Re: is there a possibility that Ethereum will reach $200 this year?

from $600 to $500 and going down every day is there a possibility that Eth will reach $200 this year? is there really a price manipulation like the conspiracy about tether what do you guys think?

It might be possible of we are to talk about possibilities. And since the market is being a jerk for most people here, then dropping to 200 might just be. However, I believe that we won't go as low as that. We are in the Q3 of 2018 and either we will be stable or we will see some bulls running.

Re: Maybe EOS will dump their ETH!
by
skorupi17
on 08/07/2018, 13:22:15 UTC
They might as well.
ETH might go to 380 USD if BTC goes below 7K
That is my valuation: Opinion
If things got really bad ETH could be worth >300 USD

Unlikely to happen. Why would you dump ETH for EOS though? And I don't think that BTC will go below $7K. That's the bottom that I'm going to see so I expecting it to go up once we touch it, worst case situation. However, the bottom for me is $7200, and I have no doubt that it will go to $7K.

But the likely scenario of ETH fanboys dumping it in favor of EOS? Nah, EOS will not be the ETH killer that most of you guys wanted to see it. ETH has a lot of investors and I doubt that they will leave in favor of EOS.

I am talking about the founders of EOS selling their ETH Booty!

This would be a great scheme for them. Many are saying that EOS will overtake ETH and if EOS do this, others may shift to EOS. However, this is a desperate move. If ever ETH dumps, this will just be a temporary dump. ETH has more supporters than EOS. Dumping their ETH might be a bad decision IMHO.

Re: What do you think 1 ETH in USD when about 2020 ?
by

on 07/07/2018, 14:10:46 UTC
hi guys, just wondering any one can think of the price in USD for one ETH when we reach 2020? and please give some explanation. Your input will be appreciate.

You are aware that predicting the future is very difficult and all replies here are tied to anyone's mere opinion, right? So here comes  Roll Eyes

I strongly believe that the price would be around $10,000. 2020 is the year when the next halving will occur. Many will wait for this opportunity. When Bitcoin halves then many will buy massive Bitcoins and will propel the market high. Ethereum will join this ride, of course.

Re: Do you trust ERC20 tokens?
by
skorupi17
on 07/07/2018, 13:57:02 UTC
Last year in early december I bought eBitcoin token which turned out to be a scam. Luckily for me I sold them before the ePRX snapshot but alot others have made losses. I really believed this token would be a succes but I've realized that alot of these ERC20 tokens have the same things in common. The devs (or better said scammers) create alot of hype and pretend their token to be the real deal while they never intended to create a working product. I've thought about investing in tokens like Credits and Elixir but I'm afraid they are all the same kind of scam.

Do you trust them?

ERC20 tokens are legit as legit as Ethereum is. The only scam here is the one who launches the project or ICO. Ethereum cannot identify who will scam so it cannot restrict people from generating ERC20 tokens. Blaming ERC20 tokens is just like saying Bitcoin is a scam because people are using it to scam. This is a wrong way of understanding the situation.

Re: There are too many ICOs
by

There so many ICOs coming out everyday. The market can't support thousands of ICOS. This has to  stop.

ICOs will not stop, well not yet. We might see ICOs for the following years but it will be lessen because government will definitely regulate ICOs due to the increasing number of scam ICOs. I've read an article before that states the massive ICOs will be the cause of collapse in Ethereum's network. It might be true but I haven't think about how will it cause collapse.

Re: Did you agree that for crypto to continue growing we need a large huge volume??
by

Did you agree that In order for cryptocurrencies to start growing again, institutional money need to enter the market making the prices soar - That may will cause an  increase in volume, making the big players re-enter the market followed by the new wave of adopters. Wink

Theoretically, this is true. It will definitely make the price increase significantly. However, this move might get ugly if the institution's intention is to manipulate the market. Demand is great for the market but I want the demand to come from individual person. Institutional money is good but it's not as good as group of people investing in cryptocurrency with the same amount of money the institution will give.

Re: Altcoin investment?
by

Recently, I'm more and more convinced that in such a bad market it's too risky to invest in altcoins. In most cases, they either immediately lose the price, or depreciate after 1-2 weeks ... I invested in the innovative project Pchain and it fell 3 times in price ...

That depends on your time bracket. If you are looking at short term investment then bad market could be hell for you. But if you are looking for a long term investment, considering that you are to invest in a well established coin, the a bad market, such as the current market, could be a blessing for you.

Re: Is this the time for a comeback for crypto?
by
skorupi17
on 05/07/2018, 19:11:01 UTC
We've seen coins goes down, and up in the market,
but since the last two days crypto stabilized,
are we going to see the coins upward or this is just a big trap for us
while rich names gathers all the good coins and left us with shitcoins in the market
what are your calls for this one i hope we share knowledges for everyone

Q3 - Q4 of the year is the best time to comeback to crypto because the price is always bullish at tose moments.
I'm sure this year will create new all time high

I agree that those quarters of the year is when the excitement in cryptocurrency market starts to get crazy. Q4 is the most chaotic part but Q3 is essential since this is when the momentum build up.

I do not expect a new all time high this year. Not that I am not hoping for it but it just feels like the market is so cold this year. Last year was a great year because the knowledge about cryptocurrency exploded. This year is nothing more of an aftershock from the recent earthquake.

Re: Can Ethereum market value reach $11,000 before end of December this year?
by
skorupi17
on 05/07/2018, 16:40:36 UTC
Base on the experts speculation ...

Experts? Oh c'mon. There are many self claimed and "so called" experts out there that are not far from regular cryptocurrency enthusiast so why believe them?

... Bitcoin will reach  $50,000 before end of December this year, 2018 ...

Not want to be a bitter cold guy but this is delusional. Optimism is great but we have to take a look at the reality and the price is very much of over-optimism.

... and as you guys will agree with me that increase in the market value of Bitcoin will lead to increase in the market value of Ethereum. Do you think ethereum will grow up to $11,000 before end of December this year...

Since the $50,000 is delusional, this $11,000 for Ethereum is also delusional. I'll call $3,000. Tops.

... In addition to the speculation, i strongly believe that encouraging new investors will go a long way to actualize the growth up to the said amount. Do you believe so?

New investors might fuel the rocket but it will just be s short hike. Do not expect too much.

no it cant

This is the summary of my answer. LOL.

Re: What coin do I need to invest in
by
skorupi17
on 30/06/2018, 07:21:09 UTC
Please I want to invest in some coin but it seems that the market are red which coin should I buy now

Due to the instability of the market recently, investing in a coin has been a tough decision for most people in here. The market is not to be trusted in terms of its direction. So if you want to invest in a coin, consider investing in a coin that has proven itself in this market. Bitcoin, Ethereum, Bitcoin Cash, Litecoin, Monero and just some of these coins you can count on and have less worry about your profitability.

Re: Exchange it or Hold it
by

Knowing that you could get free coins from Airdrops, would you exchange it once you got the coins or hold it until the vslue rises up?

These days, airdrop coins or tokens rarely increase in price specifically those who offers pure airdrop. However, if the project projects of a great goal, perhaps we can see the coin increase in value. But to stay in a safe place, I suggest you to exchange these coins as soon as possible. These are free coins so get the best of it and do not get greedy. Waiting for too long could make you lose opportunity.

Re: Good Weekend or just a pump?
by
skorupi17
on 30/06/2018, 05:44:17 UTC
Theoretically, the current surge is both just a pump and also a good weekend. I believe that this is just a pump since nothing solid supports this surge. Without a solid foundation and support could latter cause a collapse in the price. Although this is just a pump, this is a good opportunity for day traders to gain so much. Thus I consider this as a good weekend also.

Re: Panic selling.
by
skorupi17
on 29/06/2018, 17:31:57 UTC
How do panic selling affects the market and why does it affects the coins value?

Panic selling is a mass selling due to a bad news and people thinks that the price will crash because of it so they take precautionary measures by selling their coins. From the mass selling, we can conclude that the demand for the coin drastically crashes. And since the price is based from the law of supply and demand, low demand means low price.

Re: Electroneum in 2018 ?
by

on 28/06/2018, 15:47:30 UTC
Hi All,

What are u thinking about Electroneum in 2018 ? can u pls share your opinions.

Considering that the number of mobile miners are constantly increasing, thus the number of its supporters is increasing. However, The mobile mining seems to be the cause of hold-back for ETN. Many are acquiring ETN without buying and without buying means no demand. 2018 might just be like what ETN is in now. Well, based from the ETN team, their projected moon for ETN is in 5 years so just hoard them for now.

Re: why the price of crypto coins is different ??
by
skorupi17
on 28/06/2018, 14:36:15 UTC
In my heart there are a few questions that until now have not been solved or maybe from other members there are also like me. my question is why the price of some crypto from one exchanger to another is different, for example coin A in binance 2$ and in one of the other exchange coin A is 2.1$, it's a little bit difference, whereas coin is same, it should be coin same price must be the same.
what's your opinion all about sir?

The price of a certain coin or token is driven by the community. Exchanges are just bridges for the community or people and the coins and tokens. People decides how much they want to pay for a certain coin. This is common in all exchanges that exists. The exchanges have no control over this since they are just the intermediary party. So if a person A wants to sell coin A for $2 then he can sell that coin in any exchange for $2, same way if person B wants to sell his coin A for $2.1 then he can also sell them for $2.1 in any exchange. The problem is not the exchange, it is the people selling.

Re: Games using cryptocurrencies?
by
skorupi17
on 27/06/2018, 14:19:07 UTC
Do you know any game which actually uses cryptocurrency? I saw a lot of coins which promise this, but usually It ends up in being scams.

Games are for fun, but It would be more satisfying to have a valuable currency for games.

I have seen also many cryptocurrency that is based in gaming. There is an ICO that was launched just months ago and they were successful. The ICO I am saying is Playkey. They are already listed in some exchanges including HitBTC and Playkey (PKT) is already listed in CoinMarketCap. The Playkey team is in constant work in implementing the usage of their token into their gaming platform. This is a great project IMHO.

Re: Good or bad idea!!!!
by

on 27/06/2018, 13:58:55 UTC
Its good to invest money in cryptos or to invest it in share market.Which one is good and which one is bad idea!!

Both, for me, is a good idea. Investing your money is a wise thing to do in order to earn passive income. Just be sure to invest in a good quality coin, in the part of cryptocurrency, and in a well known and strong stock market. The only bad idea there is if you invest in a bad coin or stock market or you invest without researching. It is crucial to have at least a little knowledge about investing and going in without a plan or something could be devastating.

Re: Do you trust celebrities endorsing cryptocurrencies?
by
skorupi17
on 24/06/2018, 13:56:57 UTC
I want to hear other people's opinion if you would trust celebrities endorsing cryptocurrencies.

There's nothing wrong about this one since this is a part of marketing. Celebrity endorsement has no bearing, in reality, if we are talking about the capability of that coin. This is more of marketing and nothing more. Although endorsement from well known celebrity could help the price increase, this is an unhealthy increase. Expert or well experienced traders will join this hype and then weak hands follows. After the experienced traders made their cut, they will just sell out and then the market crashes.

Re: What can you say about the low price of bitcoin and altcoins today?
by
skorupi17
on 24/06/2018, 13:35:50 UTC
So many predictions around, so many reasons why bitcoin and altcoins price went so low from December 2017.

What do u think are the real reasons why?

The market has behaved this way based from the history of cryptocurrency for no particular reason so why wonder if the market is behaving this way again. Most are just being too hasty about the increase because they are anxious to see their profit growing. We just peaked last December and the peak price is really high. We cannot expect the price to go up at all times.

Re: Some ICO is not scam
by
skorupi17
on 22/06/2018, 13:52:00 UTC
Hello, let me clear this doubt some people said that all ICO is a scam but I don't believe them because I have invested in some ICO and make a good fortune, let me give you some clue to invest.
1. When you want to invest first of all research about the particular ico you want to invest in, try to check their Whitepaper because some ICO copy text from another ICO white papers
2. Try to check their LinkedIn profile though that does'nt matter because some fake LinkedIn profile.
3.Try to know their real location even though some use VPN to hide their location.
4.website professional matters a lot because some don't even know how to build website and they are claiming that they are in to Blockchain
5. Despite all this..involving in ICO is a big risk

Nobody said that all ICOs are scam. If all of them are scam then why the hell people would invest? If somebody did even mention about classifying all ICO as scam then he/she might be either just being sarcastic or exaggerated or he/she is so ignorant.
Most ICOs are scam, only a few are legit and from that few legit, only a portion of that is worth to invest in. ICO investment has higher risk than gambling/
