Greed? This is capitalism, its BUILT on greed.

Anyway, sweet bait and switch. They could just as easily limit registrations. Wont be back and I'll tell everyone how shitty they are.

Is the realtime hashrate calculator still messed up? I am only showing 65 k/h when im mining 1.2 mhash

It should work fine. There must be something wrong if the difference is so high. Did you try to restart your miners and make sure they haven't switched to some other backup pool?

I just reset them so we will see. They were reporting fine, though.

32/32 so far christian :-) looking good

I am at 98% acceptance with the 3 GTX 780 Ti cards running as one worker. Excellent. Previously they hovered around 83%

I can confirm the same. Thanks very much!

Weird, my fastest worker (3 GTX 780Ti ~ 540 MHash) gets just 80% accepted shares on max.netcodepool.org, but the other workers (300 MHash and 178 MHash) get 96% and 98% accepted.  Unusual.

Christian.

Yeah, my two gtx 780's are at 80% accepted as well.

Instances or workers? I can try different workers. They are running in two separate instances right now, pointed to the same worker.

At the risk of sounding like too much like a noob, is there a great tutorial to show me the way to compile windows binaries off of the git? I'd like to clear up some of these Boo's. I'm about 80% efficient using two GTX 780's on smalltimeminer. Thank you Christian for all the hard work. I'm also having to run two instances of cudaminer.

edit: In case anyone wants to know Cheesy

Quite easy:
Get Visual Studio Pro 2010 (Trial if you must)
Get Cuda SDK 5.5
Get the source code from github (google cudaminer)
Exctract source code in it's own folder
Get libraries from first post by Christian (almost 50mb)
Extract libraries to the same folder that the source code folder is in, so not to the source code folder but one up.
Open the .sln file in the source code with Visual Studio.
Select which version you want to compile, and compile it
Oh come on, atleast credit me ¬¬

u srs m8? your post is right after mine. I CREDIT THEE SIR

It really was you who tipped me off. I edited my post because of this 5 minute post limitation. Thank yoU!

reading you guys getting at each others I sometimes wonder how old you are....
that's probably because i'm older though.

Don't waste time answering to what you don't like and focus on what you do (like) Wink

i am 39 and asshole chubner1 is *turning 40

take your own advice i quoted ?

and that other fucktard did not notice the other stuff i said i added (more than just colors)
and that guy chubner1 is the one who has been an asshole to me since day one like 8 months ago !
most of you noobs don't know fuck all anyway you just got here so like i give a shit what you think lol

and this applies to ALL of you little brats..

LEARN TO SAY THANK YOU ungrateful pricks

edit:
And to the other guy bitching about cuda 5.0..
i already said numerous time it makes no diff for speed for me and my Fermi card at all vs 5.5 (i keep saying i have no Kepler card too)
and i said clearly many times that i had problems compiling the same code with 5.5
so no it is obviously NOT backwards compatible..
I can code can you ?
anymore lectures ?

Golden rule. You act like you are suprised

Here is the miner mod i made i mentioned earlier..

i want to work on porting a lot more of my code into chubners1 newer build before i think about making a new forum topic.
So in the mean time if anyone wants it here ya go.. and un-check use downloader on the file hosting page guys ..should be obvious but sadly it's not Sad

Windows x64 build only with needed dll's
http://www.datafilehost.com/d/b89037fc

Source code only and Visual Studio project files
http://www.datafilehost.com/d/44b4bd48

So far all i did was take a few minutes to copy the Color code from my other cudaminer mod project and integrated the maxcoin pool fix.
Lots more of my code changes could be ported over also, but i have a lot of stuff to do and the color is enough for now i think..

edit:
I forgot i changed the SHA3 hash algo a bit too
it made it a bit quicker i think.. see src code Wink

edit2:
Forgot to say Green is normal and blue means that is your fastest submitted hash so far..

There is a command line for changing color modes too.. ON / OFF ? DULL or Bright mode (default)
use -w or --color
such as,
--color bright
--color none
--color normal
Note: if you don't have that command line in your bat it will default to bright mode like in the preview pic below.

It's a quick port so sorry if i missed something and fuck off with the donation crap please
and i added the source code GPL whiners so stfu lol
I don't want to listen to babies bicker over who gets donation money for a mod of a mod of a mod of a mod of a mod of a mod

ENJOY Smiley

Here is a preview of what it looks like..

http://i61.tinypic.com/vq73t2.jpg

I appreciate the mods. I think if you took a more humble tone people would not be so abrasive towards you. Count to 10 before you post, hahaha. You may or may not be cocky, but you come off that way sometimes and I think people react to that. Thanks again for the colors. Would love a 32 version (I have no idea how to compile on windows yet)

Your username and password are wrong

cudaminer --algo=keccak -d 1 -L 128 -l K1024x32 -i 0 -C 2 -H 2 -o stratum+tcp://max.smalltimeminer.com:3355 -u loginname.WORKERNAME -p passwordforworker

Create your account on smalltime miner, then create a worker. The worker you setup is part of the username and password.

So say your account name is blah and the worker you created was bro, with the syntax above it would be -u blah.bro -p passwordyougavetheworker (not your account password!!)

Thanks for your help so far.

cudaminer --algo=keccak -C 2 -L 128 -l F64x4 -R 5 -o stratum+tcp://max.smalltimeminer.com:3355 -O user.worker:password

Worked for me but got 1,000khs, does that sound right for 9600 GT?

The "-d 1" thing didn't work but the above did.

So can we change that one to make it work harder?

Yeah actually the rest of that stuff was for my GTX 780, sorry, Didnt mean for it to confuse  you, just cut pasted. I would use the settings in the pdf at the beginning of the post (the google docs document). They have benchmarks on what you should be getting. A 9600 GT is pretty old. I would not expect too much out of it.

Is solomining still really an option? I've got two gtx 780's to throw at it. Anyone having any luck?

I'm thinking that myself. I can either keep my 4 780's directed to 1GH or put them on solo mining. 1GH is almost doing nothing for me now while they're under DDOS. Only reason to keep it at 1GH is if the DDOS lifts during the middle of the night.

Are you getting lots of Boo's or just not connecting? I'm operating at about 50% accepted right now.

Has anyone had any success with the windows wallet for maxcoin? I cant seem to get it to connect. Anyone have a conf file they could share? I searched and tried their configs, but no luck..

cudaminer --algo=keccak -o http://localhost:8108 -O name:pass -d 1 -L 128 -l K1024x32 -i 0 -C 2 -H 2

This config is giving me about 170000 khash on my Asus 780 gtx cards. But I'm getting about 67% hash success with 1gh.

agreed. Trade secrets are one thing (coin he is trading), but what customer signs a contract without knowing how much they are paying?  Obviously we are not signing contracts but just as a matter of speech.
