I purchased two from them, paid in BTC, and now the order states it's expired. I've emailed twice and haven't heard nothing back.
I also purchased 2, around the same time, and was freaking out cause blockchain.info was showing unconfirmed.. I emailed them about it.. showed them the transaction.. they've manually changed my order from Expired to Paid and Valid, and its now just waiting to ship.. Hopefully it'll ship out soon..

Are you running both of those s1's at 180gh or 200gh off of your 850W PSU?
Where abouts in Canada are you located?

Thanks for your help..
I'm still having trouble figuring out what blockexplorer.com is showing on that page, but so long as its an issue with that one website, but the funds have been transferred successfully, then everything should work out.
Thanks!

HELP - Unconfirmed Transaction on BlockChain.info
by

on 19/03/2014, 17:17:30 UTC
Hey all..
I was trying to make a purchase last night, and I sent BTC to the address that was provided to me.
My wallet is showing the transfer (of 1.976BTC), and at this time is showing 69 confirmations.
When I look on blockchain.info, its showing the transaction, but its showing it as 'Unconfirmed Transaction' - AND its also showing the 1.976BTC that was sent to the proper address, and another 0.0239BTC going to another address which I did not send any btc to...
Why is blockchain.info showing this transaction as unconfirmed? Did the recipient get their bitcoin? Why does blockchain think I sent 0.0239 to another address, and why is this not showing up in my wallet locally?
This board only has 7 chips on (for reasons not worth going into), which means we're currently getting 2.24 per chip on the 8 board. Not bad. This is without proper cooling and various other tweaking on clock, voltage etc still to come, so we're looking good.
Wow! That is great Barntech (and great news about the 6+2 PCI-E connector - all PS's have that or the 6 if older. Tons of choices out there).
You are getting just under 18 Ghash/s per board (if you had 8 chips). That is nice and such a huge jump from last week. Not really overclocking them much yet either. Good luck finding that perfect setting.
So small, I really thought they would be larger. (I can always put the mini in a larger computer case with a noise generator and blinking lights to get that effect though, just for when company is over of course! )
Thanks for the pics, nice to see. So exciting to be this close. Congrats.
Waiting for the go on 12V and I will order my Cooler Master V450S at 92% efficiency. (We need that with the rates here in Germany nearing .28 kwh)
First great news, close to the decision on the PS. Maybe we can order later today and set up the Mining Shrine.
Question - Are the 6 pin Molex common connectors on modern Power Supplies? (Do they go by a different name?) As I can't seem to find many.
Looking at PS's I am not seeing the name "6 pin Molex". (And I'm hardly seeing 6 pin connectors, but on a few)
For example: -Only 2 of the 7 low watt (300w - 500w) "Be Quiet" models have PCIE 6 pin connectors and just 1 at that (I think that is Molex as it is the only 6 pin listed.) -I see no 6 pin on the cooler master series (see 6+2) -EVGA 500 - I see only the 6+2 listed -400 Watt Super Flower Golden Green - 1 x 6 pin PCI Express power (I think this is it). -Corsair RM 450 - No 6 pin listed -Corsair CX 430 - No 6 pin listed (both of these Corsairs list 6+2) -Seasonic SSR 360 - 1x 6pin PCI-Express Connector
So, if 6 pin connectors are not as common on newer power supplies, be selective with which you buy. (Excuse me if I'm wrong here, just checking and don't understand all the terminology but imagine others are in the same situation.)
Can these 6 pin connectors be had via an adapter to an (e.g. 6+2 pin?, etc.)
Thanks, IA
edit - From what I have read, I think you can use an adapter to go from 6+2 PCI-E to 6 PCI-E. Can someone confirm that?
The 6 pin molex hes referring to are PCI-E adapters. Most PSU's will have these connectors now, some will have 2, some 4 or more..
The 6+2 are simply an 8pin PCI-E adapter, where the 2 extra pins can be unclipped from the other 6 pins (as you see in the pic that Barn posted), similar to when ATX adapters went from 20 pins to 24pins..
As for the 8 boards, considering a few options. One is two have two of these guys on the back like so. These are pretty great but they are quite expensive, will come in at $17 for the pair.
Let me know your thoughts on these. We will need to order them very soon. Will probably be easier if we just get a bunch of the same ones, so perhaps the cheaper ones will be more universally appealing, though i guess two options is an option. Can i get a show or hands?
Cheers
Barntech
What is the height on those black heatsinks? will they allow enough clearance between two boards in the miniplane? and how much clearance does the silver one allow for?
I cant really speak for how Barntech is running this auction, but a previous auction of his, the newest bid of a given price was dropped off - the earliest bids stayed on the list the longest..

are you better off using a 120mm case fan to pull the hot air away from the boards, or use any kind of fan to blow hot air over/away from the boards?

Glad to hear! Thanks!
waiting 6mins between posts kinda sucks if you're looking at an auction in the last minute or two

While trying to post a reply I got a message saying I had just posted something, and need to wait atleast 360 seconds before posting a message again. Is this a delay that will get removed as I have more posts/activity on the forum? or is this a limit thats applied to everyone?
Thanks!

Re: [OPEN] - GROUP BUY of BITFURY Chips + DRILLBIT SYSTEM mining assembly
Does anyone have a suggestion on a fan to use to cool 4 boards on the backplane? (Dimensions? Brand? type? Etc?) Like a lot of you I will be overclocking the boards and would like to add a fan to them. Would rather have the fan before the unit arrives.
So, looking for a relatively silent fan (Miners are in home) to go with my yet to be purchased silent Power Supply.
Thanks, IAS
Not sure if it would provide enough airflow for these Bitfury chips, but I'll be trying some Nexus Real Silent 120mm fans. It's cheap, it has good static pressure considering it's moderate speed of 1100RPM, and it's pretty quiet even at full speed. SPCR has been using it as their reference 120mm fan for at least seven years now, for good reason.
Scythe Gentle Typhoon would be another good option.
+1 for the Scythe's. I will be using more than a few of those.
I was thinking of putting a desk fan next to the boards to blow the hot air away from the boards.. Is there any reason we shouldnt be using a desk fan?

Re: [OPEN] - GROUP BUY of BITFURY Chips + DRILLBIT SYSTEM mining assembly
Any word on powering multiple 8 chip boards through the mini plane? I think I saw it uses an ATX connector, so I'll need a Desktop PSU to power it? And the OP mentions ~0.8W/GH - so if I rounded to 3W/chip i'd be under 50W for 2 boards right? Will a 430W PSU be enough power?
Thanks, - stringer
Yes it the miniplane will be powered by an ATX connector so you will need a psu for it. And each board will use about 20-25W each from a rough estimate at the full 2.7GH/sec. So your 430W PSU will have enough power it could infact power 8 boards and still have leftover power.
If its a SINGLE rail PSU.If its a multi rail type, you could be in trouble by overloading one rail unknowingly
Get a Single rail PSU,please!!! & keep it underpowered by 20% to keep it running cool.IE,500 watt PSU,only use 400 watts or so
Personally,I'll be useing only the PCIExpress cables with adapters I'll make myself
Why single rail and not multi-rail?
How can I tell if a PSU is single or multi rail?
My plans were to use a dedicated brand new PSU for my drillbits, with nothing else plugged in,and I've only got 2 boards coming so that shouldnt be too much for the PSU..
