I am planning to open an account in Gate.io but I want to hear your opinion first about your experiences using this exchange, positive or negative otherwise. They lists lots of Metaverse/Gaming tokens that I like to buy (Atlas, UFO etc..) which are not available in Binance, Kucoin and Coinbase.

I recently saw this Tiktok video of a young Filipino guy who brags (rightfully so) that he has 25 scholars in Axie Infinity and was able to invest 1 GALA node license. Investing a GALA node requires a minimum of at least 60K GALA tokens. GALA token pumped so hard recently which reach an ATH of $0.46 from a low of $.09 a week ago. Siguro karamihan sa atin nakapansin recently that while Bitcoin, Ethereum and most of the cryptocurrencies were down, Metaverse/Play-To Earn tokens were going on a different directions, some even reached an ATH.


I think the safest way is to invest in Metaverse/Play-To Earn tokens  listed in BINANCE. They have a  high standards in listing tokens compared to others. If you want to take risks with possibility of high rewards, check out the Metaverse/Play-To Earn tokens listed in KUCOIN. They lists lots of tokens.

The riskiest but with highest possibilities of rewards are to invest directly in such platforms as BSC, UNISWAP, etc....

Security Steps You Can Take To Defend Your Assets ( as provided in the CoinbaseBlog)

• Be wary of airdrop tokens received from an unknown source. It is highly likely these unsolicited tokens are part of a phishing campaign.
• Do not visit or connect self-custody wallets to any websites advertised by airdropped tokens through error messages, token names, or other methods.
• Do not interact with airdropped tokens (e.g. approving, transferring, swapping, etc.). As annoying as it sounds, it’s best to just leave them sitting in your wallet.
• Do not hold high value assets in the same wallet used to regularly interact with Dapps. Use cold storage or custodial solutions such freely available Coinbase Vault or Custody.

• It has an interesting back story

Scam Style: Sending Fake-Notification

It is a heartbreaking story of a Coinbase user who bought 200 bitcoins and then later on received a notification that
his account had been locked and need to call the number provided to unlock it.

 Anyone heard of this? SQUID, A play-to-earn cryptocurrency based on a popular Netflix series "The Squid Game". Producers of the series distances themselves from the project and advise not to invest in it.


This is an absurd project that gives cryptocurrency a bad name. More than 43K bought the squid currency and probably will not recover their investment. The scammers got away with an estimated $3.38m.
