I can't seem to get the new coinbase API to work. On the API import page it shows "key invalid" under "running jobs" even though I followed instructions when creating API and adding it to CoinTracking. Had it working before (old version) then it stopped doing automatic imports,  I went to check to see what's up and then learned about new API version so I created new one and deleted old one per instructions but can't get it to work and still shows "key invalid". Redid whole process with same result.

Anybody get this to work or know any tricks to get it functioning?

This is ridiculous! I've been blocked from my account and no response?

I did receive one response from Cointracking facebook page messenger telling me to open a support ticket which of course I cannot do because I cannot access the site. I replied telling them that but have heard nothing in since.

I need access to my info as I'm the process of working on taxes which is why I bought this program to begin with. What a time for this to happen and for Cointracking team to go AWOL here!

I'm all about security measures but when it goes wonky and I can't access my own data there has to be support measures in place. What other recourse do I have other than to complain here?

Im beginning to worry that my data has been compromised. I can't see it but who can?

PLEASE RESPOND

Ive been blocked out of my account, when trying to log in I received the following message:

"You have been BLOCKED because of evil or suspicious bot behavior.
If you are a human, please let us know and we will unlock you immediately."

Well, here I am doing that, please unblock me.

I think this may have occurred while I was using the iPhone app, does this happen sometimes or do I need to be worried about someone attempting hack?

Is there an easy way to find a balance in an exchange at a certain date/time?

Some of my balances are are reading a bit off from where they actually are due to some sloppy manual entries I made in the past and I'm trying to correct them. Being able to do this would do a lot to help track them down. It would be great if individual transactions were linked to exchange balances to show changes at time of trade, perhaps this is possible already somehow but cant seem to find it.

Thanks

Hi, a couple of questions:

Any chance you may add price alert functions at some point?

I can't seem to find iPhone app on app store, status?

Thanks, Stephen

Hi, today my Blockcat coins are showing up as Catcoin. I had previously entered them as CAT2 and all was working fine. All of a sudden today they show as Catcoin with associated prices. Tried editing transactions but no avail. Any ideas?

Thanks, Stephen
Sorry, seems like there was a problem with the duplicate "CAT" ticker.
It's fixed now.
CAT = Catcoin
CAT2 = Blockcat

Wow, that was quick, thanks!

Thanks for trying but still not working for me, the BTH does show up in both Balance by exchange and also in Summary but shows a zero balance, weird.

Hey @smartinuf,

thank you for getting in touch with us and for your interest.

As I see, you´ve tried to enter "BTH" (Guess you mean BCH) as an ICO Coin/Asset with a custom value.
But you did not enter a value in the summary. It´s not going to work this way.

@afterfiat Thank you very much for going into this and for trying to explain it. Awesome.  Smiley

Best regards,
Keven

Wow, thanks! I don't where I got "BTH" from but that was it, duh! Not enough sleep and cryptos aren't compatible yet but look out when they are, ha. Thanks All !

Hi, new to cointracking and am enjoying it so far. Im trying to add BCH "the easy way" on the "enter coins" page but the values in USD don't seem to show up. I think Im probably missing something here.

Will you be adding automatic pricing from date and time for BCH soon?
I haven't "dealt with" BCH in my data yet, but I thought I'd take a look in case it helps...

1. Enter Coins / Overview & Manual Import
2. New
3. Transaction Type = [In] General Deposit (Transfer)
4. Deposit: Amount=1, Currency=BCH
5. Exchange=test123
6. Add transaction
7. Dashboard
8. "click here to recalculate your data"
9. Balance by Exchange

"test123 Balance" shows 1 BCH = 337.11 USD

Seems to be working.

Thanks for trying but still not working for me, the BTH does show up in both Balance by exchange and also in Summary but shows a zero balance, weird.

Hi Dario,

During the recent Bitcoin split, I've held my Bitcoins in the Bitcoin Core wallet. Now I'm asking myself how I should enter the additional BCH coins I can claim into CoinTracking. Can you provide some guidance?

Thanks.
Hey taipalag,

I can recommend these 2 methods to enter your BCH:

1) The easy way:
Add your BCH as "gift" with a cost basis of 274.59 USD per coin (the initial price on August 1st).
