If you need 30 friends on facebook then it's not somehing i would be interested in. I don't use facebook and never will, too intrusive for me. Good luck but mabe a good idea to change the topic title, it's not really a $30 giveaway. I must admit i haven't looked at the links yet but it's the facebook thing that cancells me out straight away.
Yeah, it's not exactly what I would call it - doesn't sound like a giveaway to me.
It may not be called exactly what it is but still it's an offer suitable for some people.
Asia and Africa are the continents that hasn't been fully explored by Bitcoin investors and developers. Money remittance is a huge market and Bitcoin can easily eliminate the huge transfer fees charged by banks and Western Union.

Well that's pretty obvious, but the question stands, if I can order and use their card in Europe.
If it' a Visa Debit Card, why shouldn't it work around the world?
I don't get it - first people BOUGHT the coins and THEN they'll give them away for free? Am I missing something here?
This is what they say: We are pre-mining 4.5% of the total ziftrCOINs, 66.7% of which we will give away to consumers. In doing this, we hope that more consumers start to become familiar with cryptocurrency. To further achieve this goal, we are developing a mobile wallet that will hold all major types of cryptocurrency, including Bitcoin, Litecoin and ziftrCOIN.
its not free,imo its not a good deal they want to you to pay them 30$ for membership and in the return you get 10$ worth XCP and 20$ worth shopping voucher
Does not sound too bad to me - along with it you get a paid membership.
if you retrieved the source code from github lately and compiled it, you are automatically voting for merged mining. You can tell by looking at cryptonote_config.h in /src/
SUPPORT merged mining:
Code:
#define CURRENT_BLOCK_MINOR_VERSION 1
AGAINST merged mining:
Code:
#define CURRENT_BLOCK_MINOR_VERSION 0
That's right. Results will be calculated starting from the moment an explicit voting option will be provided.
What to do in case I have Linux ? As far as I understood there is no Linux ver which support merged mining, am I right? I am not a programmer and not capable to create binaries

Buy Bitcoins and 3-5 another cryptocurrencies. The chance that all of them at once will go to the bottom is very unlikely.
