Unlocked my Batch 3 about 10 days ago.
Running steady at 700Mhz
Depending on the pool difficulty it ranges between 14.5k (high diff) and 17k (low diff)
Ran at 750Mhz for a full day, but the speed was noticeably lower (12-13ksol/s)

How did you OC Batch 3???

DECLARATION OF CONFORMITY

Hi,

I got huge problems with Custom Clearance. Need valid European Union Declaration of Conformity. Bitmain send me this:

https://preview.ibb.co/iMhnmR/Bitmain_L3_EU_DECLARATION_OF_CONFORMITY.jpg
zdjęcia free

But it has no Name of Authorised Signatory in english, his signature and place of issue needed by the date of issue. Maybe someone got a valid Declaration of Conformity without above errors?

Re: Alternative PSU for Antminer L3+ ?
by

on 22/10/2017, 11:12:45 UTC
Hello sirs. Just bumping the thread to ask the same question.

Is it the L3+ needs 8 connectors? The EVGA 1000 only got six VGA connectors. Im wondering if it is suited to the machine. Or Im just misunderstood it. Thank you.

L3+ need 9 connectors. I can highly recommend this PSU and the seller:

https://pl.aliexpress.com/store/product/BTC-LTC-DASH-miner-power-supply-200-240V-9-5A-MAX-OUTPUT-1600W-suitable-for-ANTMINRT/2856089_32809828964.html?spm=2114.12010608.0.0.69afe576tcITe2

Work well on all my 26th L3+ and seller is very solid (delivery around 7 days).

Good luck with your claim then. I hope you get your money back.

I must admit I've visited Aliexpress and wanted to get something ordered, but folk on here and elsewhere warned me off.

Thats why schould be here topic about unreliable sellers. Aliexpress is ok, you are 100% covered up to completing the order. In case like mine You loosing time, nerves and your money are almoust 2 months freezed. How much time is 2 months people who mine cryptocoins know best Wink

Cheesy  Dude,if you DO NOT get escrow for deals on there, you deserve what you get...........  Roll Eyes

Also,DO NOT pay with Bitcoin, refunds are not part of Bitcoins features  Cheesy

Funny that there are people in this forum enjoying someone's misery, especially having a status "Legendary".

It seems to be a common feature for a lot of people here. Newbies = dumb is their philosophy. To reference quote someone's signature, if you run into a lot of idiots on a daily basis, you're the idiot :p.

@OP lessons to be learnt, escrow costs you a bit of money but better to be safe than sorry.

C'mon, i got acount on aliexpress from 2014 and got lvl A3 there, almoust like his "legendary" here Wink But it still not avoid me to sooner or later i might get to cheater, especialy if he got 95% possitive feedback. I can handle it, but can be someone here who doesnt so good to warn him in the forum.

Was only a few days ago a thread went through the cons to buying from Aliexpress: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1965188.0

Wasn't you covered by some kind of trade assurance? Have you contacted Aliexpress to see if they can help?

I guess if hes shipped the parcel and you've received, then it's going to be difficult to claim.

Transaction is secured by Aliexpress, so i'm not worried, i just warn others. Many bitcointalk forum users buy miners on aliexpress, and this vendor is one of the biggest miners seller there.
So I inform that when you buy goods from this seller you can expect the old used inoperative equipment and the problem with return of goods....

No problem with claims there. You open dispute (you have 7 days after receive the order to do it, after it your money goes to the seller), submit evidence, aliexpress is an arbitrator on this case. Then they give You 7 days for send returned goods, and then seller got 25 days for confirm that he received it. This vendor is malicious and doesnt want to confirm receipt of the shipment although I have a confirmation from UPS which I have pasted as proof in the case. He can do that becouse he got 25 days for confirmation of receiving devices, no matter he received it week ago.

UNRELIABLE SELLER
by

If you are shopping on aliexpress AVOID this seller:

https://www.aliexpress.com/store/628736?spm=a2g17.10010108.0.0.ILcQgc

He sold me old and inoperable miners. First he has been changeing the shipping date all the time, claiming that there was out of stock, and then sent the last day possible. Miners arrived faulty, he didnt respond to my messages, after Aliexpress intervention he pretended not to know what was going on, because the merchandise has worked smoothly for a long time. I ask how is it possible, since before the shipment he claimed that hes out of stock, so shipping is delayed .... Of course he did not respond. Now as I opened the dispute and managed to return the money, I sent back miners that the seller received 3 days ago, but so far he do not want to confirm receipt of the shipment. Only aliexpress interventions force him to do anything or reply to the message. After three days he wrote that he had to test the miners and it would take 20 days .... although the device does not work! He still did not confirm receipt.

The other more profitable coins are much harder to turn to fiat currency though, aren't they?
Excuse me if I'm wrong, still a newb waiting for my July batch for my first miner.
Newb question. The 500Mh/s that it mines litecoins, does it mine with 500MH/s other scrypt coins too or the hashrate is different?

Its important to check if the coin is on good market like poloniex.com or btc-e.com. Poloniex is best, no problem with trading any coin they accept.

Have anyone found a LTC block with Antminer L3+? I'm starting to doubt that it is able to find it... A4 Dominator is able, I know (I have 270 MH one), but I haven't seen a block by L3+...

Yep found one on Litecoinpool.org Some time ago when i mined LTC. But i have mined lTC for only a few days this year.

Which coins do you mine with L3+ instead of LTC?  Can u please share...

GameCredits for example

Corsair 1050HX + Visiontec 400W AUX PSU.

When the L3+ arrived I realized the 1050 didn't have enough cables, so I grabbed an old auxiliary power supply I used on GPU rigs.
Bitmain says you can use more then one so I figured it didn't void the warranty, I had no other choice on hand.

Yes you should use 1 supply, but it will work and has for a few months now on an L3+ the same as it worked on video cards.

*I don't sleep there and I have automatic redundant fire suppression in place.

You can use PCIE splitter like this:

https://ae01.alicdn.com/kf/HTB1wnSMKFXXXXXMXVXXq6xXFXXXI/PC-CPU-8pin-to-Dual-PCI-E-font-b-PCIe-b-font-6pin-Power-font-b.jpg
That is asking for a fire to me..  Never again!

How would You like to burn something using 1050w PSU with 850W unit? You can burn miner, but using 2 PSUs.

Are you trying to say that using a 1050W psu to feed a 850W machine will burn it somehow? Really? Did you just say that??

Opposite, macsheadroom worry about burn, if use spitter to PCI-E wire.
