I wonder if it is possible that every "smart investors" or people who maybe know whats going on with the market and could know the future of it as it is manipulated for a long time, are now selling their BTC and other cryptos which causes continuously falling and the only people who buy it are "HODLERS" which would buy at any price and any deep so they could be left with their hodlings worth even at much lower prices till it's gone to 0? Just wondering  Grin

However anyone could done this, but who needs to project a circle from scratch, when you have a bunch of ready to use and P&P stuff, it shows how far desperated they are in earning money and how much they already gathered so they can make such a device without rising and funding all that industrial network which is needed to build up a working PC - they just buy from them RAM, GPU, CPU and thats it, only need to make your own board which is easy as fucking with all that datasheets they have.

They're chinese, they can do anything for money...[/b]

If it's that easy to build an equivalent competing device, why not release it and beat them at their own game?  Even their competitor Panda, can't seem to build a better device.

It is so ironic how many people complain about others what others will do for money, but they themselves resell what Chinese manufacture for them to get money for themselves.

It is called monopoly, but you have missed the point of my post Smiley

I bet that this thing will be just build-in modified GPU and RAM boards running on some custom micro motherboard with premade OS that make it looks like ASIC but acts like any other PC with GPU's mounted.

Remember that E3 is almost the same as RX580 rig. It just costs less but everything else is almost the same (I think E3 will be as loud as a jet taking off though)
But who cares about that noise? It doesn't matter, none shut down their rigs because of noise or something...

Re: Multi-rail PSU? how to properly setup
by
steve666
on 01/03/2018, 16:40:28 UTC
Exactly GPU and its riser should be connected to one 12V rail for the best performance and to avoid potential mismatching (which actually shouldn't matter that much as long as these PSU are build for applications like that)

It's simple as... you know what... Just connect one rail to one GPU and thats it. It also depends on how much power can be drawn from one 12V rail, for example if your multi-rail PSU has 20 amps per rail at 12V it may deliver 12*20 = ~240 Watts of power.

This is nice but in the reality, the gpu need a proper space to one another to freely flow the air on both side, in this kind of setup the gpu will supper the high temperature.. Just saying..

Agree. Running cards above 70 degrees for me is huge no no, I keep them 40-55 degrees.

Bullshit, just put it in a case to make air-flow system and it will be better that all that free-standing frames that are cusking dust and dirt from environment and also causes ambient temp to rise.

Re: High electricity cost -> What to mine / options?

You have to check for various coins to mine and the best way to figure out which one is most profitable is to mine it for some time and make your own calculation according to your hashrate, algo diff etc.. I'd rather would not bother with WHATTOMINE.COM as everyone suggest, because this site is spreading bullshit and its calculations are wrong or displayed specially to deceive.

I run my rig with Asrock EXTREME 4, 990FX chip with 5x PCIE onboard and FX6300 processor, very good setup however CPU might be some electricity-eating so you would mind use other one.

Re: How to Deal with the Heat?
by

Just isolate your rigs from ambient temp. for ex. if You are building your rigs in a casing then put some kind of mnifold intake to one side of your rigs case and let it breath ex. from outside of your rig-house/room then lead some tube outlet (hot air) to other room or other side keeping some distance between intake and outlet. You may let your cards breath air from the room you keep them, but you necessarily need to lead hot air flow out from your rig environment for ex. fan on your house vent tubing or something.

The worst thing to do when building rigs is building them like most popular now on free-standing opened frame, cuz you need to keep that environment clean off dust, good air quality and specified humidity. The best thing for it is building air-flow-case like server cases are done.

Kindly Regards

Re: [ANN][PASL]-[PASCAL Lite]-[PascalLite just hit $1 million market cap milestone!]
by
steve666
on 24/01/2018, 11:23:57 UTC
Why would you change algo. This is not good decision. First generation of ASIC machines will go to primary coins like PASCAL, after 2nd generation of stronger ASIC early miners with weak machines will move to PASCAL Lite and other coins supported by that ASIC. Also those who have just one or two ASIC miners won't stand a chance on PASCAL, so again they will start to mine PASCAL Lite to at least try to recover their investment.
Initially ASIC machines will make major influence on the coins price who will drop but once stabilized with ASIC hash power it will ensure more investments on the market.
Keeping this algo will show support for early GPU miner who collected PASCAL Lite over the time. After all everything will end up eventually that with strongest ASIC miner you won't be able to mine more than 1 PASL per day. If we remember what happened with scrypt ASIC miners then all is easy to understand. Now on every single scrypt coin you have high diff because people have lot of unusable ASIC machines who can't do much on Litecoin or any other popular scrypt coin but they didn't trow them away. They put them on first scyrpt coin they found who is not even listed on the market thinking maybe something will happen with it. On other side ASIC sellers much invest portion of money earned to rise the price of coin or algo they support to ensure that their ASIC will be sold in the future. After all of this PASCAL will worth up to 300USD, PASL maybe 50USD and then you will see lot of new coins with this algo. Again, from history, I have mined lot of scrypt coins when diff was lower than 1, now on same coins mined by ASIC diff is more than 300, price increased a lot over the time. Complete situation with those ASIC machines will be only bad for GPU miners who were here only for quick profit selling instantly what they mine but those are not real supporters of this project. Those who mined and hold are and they will benefit from this a lot. So think twice what is smart to do. PASL is 2nd coin in the line of coins supporting this algo, don't lose that place. Comparing Dash(Darkcoin) and his followers using same algo you can see ASIC influence and price ranges/hash rate they had over the time to the situation we have now with them when all is crystal clear about stuff I m saying. My advice is to don't touch anything but patiently wait.
Well said, I was about to sell all my mined PASL and few days ago i thought to myself fuck it, maybe it will be worth waiting, however there is no place to sell it xD Thanks! Hoping for a very good future for PASL
