This is actually pretty neat. If I'm logged in to GAW site - as a founder no less - I have HIGHER prices than if I open the site anonymously. And the prices have been raised since I first noticed the drop - this is not the first time that happened, software was blamed previously, bait'n'switch is the scientific term. Black widow Week 5 was 900, then 950, now 1100 or 1200 depending on who you are. Not sure about others, wasn't paying attention.

I noticed the same thing the other day http://www.reddit.com/r/dogemining/comments/282om2/fury_asic_13_mhs_for_9896/ci6tuu2.  I'm not a founder but a fairly early adopter and have enough reward points for a discount now.  Dunno if that could be it.

Haha awesome, thanks merc.  Your diligence is much appreciated by all of us I'm sure.  Will let you know if diff keeps going nuts moving forward.

Normal for zeus based ASICS.  I've actually seen worse.

Hi merc82, can you help me understand the vardiff please?  how come sometimes i get cycles such as the below

I'm hasing with 3 Furys, 4 Mh/s total.  But the diff is so ridiculously high (16384!) that I haven't submitted a share in 5 minutes.  This happens often, and it takes quite a while for the pool to recognize that the diff is too damn high:

And eventually it goes back to a reasonable diff but it doesn't stay there... eventually it spikes again and hangs the share submissions for who knows how long. Its not just this way for my Furys on Scrypt but my rigs on X11 and X13.  Is there a way to request a steady diff by my miner's config?

Have any of you seen my other topic?

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=650228.0

I've discovered Zenminer replacing my pool information with theirs on the device side and deleting my pools, causing my blades to mine for Josh. Maybe I'm misreading the situation, but, it's probably for the best if you at least check it out and weigh in.  Undecided
Just wondering, have you ever used any other Linux OS-based miner images (BAMT, PIMP, SMOS, etc?) - because if not, I can tell you, that each and every one of these images and many others, come pre-configured with the developer's pool info that's up and mining for them as soon as you power on.  It is up to you to ensure that you change it after the OS is launched, and you may be mining for the dev in the first few minutes until you make the change.  Now, I understand you did make your appropriate pool changes, and it would appear Zen is overwriting that info periodically, so that's REALLY ODD - no excuse for that.. but Eric's response seems genuine so I would say why don't you give him the benefit of the doubt?  If you completely don't trust them anymore then just use a different mining distro that's not cloud-based.  There are other Pi options for blades, you may want to check out Starminer to start, there is a 'gridseed-blade' profile.  If you are experienced with Linux just run cgminer on raspbian.

Hi guys,

I decided to try sgminer 5.0 beta to autoswitch between X11 and X13 coins on TMB. Worker hashrate appears to be fine on stat site, all's good in the miner window except the A values which remain at 0, even though my miner displays accepted share messages. Is this a bug? My shares are ok?
+1

Same thing here.. the A stays at 0 when looking at the miner output via the shell *EDIT* A went to 1 after 4 hours on each of my rigs *EDIT*.  However, my shares 'look' ok on the TMB side, and my web UI (IFMI pool manager) shows an amount of accepted shares.  I guess it's a bug.

More importantly however, is the autoswitching between x11 and x13 really that much better?  I'm having a hard time understanding how the constant switching is bringing me more profits.. because it seems that the rigs just barely get going on an algorithm when the port dies and they are switched to another one.  Right now my rigs have been up for about 40 min with my newly installed sgminer5 and they've switched back and forth at least 10 times.  I don't know if the small amount of shares produced each time are actually worth it.  Thoughts?

Does the hashra software show statistics for the individual Fury's on the web UI?

Yes, it does show the circular chart for each, hashrate, A/R. I ran it with 4 Blizzards for a while.
Cool thanks for the info

Has anyone gotten any mining software to work with IFMI pool manager and gotten the individual Fury statistics to actually show up on the status overview webpage?  I ask because I'm currently using starminer and while the overall hashrate does show with the oldass cgminer version that's been released by Zeus for these ASICs, it doesn't work 100% with IFMI.  This is what it looks like:

Eric, another question.  How do you handle the ZenMiner being resold?  For example, if someone sells their ASIC and ZenMiner as a package, but the ZenMiner has already been registered... can the number on the side be used to register another account? Or can the original account be modified to change the username for a new owner?  Would the old/new owners need to go through you guys to get this sorted on a case by case basis?

Right now I'm mining the X13 multipool with autoexchange on everything.  So I think I'm mining X13coin right now which isn't even on an exchange.  So how does that work?  You sell it when it gets on an exchange?  What if it doesn't get on an exchange?

Also there is no

Many zenMiner users are reporting the same, however, all have confirmed that pool stats (i.e. real stats) are typically much closer to what you'd expect them to be. We're actively working on refining the detail of the statistics provided in the zenOS UI.
What does the discarded number actually mean?  I realize that the no-submit-stale is NOT being used, so if all shares are being sent to the pool, what is being discarded and where?  By the way after about a half a day of running Furys, my accepts are 1862 and my discards are 2902.
Hi Eric, can you tell me what the "Discarded" number in the Zen UI actually means?

Good thread on GAW Community forum for this question. https://community.gawminers.com/gawminers/topics/zenminer_discarded_shares
well, I like this answer "If you are mining on a stratum server, and you should be, discarded shares don't matter. You can disregard them entirely." - I hope it's accurate Smiley

Just noticed the additional data on the miner screen. Very nice.

Is it possible to report the units temp?
Which browser are you using?  The display got messed up (not showing anything anymore) under Chrome within the last hour, where it has worked fine for the last day, even logging out and back in multiple times.  I tried IE for the hell of it and i now see all the nice statistics.

How is everyone's "Discarded" shares looking on the zenminer page?  After running overnight mine are double the accepted shares.

The poolside hashrates seem to be fairly accurate though.

Honestly, I'm not sure what that number actually means.  The option "no-submit-stale" is not enabled, so I don't think it has anything to do with locally discarding shares that are determined to be stale.  Thoughts?

Be nice to get the HW error count as well.

Oh, by the way, for those of you who don't see your pool stats - log cycle.  I was showing a friend the setup last night and log cycled and voila! There were SOME pool stats (not HW errors).
Yeah, zenminer doesn't show HW count.  I would check the Pi but I restarted it already because I tweaked some stuff so the old HW count is gone.
