What will you do if RaiBlocks gets pumped to 10x it's current price and a flood of new claimers comes in?  Take steps to reduce the threshold again?

Damn it.  Ok, so I have been periodically checking for the PoS fix.  I downloaded the first "fixed" wallet, synced up, and went to sleep figuring my stakes would roll in overnight.  Well I woke up, and it was pretty obvious I was off on a fork.  I come back to the thread, and now there is a second fixed wallet, because apparently I wasn't the only one with this issue.  So I get the latest fixed client, delete the blockchain, and proceed to sync up.  Can anyone guess what happens next?  Yeah, my coins are gone now.  Possibly forever lost on a phantom fork?  I don't know, usually when this happens with a PoS coin, once I redownload the blockchain and get on the correct fork my coins reappear.

It was something like 7370 or 7870 coins, and all about to stake so a conservative estimate calls it about 10k TEK lost.

And no, I didn't back up my wallet.dat before running the first "fixed" wallet.  I know, that part is my fuck up and I should know better but yeah, I never felt like there was a danger of losing my coins and was just trying to sync as fast as possible and get to sleep.

Any suggestions?

Ok, I admit, this is one of those coins I have heard about but kept putting off reading into it further.  All I can say is I LOVE what I see, and am just stunned the price is so low.  I guess these PoW coins don't get to go up overnight since whales can't control the entire supply.  I just wish I had more BTC to invest with at the moment.

Thats not even in the ballpark of whats wrong here.  Blockchain isn't moving because no one is opening their wallets because their wallets won't stay synced.  Ok, watch, I'm gonna open my wallet after I redownload the blockchain again.  All my coins will want to stake immediately, and I'll be off on my own chain within a couple hours.

Dynamic stake interest is cool, but if that is the issue right now just take it out and release a working wallet with flat interest for now.  It can be changed back later when it works right.  I don't understand what is so hard here.

In all seriousness, I am interested but call me paranoid, it is a good quality to have around here.  I have individually reverse image searched every photo in the ANN, and nothing was stolen from anywhere else as far as I can tell so thats a +1 for you guys.  Tried searching for you guys on google, linkedin, and facebook and found a Lucas Macek who is an IT engineer from the Czech Republic, don't know if that's you but it's possible so I have another +1 reserved if you can confirm it is you.

Besides that, the Lucas Macek who dominated most of my google search was some politician of some sort.  Guess he is a big deal.  Nikolas Berg was beheaded by islamist terrorists a few years back, so that dominated most of the google results.  And Tomas Nemar is a famous soccer player so that dominated my google search.

I guess if I were orchestrating a scam, choosing names of people that are famous for other things, but not exactly household names would be a good way to hide your true identity.  It ensures anyone who gets inquisitive enough to look will give up quickly as I did because it's hard to find much on anyone with these names beyond the semi-obscure yet semi-famous people who share those names.

Not calling this coin a scam, it looks decent, but if you are willing to show your faces and reveal your names anyway, might as well link us to a linkedin profile or something that proves who you are and that these are your real names.

difficulty just kicked up to 0.25, hopefully things begin to stabilize.

I've had no problem syncing as long as I move my wallet with coins elsewhere, start up a fresh download of the blockchain with 0 coins in my wallet, then close the client and move my wallet with coins back.  Problem is it doesn't stay like that, I will stay synced for a few hours and then I go off on my own chain.

I'm still here watching this thing.  I have like 80k I mined at launch, this looked promising so I held, and now they aren't going anywhere for the time being.  Caught a dump of 100k PESA on bittrex at 100 satoshis, risk/reward ratio felt right if this coin can ever get back on track.  If nothing else, release a wallet with a flat 2% interest or whatever just so the market can be reopened at bittrex and people can move their coins.  The dev team can play around with perfecting the dynamic interest system all they want after that.

I can see you are having some issues with the pool.  Yeah, this thing is gonna be a beast to manage until the difficulty adjusts.  Upped my donation to 3.0%, hope it helps.

Not saying I am gonna try to outbid you, I tend to take a riskier approach to trading and hold for a pump rather than dump cheaply for a few slivers of BTC.  But I am not the only one mining.  Honestly, if you are legit and this coin is legit, and the IPO was to be used for development, you are probably better off keeping those 1 million coins and calling it a premine.  Pay out coins for bounties and sell some on the market as needed.  There are too many coins mined right now, someone is gonna outbid your IPO price.  At this point the free market decides the price of the coin.

Better get a pool up or you are never selling those IPO coins, with the slow difficulty retargeting and low difficulty, anyone soloing right now is likely to outbid your IPO price.

I lost 1.5 BTC on this scam, but at least you put a smile on my face at the end of it all!

Yeah, updates would be nice.  I imagine there isn't much to update us on because if this project is still alive it is moving along at a snails pace.  At least the difficulty is low.  I'm shooting to mine 1 million and then I will sit back and see how this progresses.
