We are not affiliated with edu.one. The swap of Edu v1 -> Edu v2 has long since ended.

Yes, 25 million is correct. We've made the first block worth 25 Million to reduce the old EduCoin v1 supply at about a 5000:1 ratio.
The address with the 25 million coins currently has 3 outbound transactions.
1. We sent 10 as a test to the swap server to verify again everything is working as designed.
2. We sent 10%, 2.5 million to the swap server to begin the swap.
3. We sent a second transaction of 10%, 2.5 million to the swap server when roughly 400k coins we're left from the 1st transaction of 2.5 million.
The rest of the coins are currently in cold storage.
There's roughly 2.8 million left on the server to be swapped.
I will post the address of the coins when I get back to my work station.

I hope dev or team quickly respond to this issue and solve it.
You need to load your old educoin v1 wallet.dat in the old educoin wallet. Once you have the old wallet and new v2 wallet synced up, you can use our website to swap the coins.

Can we all try to contact suprnova!! We need a pro mining pool!! I noticed almost 60 GH/s SOLOMINING!
Unfortunately, big pools like suprnova works for fee's with coins that cost any amount of BTC on exchanges (the more the better). I think that if EDU won't traded on any exchanges in near future, than we must find lesser pools for a start.
We have been discussing this in depth in our slack channel.
This is a struggle because exchanges like cryptopia even just upped their listing fees to what seem to be astronomical prices. We are trying to determine the best way to approach this. I extend an invite to everybody to participate in our slack!

This is 100% something we are thinking about. Obviously we could easily just throw a coin up on YoBit and get things moving however we are constantly thinking about what our actions convey to the community. We are trying to create something that is MORE than just a coin.
Both of you are right. Your goals are noble and valuable in itself, but electricity costs fiat, mining staff like CPU's, GPU's and ASIC's costs fiat and free time costs something more. No profit = no interes from the miner's crowd, less chance to draw public attention and find investors and achieve your goals.

solo mining is difficult with this nethash. When will be a pool ready for mining?
maybe it has some mistakes in code, pool don't count blocks although client found blocks, some reports above and devs ignore it with their silent. 
The Keccak from Maxcoin appears to need a specific configuration in order or work properly.
