Having multiple wallets isn't enough. It's also important to store crypto on non-custodial wallets like Ownr or Lumi.

Re: If we have crypto Why people still buy stocks?
by
sujon5
on 16/05/2021, 11:40:42 UTC
Historically, stocks have averaged an annualized return of 10%. That's better than the average annualized inflation rate. It does mean you must have a longer time horizon. That way, you can buy and hold even if the value temporarily drops.

I hardy believe that Tesla cares about the environment more than about its revenue. It's more like an attempt to manipulate the crypto market.

The Turkish government banned Bitcoin and crypto as a payment method, but the citizens can still buy invest in crypto. So I don't think it's such a serious problem.

Re: Give reasons why ETH is better than BSC
by

on 18/04/2021, 04:19:10 UTC
⭐ Merited by Ratimov (1)
 Some properties of Ethereum:
- Advantages: Strong community, reputable development team, large capitalization, the first blockchain using smart gossip, high decentralization;
- Disadvantages: slow speed, 15tps, very high transaction cost;

Some properties of BSC:
- Advantages: high speed, cheap cost, large ecosystem;
- Disadvantages: low decentralization, new blockchain.

Elon Musk can't hurt Doge's reputation because there aren't a lot of people who take it serious. Doge is a meme pump-and-dump coin for most.

Re: Pricing in Dollar - Pricing in Bitcoin

We are all certain that the Dollar and other FIAT are going to crash in the near future
or after we get to grips with this pandemic and financial aid ends. When this happens
we wont be pricing Bitcoin in Dollars.

What will we be using, Chinese Yuan?

But Yuan is fiat too...
Don't hope that fiat collapse will happen in 2 or 5 years. It's more likely we will use CBDCs soon, and Bitcoin will be priced in digital Euro and dollar.

Re: Bitcoin to trigger central bank collapse
by

What can trigger the central bank collapse? It's foolish CB policy, not Bitcoin. When 2008 financial crisis happened, Bitcoin didn't exist.

I am so sorry to hear about your loss.
This isn't the first key of loosing Bitcoin private key. The only thing I can recommend you is trying to look for a piece of paper or notebook or USB drive in your brother's staff. I think he kept a copy of his pass-phrase in a secure place.

Re: I am writing an article on how to stop bitcoin. Can you guy help out?
by

Maybe I'm wrong or too optimistic about Bitcoin, but I believe the only thing that can physically stop Bitcoin is    a blackout electricity. If suddenly electricity goes away foever, we won't be able to mine/use Bitcoin.

Bitcoin outperforms gold because it's a rarer asset. That's why I'd rather invest in digital gold.

Some wallets don't show your private keys for security reasons. I use Ownr it has the same feature. You can import your wallet using a seed-phrase.

Re: who controls the bitcoin price?
by

on 14/03/2021, 07:08:34 UTC
Bitcoin is 100% decentralized. Its price isn’t set by anyone in particular. It’s set by the market, by people who want to buy or sell the first crypto. Whales can manipulate the market, but they can't always rule it.

Re: Is USDT trusted to use?
by
sujon5
on 08/03/2021, 05:34:41 UTC
I know that USDT isn't 100% backed and can't be used as a long-term store of value. I keep some USDT on my OWNR to use it for buying alts during bear markets, it's easier than buying crypto with a card.

Re: Am I too late to Bitcoin?
by

on 08/03/2021, 05:20:42 UTC
It isn't to late to buy Bitcoin until the last block is mined. Maybe Bitcoin isn't able to make you a billionaire in 11 years from now but it's still a good investment.
