People create their own coin out of necessity, the blockchain technology is useful and cut across other businesses/sector of the economy. Although this seems to be a recent trends, the more ideas that involves blockchain, the more ICO's thus more coins in the market.
And you know ideas can't just cease, but some ideas/project are just copycat.

Due to unstable price of market, Is it now the best time to sell all the holdings of altcoin and revert it back to tether for safe mode? Will the price of each altcoin keeps going down? Please can anyone reach me on this.
All we need is to be patient and wait for the rising altcoin prices.If you have more capital, try to buy it once again (back up) it can save you from losses too deep.
Suppose you buy the coin at 7000 satoshi price and back up at 3000 Satoshi, we can get profit if sell above 4500.

The third point is rather related to trading, rather than to investment. One of the main rules of investing is portfolio diversification. Do not invest the whole portfolio in 1-2 assets.

Why are you against Russian crypto projects? Interested to hear your about your previous experiences!
ICO scammers are professional and smart individuals also. They do more thorough researches than most of investors and they are really expert in what they do. So to avoid those scammers i think all the suggestions being posted in this forum should be considered by the future ico investors especially the due diligence in researching all the aspects of the prospective ico. And yes knowledge in crypto currencies would be helpful for us to be able to assess the legitimacy of a certain ICO.
Do your research... check out their community... most coins have strong discord community... go to their discord, observe for a few days... good luck with your choices.

How I am managing my little fund is long term for my bigger investments and day trading for the smaller portion of my funds.
I spend 80% my fund for BTC, ETH and use 20% to day trade altcoins.

Btc and eth for a long term is a good choice. They will definitely give a good profit in the future. In the case of daily trading, I would look for coins that have the potential for a rapid price increase. Then you can earn a lot and quickly.
