Folk,

Firmware 2.1d has been released which corrects an issue with firmware certificate expiration. Please upgrade to this release.

If you are a paid user, you will have to reapply your license after upgrading.

Thank you,

Jason

I tested the firmware on a Z9 mini and didnt really make any diffference?

What batch mini?
For batch1, benefits are minimal at best.
For later batches, the ability to tune your system on a per board basis can net you +5% or more.

This firmware was targeted and focused for the Z9s -- it only exists on the mini at the rest of users.

If it does not gain you anything, no harm, no foul and I thank you for trying it out!

Jason

I have 6 x Z9 minis batch 1 and no Z9 so i cant test one and maybe a voltage increase is need on the mini Z9

thx

Re: [FIX] Issue antminer l3+ (boards not recognized, bad fw flash , etc)
by
stevebills
on 03/02/2018, 00:09:41 UTC
Here's the issue you may have , hashboards are not recognized, anymore

/!\ please read carefuly /!\

**************************************************************
Firmware Flash
**************************************************************

Here's a fix solution to rewite PIC's of L3+ after some of us flash bad firmware to their L3+.

Many has recovered 3 boards , some all of it

Thanks to Blissz for this fix (please do not pm him for this )

1. Download File
(re-up)
Quote
WARNING: Don't flash this to anything else as a bricked L3(+) caused by flashing a wrong firmware version, as this might harm a working L3(+).
MEGA
or
1fichier

2. Plug only 1 board from chain 0 (white cable on the left) as you can see under , you can plug upper hashboard 1st

https://img15.hostingpics.net/pics/67636520171209112922.jpg

3. Go to system -> Upgrade -> "Flash new firmware image" choose the file downloaded to flash new firmware and click flash image
wait for reboot.

If kernel logs get this ... 0xcc , wait after you see it (5 minutes, to see again 0xcc or most of time 0x3 and then it will fix your board) other way try to connect an other boards and restart from "3"

Dec 17 14:13:51 (none) local0.notice cgminer[377]: Chain 0 PIC Version 0x3
[...]

you will see some logs like this , PIC's is currently writing.

Code:
Dump IIC Data:[41][98][0][0]@ChainID:[0], Chip[C9]

wait logs "miner start and switching pool" the board has been flashed with success.

After fixing all or some of boards , you can finaly flash back bitmain l3+  original Firmware.

**************************************************************
Manually Flash
**************************************************************

/!\ I will not assist with "how to" here cause i didnt experience it yet
but if you have stuff (pickit3) and knowledge to manually flash chip of your miner here's the files

! warning ! have a look to the pic version you have (writed on the chip).

there is PIC16F1704 or PIC16F1705

Here's the hexa files for each version

MEGA
PIC16F1704.hex
PIC16F1705.hex

1FICHIER
PIC16F1704.hex
PIC16F1705.hex

Thanks to martin_fryc for sharing files, after succefully fix his L3+ by manually flashing PICs

hello Sir
I am looking on the board for the pic chip number and i cant se it please help me?
thx

Re: ANTMINER D3 - Hacking, Reprogramming , Disassembly , Debugging, OS change
by

on 27/12/2017, 00:28:28 UTC
Hi
As there is a lot off unknown future about the late batches of Antminer D3 , I would like to start a topic where we can share ideas about
alternative use of this hardware - different than X11 mining.

The interested aspects are:
- Can we install different OS on the machine ?
- Can D3 be reprogrammed to any different algo or X11 is the only one ?
- How the power of the machine can be used if not for mining ?
- Any interested ideas about alternative use of this equipment ?
- Any Links to sources with interested detailed information's , tech documentations , operating systems, circuit diagrams ?

I think this topic may become very good source of information's about Antminer D3

if you put one upstairs and one downstairs and make a system to connect it to the heating you wont need a boiler

Bitmain has so many complains about the services that they have processed and especially the transactions they have, they Delivered items that's not complete. This issue is been around this forum especially here in service discussion and in mining, so i think Bitmain is not really safe eventually and is not trusted by this time, if i will give them Rating by Stars i will give them Only 1 since there service is not well. So OP, don't ever get fool by bitmain again.

I have no choice but to buy from bitmain and pay like $1450 for an antminer as box shifting money grabbing
so called wanking dealers want $4000 plus on ebay and still expect you to wait 6 weeks while it arrives from china
go and figure that one out i cant get my head round it

Re: $130 USD Bitmain Coupon for any Miner [L3+,S9,etc]
by
stevebills
on 25/11/2017, 12:37:56 UTC
A new batch of Antminer S9's are currently available from Bitmain, (Antminer S9-13.5TH/s Shipping: 1-10 September), making this a PERFECT time to utilize this coupon and SAVE MONEY!

If anyone would like to use a "Buy it Now" option, I will sell the coupon to the first person who commits to purchasing it for a price of $75.00 USD. The coupon will deduct $130 USD from your bill at checkout, you paid only $75.00 USD for the coupon, saving yourself $55.00 USD. In other words, who wants $55.00 USD for absolutely FREE?

For anyone unfamiliar with these coupons: If you purchase a miner from Bitmain, then the price of that same miner goes down, Bitmain issues transferable digital coupons for the difference (in my case, the price went down $130 USD at some point after my purchase, and Bitmain issued a coupon to my account for that amount). The coupon is currently available for me (or anyone) to use. As I just purchased one of the last batches of Antminer S9's, I do not need this coupon. As can be seen in the screenshot, there is an option to "Donate" (transfer) the coupon to someone else. I simply click on the "Donate" button, type in the Bitmain Account Number you provide me with, & the coupon will then show up in your Account under "My Coupons", & be available for your immediate use. If you have ever (or are going to) purchase a miner from Bitmain, you already have (or will have) an Account number for me to make the transfer. This a a VERY easy process & is a win/win!

Hello Sir
I have been offered 7 coupons and how do you spend them and what is donate as is it a charity?

thx
steve

Re: Bitmain looks like they're releasing a 15GH/s DASH miner called the AntMiner D3
by
stevebills
on 05/11/2017, 23:40:31 UTC
Hi, my two D3 arrived today too (the units are 01-15 Nov. batch and are labeled 19.3Ghs), but I have paid 591 Euro of VAT and TAX. I am waiting for the APW3++ power supplies that aren't shipped yet.

mine arrived today, and UPS forgot the import tax.  So that saved me a few $

now i just need the power supplies!

Bitmain are holding on to power supplies and just sending the d3's out and talking abut rubbing salt in the wounds thay have took the piss to much they are scum bags
