This should finalize things. There was one person who requested that they not be paid. I plan to shred the wallet as that seems to be the most sensible thing to do with coins that are unwanted and don't belong to me.

Most people should have already been fully repaid. This payment settles with the people who delayed in making a claim.

If you believe you should have received a payment and never have, please contact me soon. smickles@smickles.com

Okay, I am undecided now  Huh

Mircea posts some intelligent thoughts in the blog, and I kind of admire him/her? for doing things that others haven't been doing. But after all that porn, negative p/l statements what comes to actual, incorporated businesses, and paying people to post under fake accounts, what should I be trusting? (Also s/he has not commented on my idea, how to structure a bitcoin company, I put it there to probe his/her IQ, and so far I am dissatisfied with no answer, other than one-liners calling me "a nobody with nothing", despite powerful evidence to the contrary.)

If there is anyone who actually owns the shares in S.MPOE, how about showing up to give the thing some credit? I think it would be good for the prospects of your shares. I have considered shorting it in a serious way, which would destroy your value.

There is a realistic possibility to me, that S.MPOE is in fact not owned by many actual individuals, rather than by few with multiple forum and bitcoin accounts. So please, consider my offer and be forewarned. I am just a messenger.

I know big boys are entering the bitcoin arena now, and no matter whether these suspicions of mine prove out to be correct or not, I do not see much chance for S.MPOE to beat BTC in the years coming. (BTC should be doing great.)
I have at least 100k shares for you to borrow for your short. PM me, we can work out terms.

That offer open to everyone?
It is open to anyone who I can trust to not scam me.

I wonder how shorting a stock on a guys own exchange would work. Since it has pretty much been all pump might be worth while if the terms gave enough time. Sooner or later he or greater fools will run out of BTC.
I've already successfully enabled others to short S.MPOE. Most of them profited by it. It's anecdotal, but that's how it's worked in the past.

Re: SatoshiDICE.com - The World's Most Popular Bitcoin Game

Excuse me, but how is Random Number Generator of SatoshiDice.com works? What is maximum number? 64001?
iirc, the random number generation of satoshidice is done by taking the trailing few numbers of a hash of your transaction which sent the bet and plus the secret number.

Quote from: SatoshiDice.com
The lucky number used to determine the winner of games is simple. It is simply the first bytes of hmac_sha512(secert,txid:out_idx). That would be the secret string as the key and the transaction ID of your bet transaction as the data.

I thought till now that nefario had release all info. The best bet for you would be to try to get him on the phone. The number is still valid i think and sometimes people have luck to getting him on the line. But its hard to get in contact with him anyway.
I've had no luck getting the shareholder information for MPOE.ETF via personal email, support email, or phone. Thing is, I did receive shareholder information for SS. :/

Positioning of the different text should be worked on - don't center the 1d/7d/30d data (it doesn't align nicely), for the options I think a "table" would work better.
When you say 'for the options', which screen are you talking about. Do you perhaps mean the 'market' screen, or an individual option's detail page?

Thanks for the input. Cheesy
An individual option's detail page - so you can look through a column faster!

Btw, is that Holo on ubuntu?
Ok, I am currently redoing the alignment of text throughout the app for improved readability.

Also, it looks a lot like Holo because I intend to package this for Linux, Windows, Mac, and Android and I wanted to maintain the look and feel across all platforms. So Android came out as the 'least common denominator'.

My suspicion is that MPEX is down so people don't pull money to cash out on the price hike.
mpex isn't down, just that url

try http://mpex.coinbr.com or any of the other proxies

I have just sent a payment.
Code:
f3891f96741ff1772229f1ce8ddcbf0752054ed29f95d9ed0521fcb19e013360
.
This should be your final payment as we do not expect to receive any amount of bitcoins for our remaining assets.

If you have not submitted a claim, I encourage you to do so soon.

Note: One claimant requested that we keep what we owe them. I used it as the fee for this transaction.

Incidentally, how's the font look in the table inside the 'quote' above?  It's much easier to read than the one I usually use, but does it show up well for you too?
It comes out as 'Source Code Pro' for me, so it looks like the best font out there Cheesy

2. BITVPS (33,848 shares)
Jan 27th update - BitVPS fell apart, was delisted from MPEX, and bought by Namworld. We have no news and no money. The end.
This cannot be true. The asset will be delisted. It is currently still trading. You should've been receiving dividends this whole time, including one which represented your shares due portion of the sale. AND, it has been stated that they are moving to BTCT.CO unless there are objections.

Your link indicates you are in north carolina. So you are complying with all of http://www.ncleg.net/enactedlegislation/sessionlaws/html/1981-1982/sl1981-282.html? Which means you have 9 other partners hundreds of thousands of dollars (minimum) and all deposits can be withdrawn in US legal tender (as per the regulation)?

Wow, I'm surprised at how lax credit union regulation is where you are. Where I am, to be 100% legal, I'd have to have at least 4 other partners who each put up millions of USD as collateral. (among many other compliance issues)
