Without these altcoins, we would never have concepts such as smart contracts and completely anonymous transactions.

Bitcoin invented smart contracts in 2009 and is the biggest smart contract platform in the world with the most developers, no matter what centralized eth scammers say. Just search github. LN literally runs on smart contracts, dex's and atomic swaps were on bitcoin since 2013 due to smart contracts. All of ethereum's success is from lying about their decentralization and taking credit for others implementations.

Not all coins are altcoins too. Monero is a legitimate altcoin with intelligent developers that created decentralized network with unique anon transactions.

Ethereum is not a cryptocurrency, it's not an altcoin, it's not a decentralized network because its developers are either idiots or scammers that designed it centralized via premine. This isn't debatable.

Do not confuse dislike of ethereum as dislike of altcoins because ethereum is not relevant to this field in any way shape or form.

This is how stupid ethereum scam is:

Consider centralized scams lying about your safety bad, best example of which is ethereum, the exact opposite of Bitcoin or altcoins.

Bitcoin and altcoins have a common enemy - malicious bad actors like ethereum vitalik's premine, zcash trusted setup backdoor, iota coordinators.

They have been explained how not to scam since 2014, and our mistake was treating them as rational people, but they are not - they are scammers, treat them only like scams, and do not let them call themselves cryptocurrencies or altcoins, they are literally not, 1 central trusted party in control is a property of all those projects by design, not debatable, which makes their promoters scammers and illiterate with no exceptions.

There is no better example of a scam in technology history than Ethereum

There is no subjectivity necessary to state the obvious, it's completely derived from the premine, from their idiocy in every single thing they do.

Ethereum group are literally made of only people who are unable to make a single rational choice in their lives, starting with always permissioned designs like PoS and premines and ICO's and ending with failures like countless subjective forks forced on everyone, money confiscations, censorship already demonstrated. They even failed at accidentally forking the chain a few times due to incompetent devs. But only incompetent developers cannot tell if 1 or 2 is bigger and cannot calculate how only 1 trusted party can have 70% of supply in the damn premined design.

Ethereum is a community of only illiterate idiots and scammers with literally no other options to explain a choice for a centralized platform cosplaying crypto.

a singledumb image can explain more than 100% of their community understands in lifetime, but why not several:

It's not possible in this universe to be more of an idiot or a scammer than to be a member of the ethereum community.

It's a statement fully objective to accurately describe something as those words were intended for upon their creation.

Stop treating them like they have an equally valid opinion when they are promoting 1 > 2, 70% is ~ 0%, and how network that already demonstrated trivial subjective censorship and confiscations is trustless and censorship resistant.

Despite some changed done by the Ethereum team about total supply cap and coin to be created per annum like it or not Ethereum is still consider as a crypto currency and it will be nice if you dont take this situation personal. Let people make their own choices or else someone will misunderstand your statement as FUD.
With that been said, Ethereum will only hold it number 2 place.

exactly nothing there is a matter of opinion or personal, other than scammers in general being a personal thing for anyone who dislikes scammers in general. it doesn't matter what the centralized ethereum team randomly decides - nothing about centralized networks supply cap is certain nor any other rules, including future confiscations/censorship which are trivial on ethereum for the central premining party.

the ethereum design allows 1 party to control 72m of supply for free, so it doesn't matter what Ethereum team does or doesn't do, Ethereum was a failure from point they designed it in 2014 to be centrally premined and thus centrally controlled.

Centralized 72m eth = central control of incentives = central control of blockchains that are controlled by incentives = ethereum is centralized = lying about it makes it a scam, by definition.

Actual literal idiots like Vitalik or anyone in ethereum community have already proven to not capable of being rational on this topic by choosing the broken design of ethereum.

Ethereum is not a cryptocurrency, it's not decentralized in any way, it's not a real project, it's the textbook definition of a scam = lying for money, it's a matter of math and not an opinion.

Ethereum is a good project with lots of awesome usecases if no the best cryptocurrency projects out there. It's Usecases gave birth to a new revolution of blockchain technology making it available to even the common people. With ethereum smart contracts and DApps infrastructure, even a person with little know-how of blockchain technology would be able to utilize the tech. With time i believe ethereum as a project can achieve impressive and great success but not any time soon.

what possible usecase is there for a centralized platform that's only pretending to be decentralized and thus costs more, takes longer, and you still depend on centralized trust due to the idiocy of premine.

they took credit for others work countless times, created nothing, a community of only literally idiots and scammers in every way

If premine wasn't enough, if random confiscations of money wasn't enough, if censorship of tx, if creation of blacklists wasn't enough to convince you about it on eth, that's called illiteracy on the topic.

Every single person promoting ethereum should be treated no different than a pedophile or a scumbag selling broken parachutes to children while lying about their safety for money.

Ethereum does not qualify to be an altcoin, because it's fully centralized

Ethereum does not qualify to be an cryptocurrency, because it's fully centralized

Ethereum does not qualify to be useful technology, because it's less efficient at centralized things, and can do exactly 0 decentralized things.

Calling Ethereum an altcoin is an insult to altcoins, almost every non scamming developer, including big ones like sia/xmr, including even the damn inventor of smart contracts, Nick Szabo, consider eth a disgusting scam.

One has to literally be an idiot to like eth if incapable of figuring out 1 central trusted party is not decentralized.

It's literally known as chain of liars and thieves https://medium.com/@WhalePanda/ethereum-chain-of-liars-thieves-b04aaa0762cb

Ethereum cannot do smart contracts, it cannot do trust minimized transactions, it's literally pre-bitcoin era technology. At least some altcoins experiment with interesting ideas without giving up trust minimization for profit like idiots like Vitaliks Bitconners Onecoins do.

Bitcoin invented smart contracts, yet you never hear that form Eth camp. https://medium.com/@nextlevelcrypto/whats-the-story-with-smart-contracts-and-ethereum-c0d771fd9eb9

Ethereum's place is irrelevant because centralized ethereum scam is irrelevant to decentralized technology field completely.

It shouldn't be listed on any cryptocurrency website because it's not one.

@fox has announced the release of the official Bitshares Core Developer worker proposal on the Bitshares network. This worker proposal named '201803-bitshares-core' is now live and the community can cast their vote within the Bitshares wallets. I am happy to report that within this week support has pushed this worker into being actively funded (your votes are still required if you want to ensure this team is well supported into the future). Find more information HERE

AEX exchange (formally known as BTC38) has announced that they have issued GAT (Global AEX Token) on the Bitshares blockchain. GAT is similar to Binance's BNB token and can be used as transaction fees or used for voting on new coins listings; AEX will also use a percentage of the exchange income to buy back GAT tokens from the market. Gat tokens will be distributed via a daily airdrop (that needs to be claimed each day) to BTC, BTS, ETH, LTC and NSS tokens holder on the exchange. More information HERE

A new team of application developers has made themselves known to the community this week with the release of the email-notifier for BitShares DEX. The Notifier allows Bitshares users to subscribe to email alert for account changes such as Transfers, Fill Order execution, or, soon, breach of collateral ratio. The code for the notifier is open source and there are instructions available to run the service on your own node; alternatively the team is offering the service to the community for 50 BTS per user for a lifetime subscription. The team have also confirmed, that it's building a wallet application (named Trusty) on top of BitShares, and they plan to also open-source the SDK framework used. You can find the source code and information to run the service or subscribe to their service HERE. Keep an eye out for this team on upcoming Beyond Bitcoin / Bitshares talk hangouts. If you want to get in contact with this team you can reach them via the telegram account @trustyarm.

The BitShares Blockchain Foundation (@bitshares.fdn) has released a post that provide some insight to the complexities of listing with exchanges in today's legal focused landscape. The article also expands on advice from the legal counsel and their recommendations to ensure that Bitshares has the best chance and navigating the legal framework. They also touch on the accounting process and issues with the website bitshares.org. This is a long article but it is a great read to get an idea of the work being performed by the foundation in the background. Find full details HERE

The BitShares Blockchain Foundation (@bitshares.fdn) have requested that BTS holders consider seven BitShares Improvement Proposal (BSIP) proposed by the Bitshares Core Developer (BSIP-0030 - BSIP-0037) focused on improvements to the BitShares protocol. The BSIP's are proposed as worker proposal and available to be voted on with the Bitshares wallets. You can see a full list of the BSIP's HERE and find the announcement HERE

@cm-steem has announced that Hertz is now live on the Bitshares DEX. Hertz is an Algorithm Based Asset which is pegged to the USD, backed by BTS and has its price feed modified to oscillate using a sine wave with 14% amplitude and a 28 day period resulting in a settlement price range fluctuations between $0.86 and $1.14 depending on the current cycle position. More info HERE

@full-steem-ahead / Verbaltech2 has released his monthly Witness report which includes details of new hardware on order, resource usage on currently nodes and updates on price feeds being delivered. See the full report HERE

@agorise has been running some incentives programs for starting up Cryptocurrency related meetups in your local city. The latest giveaway has up to 1000 BTS reward for starting your meetup before the 29th of March. More info HERE

Observation from this week
This section will highlight any observations made while analysing the data.

BITFARM, The first Bitshares based simulation game is about to launch. Bits.Farm is a farming simulation game that runs entirely on the Bitshares network. There is no ICO, no crowdsale only a free airdrop. Claim your FREE BitFarm tokens HERE all you need is a Bitshares account and access to telegram!. Official announcement HERE

Bojan Tomić and Domagoj Poljak have held a Bitshares workshop at Effectus University College for Law and Finance in Zagreb, Croatia. The Workshop was organized through the ongoing project of expanding BitShares towards Eastern Europe and The Balkans, initially through @apasia.tech presence to establish BitShares Slovenia. Full details HERE

The Bitcoin Latina team may have introduced ‘Bitcoin Latina’ a Bitshares UIA ‘BCL’. BCL has been said to capture the best of Bitcoin (mining creation mechanism), Ethereum (initial release mechanism) and BitShares (operational real time performance). Bitcoin Latina are also kindly airdropping 10 BCL tokens to all Bitshares holders on the 14th of February. You can get more information about Bitcoin Latina and the reasons they chose Bitshares as their backbone HERE

CryptoBridge (A Exchange platform operating on the Bitshares network) has announced that they have added 6 new members to the team. New additions to the team include 2 mobile developers, 2 backend developers, frontend developer and a manager. The platform has had an explosive entry into the space and has an ambitious roadmap (including Multi signature federated gateway network/protocol, decentralized margin and bond markets). They have also announced an updated/revised roadmap will be released in March 2018. Find more information HERE

The Bitshares Blockchain Foundation has announced new email addresses to support workers and improve communications and processes. Separate email accounts have been setup for new and existing workers, invoices and reports. Any current or future workers should see the official announcement and use these new addresses for all future communications with the BBF. You can find the full details HERE

This week CryptoBridge have distributed the equivalent 11.8286 BTC or approximately $119,066.68 USD in staking rewards to holders on the Bitshares UIA Bridge.BCO (Staking required locking the token to the network in order to receive a share of trading commissions on the platform). This month has seen 5564 users staking the token and looking month on month there is no trouble seeing their platform is growing from strength to strength. This can also be observed in trading volume of the Bridge.*** assets on the DEX which are increasingly visible within the Most active DEX pairs. More information HERE

This week has seen a 47.52% increase in BTS committed to Open orders on the Bitshares DEX. Open orders are akin to Market Makers who are providing liquidity to the Bitshares DEX either from open buy or sell orders.

From this week forward the Top 100 table in the data below contains BTS holdings, Open orders and BTS as collateral. The new addition here is BTS as collateral which was not reported in my previous reports. I have updated the reference data so that %Change does include last week’s total including BTS as collateral which should give an accurate % change of overall BTS holdings per account. This change was requested by @funcrypto last week and after a community poll it was agreed that including the collateral will help give a more accurate picture of the top accounts on the network.

BTS being used as collateral for the smartcoin economy has increased by 13.5% this week which brings the total BTS being locked by the network to back smartcoins to a record high of 19.7%.

This week has seen a 55.8% increase in Open orders on the Bitshares DEX!. This week also shows a 24 hour volume of over 40 Million USD and last week’s record setting 170 Million USD 24 hour volume is suggesting the liquidity is increasing as adoption grows and more people seek a more transparent and open means of exchange without restrictions that can be imposed on centralized entities.

Congratulations to Alfredo Garcia (Bitshares core developer) who has had his new worker proposal approved by the Bitshares holders for a second term working as one of the Bitshares core developers!. Alfredo work ethic has been proven in the previous term and i personally (Bitshares in general as well i am sure) am very happy to see his work continue.
