone I inserted my pw wrongly too often. How long do I have to wait until I can login again?

I finally found the correct pw ^^

Thanks again.

⭐ Merited by SlushPool official (1)
And just to state here, the last two pages show exactly why I left kano pool and switched to slush....

Most active users defend Kano pool like a religion, critical posts will unfortunately be deleted and other threads are always spammed with the same chants.....

Plus I'm very satisfied with Slushpool service: I get a great app to check on my miners, I get E-Mails if something fails and I'm more than willing to pay 1.1% of my stuff to get notified immediately if something is wrong, since I'm just a hobby miner and not everything is monitored excellently.

And that you get delayed answers is pretty normal for a pool with that member size... .

So all I can say is: Keep up the good work, slushpool staff.

Bitmain 100$ Coupons

Hi,

I have just recieved 24 100$ Coupons from Bitmain. They are valid until 01 June 2018. As far as I can see I can send them to anybody else with the donating button. Of course I can provide a screenshot, if wanted.

I would like to sell them for 50€ / piece, preferably via paypal, but BTC is also possible (fees must be paid by buyer). Of course everything's negotiable.

Attention:
As far as I can tell you can only use one cupon per order (or item, not quite sure).

I agree on that, but I'd still have to have an extra pc with awesome miner running 24/7. That's why I'd prefer to get the mail directly from the pool.

Shit...I just check the worker page and found that it offline...
Then I check the shift graph, it show the worker offline since 16 Jan at around 11:00 UTC+8...
But I am now working at office, can't access the miner, need to wait until tonight and see what happen...Embarrassed
I am very worry...

This is the reason why I had to leave kano's pool.. I would love to come back, but the biggest advantage of Slush pool is that I get an E-Mail as soon as one miner goes below a certain hashrate.

@ Kano
You don't happen to have that feature planned for the future, do you? I know a phone app exists that checks the total hashrate. But the variance of the hashrate gets higher the more miners you have, so you can't recognize a dead miner right away.

I've had two miners with the same symptoms. I made the boards work again by simply changing places with another board in the miner. I suppose it was sheer coincidence that it worked, but what can I say, it worked. So you could try this, too. Just open your miner and exchange the places of the broken board with a functioning board. Maybe it works ^^.

Yeah, with the 800 PSU you can't run more than two boards. My former S7 used up to 1400 watt.

Check if all 3 boards are connected properly and the diods are on. If one isn't bright red there u have the faulty board. If one board is not connect you can try disconnecting  one board and then connecting the formerly not connected board to see if it's still working. If it is working you have to buy another PSU and then u can connect all 3 boards and run it at full capacity. If not, u have a 3 TH miner Wink

does anyone know the release dates bitmain had for the s9s with 14 th?

like when they originally released them and when the first shipping/deployment dates are specifically

I ordered an S9 13.5TH on 7/8/17 that was promised to ship between September 10-20.
UPS says it will be delivered in the US Friday, 9/15.
But don't recall when I saw the 14TH sale.

S9 14Th sale seems to have been an insiders only sale on August 22-23rd. I cought it later due to a comment I read on twitter concerning an L3 sale shortly after that day.

Shipping is sometime around the beginning of November. I ordered one from a reseller who said he'll be shipping around the 10.11

I just tried out the checkout precedure and I have to say it looks greatly like a scam....

No shipping? With intercontinental? And the S9 miner still only 1550$?

Experience tells me if something sounds too good to be true it most of the time isn't Sad

So far I've had two miners like that, too.

First thing I'd try is take off the cable of the board and reattach.
I've also switched out boards with each other and reattached them. So far I've had luck and then they started working.

Resellers like you are the reason the prices are so high.

If everybody stopped buying from resellers prices would go back to normal within a few months because resellers couldn't afford buying bulk from bitmain.

Hi,

is there a possibility to get an E-Mail from the pool if one miner drops below a certain hashrate?

The phone app only alerts me if the whole bunch drops below, which is problenmatic since I'm currently using older and newer miners, so the hashrate older miners have is smaller then the normal ups and downs the total hashrate has.

Thanks in advance ^^

Re: Best Pool For a 40 - 50 Th Mine
by
scaary
on 22/06/2017, 11:33:56 UTC
Hi,

since we're already talking about different pools and fees, I have one more question:

I need to pay transaction fees if I want to transfer Btc. So far, so good. As I've understood you need to pay a smaller amount of transaction fees if you have very few, but big, payments in your wallet, vs you pay a high transacvtion fee if you have a lot, but small, payments in you wallet. Is that correct?

Cause in this case I'd also need to add these fees to my calcutlations concerning which pool is more profitable, since the fees may not be kept by kano, but are still substracted from my margin.

Thanks again for your answers.

I'm not sure what wallet you are using that would charge you to receive the payouts, but I suggest you change if that is the case.

The payouts I send are zero fee and I charge no fees to send the block payouts.

Mh, all right, if you say so I believe you and have another go at it. Maybe I simply misunderstood something in the wallet.

Thanks again for the answers.

Hi,

thank you very much for your patience and your answers.

So, I'll try to clarify:

@firetreeactual
I am using Bitcoin wallet on my android phone. Is that one of the "core" wallets you were talking about?

And the issue I was talking about:
Accoding to the kano side recived some payments. However, these are smaller than what is actually arriving at my wallet. So I assumed that these are reduced by transaction fees. And there are always many payouts whenever a block is found, is that normal as well?
I'm just a little worried becase I egt many small payments, vs. in Slush where I get payments according to my options.

@ clgrissom3
Shouldn't all pools have the same probabilty of finding a block (of course in correlation to the respective hashpower) and income only further reduced by the pool / transaction fee?

Thanks for your answers again!

Hi,

I'm new to Kano and I've set my few miners on the pool for a day jsut to try it out (have been at Slush so far).

I have a question concerning the transactions I recive:

Do I have to pay the transaction fee for every transaction that I recieve from the pool? I'm asking cause the numbers of Btc I recieve differ from what the hp says what I got. Is that normal? And So far I've got a lot of small payments and paying transaction fees on every single transaction seems kinda nonsense to me... .

Thanks in advance.
