Re: What makes you trust a new cryptocurrency?
by

on 27/09/2018, 14:48:24 UTC
I will trust them if they have a clear vision on what they are trying to do and how they can achieve that, it can be seen in their whitepaper. I also always check their background to see if they have the capability the run the idea or not. I don't like something that aims too high, i like it when the project set a realistic target.

Re: Do You Think ICO investors are Decreasing?
by
shiningstar
on 24/09/2018, 15:01:21 UTC
They want to collect too much money in the first place and if you compared to most project last year where the hardcap is around $1 million usd then right now the hardcap is too high. Another problem is if they collect too much money then the starting marketcap will be too high and it will be hard for the price to go up as we've seen in recent months and that's why there's fewer people that want to invest in ico because the profit is getting smaller.

Re: Which do you prefer, bank or crypto?
by

I like bank better yo store my money because the safety is guaranteed and your money won't go anywhere, your only problem is that the value of your money will lose slowly to inflation. In crypto it is more like investment where the value grows but you also have higher risk and the security is very important.

Re: All the bounty tokens can be sold?
by
shiningstar
on 21/09/2018, 16:19:16 UTC
Every coin can be sold as long as there's buy order for them, most bounty token is erc20 token so you should check forkdelta to see if there's buy order or not, if there's no buy order then too bad you can't sell it, maybe the project isn't that good so there's no people that are interested in buying that coin.

Re: binance or folkdelta or bancor

Binance without a doubt is the best exchange among the three of them. If you want a great trading volume and a good selection of coin then you should choose binance, but if you want to trade potential erc20 token then forkdelta is the best place to so that. I haven't use Bancor so i can't say anything about that.

You can do nothing with them so you can just leave them in your wallet and there won't be a problem as your wallet can't be full, if you want your wallet to be free of useless coin then you can send it to the burn address. I do that sometimes when there's too much useless token in my wallet.

Re: Altcoin prices now the real price?
by
shiningstar
on 14/09/2018, 16:32:31 UTC
Most of them is still overpriced in my opinion consider the state of the project and most of them hasn't release their platform yet while still having big marketcap. But in crypto the price is solely depends on the demand and supply so i guess most people invest in the potential of the project that's why the demand is still a lot.

I agree that you have to learn from your mistake to prevent more mistake in the future. I also made several mistake in my early crypto days like sending to the wrong deposit adress, almost lose my private key, made several bad trades but i learnerd from that mistakes and right now i am quite good in crypto.

Re: Many projects are dead?
by

Most of the projects on coinmarketcap are old pow coin with no development and they haven't remove them so of course there's gonna be a lot of dead projects, but there's also a lot of icos from last year that haven't release their platform or even the demo and i think soon most of them will be considered dead too.

Re: Optimistic Attitude
by

on 11/09/2018, 15:06:45 UTC
I am optimistic for the long run but for the short term i am quite pessimistic as i think we will go much lower than this before the cycle restart. I am not worried though as i already cash out most of my coin and now i am waiting for the opportunity to enter again. The one that's worried are the one that bought at the top and still holding until now.

Re: If your coin increased 40% - 200% in value over night. What would you do?
by
shiningstar
on 07/09/2018, 16:46:58 UTC
Do you continue hodling or sell? A lot of people say to hold no matter what happens and I'm not advocating daytrading but I think in a situation like this, it'd be advantageous to sell.

Thoughts? What would you do?
I will sell it of course as something that go up that much will have a pullback sooner or later, if that kind of thing happen than there must be a great reason behind it, if there's nothing then it's just a pump and it's best to sell and wait until the price goes down again to buyback your coin.

Re: BUY a rating on ICObench
by

on 04/09/2018, 12:09:33 UTC
I never used ico site and i don't trust them either as i don't know if they give objective review regarding the project or not. The only time i open an ico rating site is when i want to look at the list of upcoming icos and they usually list them all. If you want to invest then it's definitely better to do the research yourself rather than regretting it later.

Re: Is it going to pass $20k again?
by
shiningstar
on 01/09/2018, 16:12:46 UTC
If you are talking about this year then it's unlikely for bitcoin to pass 20k again as it's a bit far and there's only four month left until the end of the year, but in the long term the price will surpass its ath and create a new high so if you are planning to hold for a long time then it's fine to enter right now.

Re: Should I buy BItcoin or Litecoin
by
shiningstar
on 31/08/2018, 16:34:55 UTC
If i have to choose between the two then it's certainly bitcoin, litecoin is like a poor version of bitcoin and I don't think right now it's that popular as it has no advantages compared to bitcoin and isn't the dev sell his litecoin for bitcoin? If he really believe in his coin then surely he won't sell it. It's one of a high marketcap crypto that living off it's early time advantage.

Re: Will banks disappear because of cryptocurrency?
by
shiningstar
on 30/08/2018, 05:48:38 UTC
No they won't, crypto is still new and it will take a long time until there will be adoption and bank won't be that stupid to wait and do nothing. They will find a way to implement blockchain to their system and stay relevant for the future and it's not like people will leave bank once crypto is here, bank is useful for a lot of things.

Re: Which is more important for us, more investment (ETF) or more adoption?
by
shiningstar
on 26/08/2018, 17:03:32 UTC
In my opinion if etf get accepted then a lot of money will flow into crypto and that will make the adoption easier as the media coverage will help spread the word, but that doesn't mean the situation is bad if etf is rejected, it's just adoption will happen slower but we will be there in the end.

Re: 4 reason ICO market problem today
by
shiningstar
on 24/08/2018, 12:09:55 UTC
Overvaluation seems like the problem since last year, when i get into crypto most of the ico project only collect about 1 million usd from the ico and the demand for the coin is high that's why the price can go up a lot at exchange, now they collect a lot more and start with a huge marketcap already so it's hard for the price to go up.

Re: Where do you store your tokens?
by
shiningstar
on 24/08/2018, 06:26:01 UTC
I store my crypto on hardware wallet if the crypto itself is supported by the hardware wallet. If not then i will use the official wallet to store them, for token they are all in my ledger as it's safer that way, i've used it for a long time and it's worth to have because there's a lot of hacking case in crypto.

Re: I have received some tokens. Should I sell or hold?
by
shiningstar
on 22/08/2018, 12:33:38 UTC
You should get a job because that's not a reliable source of income. If you rely solely on bounty to feed you and your family then i don't think you are in a good condition to hold your token. You can hold your token and wait for a better price if you have the opportunity to do that but you shouldn't force it if you can't.
