Re: Blockchain technology for social good?
by

Blockchain potentially can benefit every single individual by allowing oneself to use his/her own personal information (instead of giving it away for free) in order to get profit, primarily award creators of the value and significantly cut down transaction fees. Not to mention it can definitely help fighting corruption and bureaucracy. Although it is still rather controversial and the final result depends on who's gonna put their hands on this technology first...

I do love the idea of electric car world and considering buying myself one of those in the nearest future. Although, governments should promote this initiative slightly better so it becomes less expensive. Take, for example, Norway - they're using a green tax shift that encourages environmental protection, brilliant and simple idea.

It's not that easy to understand you, dude. Probably, you should do your homework first before you start taking part in bounty campaigns but then again, who am I to judge...

If i understood you correct, you wanna add some new info to your report - no need to make another comment, just edit your previous one. You can simply search for your last posts on your PROFILE page clicking on the "Show the last posts of this person" link and edit any comment you want.

Usually, it's the combination of skills that brings you higher profit. Just the ability of speaking several languages is not as attractive as if you had, let's say, feel for a language - so you could write decent articles for local communities. Also, talking about crypto sphere - deep insight and narrow focus could be really valuable. Sit down and analyse your stronger sides. And don't forget to stay connected, look for the right people in linkedin and advertise yourself. Good luck!

Re: Bible downloads banned in China

Chinese government has always been very sensitive about all the religious matters especially after Xinjiang conflict started. And to their credit, they are coping quite fine with the task: vast majority of population still remains religion-free, saying that the only thing they believe in is money. I don't think this internet ban on Bibles is that serious since you can still buy a physical book in store, it just makes it a lot easier to control the authenticity of the content.

I would recommend to hire experienced bounty manager

Hiring a manager seems like an awesome idea but what bothers me is that this way you, probably, won't learn how to do things yourself. I'm also curious about the issue OP mentioned and it would be really helpful if someone could explain a bit more, what are the functions of bounty manager? Basically, he's gonna control the whole thing in all the social media and all the participants? That seems like a lot of work for just one person..

Re: How to identify a good blockchain project?
by
ssteinb86

Usually, you can spot quality project right away. But then you have to check team's background to make sure it is not a scam, even get in touch with some of them to make sure these people exist. Roadmap is essential because it shows the ability of the team to plan and critically evaluate their abilities. Not sure the ratings are so essential as they can also be corrupted.

Hard work pays off one way or another. If you won't succeed in that particular ICO, you gonna gain experience and improve you future steps. Not everyone is looking for shortcuts, some people genuinely enjoy the whole process of pursuit of success.

Such statements don’t surprise me. Look at the territory of Russia on the map. It’s huge. I think this fact is very irritating to America. Hence we see such a strong aggression.
But this doesn't make much sense, considering US population is more than 2 times exceeds Russian population and half of Russian territory is inhabited.

Re: ENGLISH LANGUAGE THE MOST POWERFUL LANGUAGE?
by

English is simply universal but there's no power in the language itself, as any word could be easily translated. The real power lies in the words, what they mean and who is pronouncing them.

Re: Who are most reliable advisors in ICO projects to trust
by
ssteinb86
on 23/07/2018, 06:30:19 UTC
Advisor is one of the key members of the team, he is supposed to guide you all the way through pointing out strengths and weaknesses of the project and suggest ideas how to work on them. ICO bench is one of the best places to check out the detailed info of the advisor (including his ICO Success Score) and get the contact info. All the experts are required to pass KYC procedure as well.

Thanks for sharing, everyone  Wink

Most very large ICO's are really private offerings these days which I have mixed views about.
Very enlightening, appreciate that. Will look more closely into this private offerings matter. Have you actually participated in any of them or you've just studied the case?

Is it really possible to raise a venture capital?
by
ssteinb86
on 20/07/2018, 11:18:26 UTC
Everyone tries to raise money via ICO campaign these days. Putting that aside, has anyone tried to get in touch with venture capitals and how does that actually work? I've came across a bunch of them focused specifically on blockchain projects.

Obviously, they must be out there for a reason but is it really possible to attract their attention assuming you have a decent project? Or maybe, most of them hunt for startups themselves?

Any first-hand info is highly appreciated.

Re: How to protect your Bitcoin, Ethereum from scam, hack,Phishing
by
ssteinb86
on 20/07/2018, 10:23:57 UTC
The easiest way to protect yourself from these hacks, scams and phishing and is not to use web wallet at all, MEW and other wallets online so in case you're not in good condition to check those things you're safe. And you can do it by purchasing and using hardware wallets.

Totally agree, cannot be sure when keeping it online.
You can also go the cheapest way and make a "cold storage" by simply printing public and private key together. And make sure you keep it in the safe place.

This type of "services" should be banned. Most likely it's a scam and if not... Well, it is supposed to cost a fortune to buy out a credit from any of top10 advisors and actually make the whole platform completely far-fetched.

Sorry in advance if this has been mentioned above but there's a book by Don Tapscott called "Blockchain Revolution" and it's really good. So if the "oldschool" way is good enough for you it totally worth the time.
