Re: If i send my bitcoins to a wrong address, what happens?
by
shacc
on 25/12/2017, 06:34:10 UTC
Any transaction issued with Bitcoin cannot be reversed, they can only be refunded by the person receiving the funds. Therefore, it is impossible for Instacoin to charge back or provide a refund. Bitcoin can detect typos and won't let you send money to an invalid address in the chain, but you should always confirm that you have type the correct adress to send to.

to mention that the more governments try to outlaw bitcoin the more the demand for bitcoin will likely increase
governments can ban bitcoin, but whether they can fully destroy it depends on how aggressively they discourage its use

Re: As a miner can i decide which block to mine?
by
shacc
on 21/12/2017, 18:24:27 UTC
theoretically: if you can mine blocks then you can certainly include your own transactions in the block.
practically: you are competing with every other miner on the planet to find the next block. If it happen you get the block reward plus you get to choose which transactions are included in your block. and if somebody else wins you get no say in the matter Unless you have a very large mining operation, the chance of you winning is so small that it's never going to happen.
miiners who do make new blocks today may choose to include their own transactions in their blocks.

basically if you lost your private key, you will never retrieve it again unless you will try to contact their support for taking chances.
certainly there is no way to go backwards from the public key to the private key, that would mean that anyone could steal your Bitcoin
