Hi, I am new to NEM.

As I understood right there is no Inflation. You can harvest by choosing a supernode and get rewards from the transaction fees that the supernode collects by putting transactions in a block.

1. How is the supernode rewarded?

2. If NEM gets more used, do the fees also rise like at BTC?

3. By higher usage the value of the token would also rise. So why should a company use this blockchain, if they have to pay more and more for the usage when NEM gets more popular.

I however did not that good experience with day trading.
I looked all day the prices up and thought about it. Sometimes I did good gains, but at some days to sell at the high and made loses.
I stopped it with with a slight minus.
Know I am just investing long term. It is much easier and less risky i think.

There is no hype around this coin. Nobody is really speaking about it. So it might be a good point to get in.
However they got recently some huge competitors, like filecoin which raised over $200 mln in there ICO recently.
Nevertheless SIA is developing since some years now and have already a working product, there plans are also cool, like offering local storage for Netflix so that the movies load faster.
Take a look at their website and inform yourself where they are right now. I somehow dont really hear news about SIA in other Media.

Wow, this news is somehow expected but I did not expect it to happen already.
However I am really glad that there was no split. Less confusion for newbies and no more fight in the community.
If you look at the marketcap it is rising over all, so there is not really money going from BTC to alts, there is new money coming in.
It is a really exiting moment, I hope there will be peace now for a while around BTC.

I think the market is backed by a good and improving technology so this market will keep up for some years.
And we are still at the beginning. Not many people heard about blockchain yet.
If you feel like many people already know it it is just because you are interested in it and you are chatting with people like you, but if I ask my friends they are really not interested in it yet and usually dont understand me.
So I think if you zoom a bit out you still one of the early adopters. Dont look at the price of one coin, look at the capitalization and you will see that there is still space to grow.

In general I would agree with you, but these days you have to be really lucky to pick a good ICO coin like Ethereum.
I think the most crypto startups that raised money through an ICO during this ICO hype will fail and disappear when their money reserves are empty, like 99% of other startups.
Investing in ICOs for long term holding is like gambling in my opinion.
I think the most are investing in ICOs to make a quick buck.

I think Stratis is somehow undervalued.
Of cause it does not have a finished product yet, but the platform they are creating looks on paper really promising.
You could say it copied Ethereum, but I would rather say it optimized it for the industriell use.
C# is a widely used programming language, so it is easier to use Stratis.
If you listen to the developers, they sound really determined and focused on a good product that should be finished in 2018.
I guess all this should be included in price, because I am not the only one knowing it, but it does not feel so. There is a lot more hype around Asian solutions like NEO.
Besides that the community is great. Just check out the slack.

I think picking a good Altcoin below the Top 100 is just gambling and even below the top 10 it is very risky. But high risk = high potential profit i guess.

First dont look at adverts. That is not a good source of information because it wants to sell you something.
If you heare about something, make your own research and also search for the bad sides. Than decide rational what side is more trustful.
For example if you google "bitconnect," you will find a lot of positive because people are promoting it to get referral rewards. Google also "bitconnect scam" and you will find a lot of negative arguments. Then decide who you want to trust.

I bought some Stratis. Despite the strong community it is not hyped right know and thats the reason why I bought it.
They should have a working platform 2018, so I hope the rocket will start at the next hype.

I also grabbed some more Stratis at this low price. People are reminding me at the birds from Nemo, they just follow each other. If all runs good for Stratis I think this horde will jump on it till something other caches there attention.

I definitely agree with you. I am also really optimistic on Stratis. 2018 they should have working products and beginn to operate with business customers. The recent pump was just because of the cryptohype in general.
