Re:

The new beta version is ready. It is mostly a bugfix release, the more significant upgrades are coming next month. You can download PhoenixMiner 6.0a from here:

PhoenixMiner_6.0a_Windows.zip
PhoenixMiner_6.0a_Linux.tar.gz

The new features in this release are:
  • Full LHR disable mode -lhrdis <n>  1 - yes (default), 0 - no
  • Show the GPU vendor name in the list of GPUs to make it easier to identify the GPUs
  • Added support for the latest AMD Linux drivers 21.40.1. There are some bugs in these drivers, particularly the clocks and voltages can't be set properly with older
    cards (RX4x0/RX5x0/Vega/RadeonVII)
  • Validated support for the latest AMD Windows drivers up to 21.11.2
  • Fixed issues with AMD RX6700XT cards with the latest AMD and Linux drivers
  • Fixed issues with AMD Vega and Radeon VII cards on latest Windows and Linux drivers
  • Fixed crash with very old Nvidia drivers (3xx.x)
  • Other fixes and small improvements

The updated list of known issues (driver incompatibilities, etc.) and workarounds:
AMD Linux driver 21.40.1 has a bug preventing proper setting of clocks and voltages on older cards (RX4x0/RX5x0/Vega/RadeonVII). Given that these drivers are also
usually slower than the older drivers for these cards, we recommend using Linux drivers 20.30 for anything older than RX6000 series.
If you are using Linux drivers 21.40.1 with Radeon VII cards, you need to add the option -fpwm 1 in order to have proper fan control.
AMD Linux drivers 21.40.1 has finally removed the requirement of PCIe atomics but there are problems when you try to mix Polaris (RX4x0/5x0) cards and Vega or newer
cards on the same rig.
Some Nvidia cards will report a lot of stale shares under Windows 11. Using the same driver version under Windows 10 resolves the issue.

Re: Is the SearchTrade Idea Protected by Trademark?

Thank you for the attention, Feel free to use our Idea. If you can better what we have done I don't see it as an issue. That said I read some comments here which are very practical observations about the product. We are laying low at the moment and redesigning the whole product based on learning and data we collected running this service since last 18 months. Key is user value in long term. We have had tons of user feedback and we have taken it all into consideration. Will we succeed I dont know but we will give it our best shot.

Am OK with you not accepting my bid.  I do not see any negative trust on my profile still its your forum, your rule, your wisdom. All I am asking is how do I reclaim 2.2 btc I deposited for last auction number 170. Thymos was in touch with me was hoping to understand reclaim process. Thanx

The process is similar to submitting documents to banks or insurance companies. There is no law which binds any two parties to exchange information until both parties are consenting to exchange of information.

Essentially they offer a service and they set their rules and the choice is your's if you would like to subscribe or not.

Government or laws have no role to play in this. It is an agreement between two consenting entities.

Payment made was genuinely travelling out of town. this is extreme and irrational reaction. Sorry for the inconvenience but one must not jump to conclusions without learning more. Have a great day.

Re: Searchtrade.com has launched.
by

I think it's great idea, but i think it won't work well. Multi accounts and spammer will found this site & use any way to earn free bitcoin in easy & fast way.
Just like faucet website with ads, but we don't input captcha, but search what we want.
Can be prevented easily by simply limit the IP address to a search every 2 minutes
Or add captcha for every search query Wink

Could you see yourself ever using google again if they implemented a one search per two minute limit? That'd basically kill searchtrade.com in one fell swoop.

Yes captchas and a search limit would make the site too annoying if you really want to use the search engine but for example they can pay you only for one seach per minute or something.
I have set this site as my default search site now and I only use it if i have to search something.

if you own a keyword does it mean your site will be on top of that searches or its your only site that will be prompt on the searches? why do captcha is needed for this by the way?

Keyword ownership has nothing to do with site ranking or result placements.

its a faucet but not a huge search engine. why would users use searchtrade to search for what they are looking for?
maybe a cpm or ppc features would be an option for you to compete the bitcoin adnetworks. has any advertiser bought a keyword there?

We are adding more apps in coming days, give it some time you will find the service improving drastically in future. We have just began. Keep saying not even through 5% of our long term plan in terms of development and overall product design.
What kind of apps ?
Like android based game where you can earn satoshi from playing there ?
try to run a signature campaign here if your traffic is lower than expected as it can bring you a pretty good traffic Tongue
Also, Do you have a chance to increase the pay rates in the future ?
Maybe 500 satoshi for each search, as 100 satoshi is discouraging people from doing it Sad

Even 500 is not exactly worth most people's time.

Payout is based on advertising income math as we want to keep the pool profitable at all times. That said what is more important is number of searches and users go up on the network. Achieving scale is crucial in long run for success of the Idea. Cheers

Agree, but i think most people here is using the search function solely for the satoshis they earned, not really searching on the engine
Not trying to be offensive here, but why choose this if you got a google search engine Wink
At least the bot can be minimalized by using captcha security for every search query if OP don't want to put IP limit

We have bot detection in place already and it does not stop you from making searches just blocks payouts. I agree most people at this point only searching to make bitcoin but we are in process of adding more value add services for users. Google has taken 18 years to get where it is give us some time to build the service into greater value proposition for users. Thanx for your interest looking forward to more analysis from your end. Cheers

It would be mostly worth for those who buy popular keywords first as in comparison to those who will try to buy keywords too late in which they will most likely end up with non popular ones therefor they wouldn't be making any significant money. Hope it wouldn't turn to be a scam in the end since many have invested so far ever since the trial phase.

Value of keywords is directly proportionate to how much they earn as the number of users grow and start searching we will discover which keywords a re really valuable for sure. As we now go into app development phase kind and types of app might also determine the usage of keywords. E.g. One of the apps we are working on is food recipe search if people find that interesting certain food related words might get higher searches.

Still only 1162 users and we have not even began are scaled marketing campaign yet, wait for a while before you draw definitive conclusions.

I tried it just now, the website is working. They pay only 100 satoshis for your searches, there is a maximum of 40 paid searches (i suppose that maximum is daily). I don't know if it pays more on other countries.
I think that resets a few times a day.

You are allowed 40 searches per day 20 per hour max. System resets every 24 hours at midnight GMT

I'd say that the launch was distasteful.

We will keep improving the product and user experience in coming days, cannot achieve the world overnight and feedback we receive does help a lot.
