Do anybody know if it possible to get the money that is in "confirmed" status back into the trading account? As the situation is now I have neither bitcoins nor dollars.
Hi wingding.

open a ticket and request a cancellation on the withdrawal transaction.

I did that then I bought back BTC, which I withdrawn to BTC-e, over there I withdrawn euro, which they fulfilled in about 2 days.
They charged an arm and a leg, (in fairness I don't understand how they calculated the fee)
All in all from 2340 eur withdrawn I got 2198 in to my account.

My view is right now:
-At least I have my money...

STAY AWAY FROM GOX !!!!!

I've read Euros can be withdrawn just fine and quickly? Is it is true how does that fit with the automated wire transfer system outage? Wouldn't they be processed by the same system?

Let me correct you.

I have a request in EUR from 23rd of May... Still no money.

Right. I just asked Gox to cancel my withdrawal request. I think I will try BTC-E as well.

Mt.Gox is a lying scamming bunch, that will loose lot of big time players (not that I am by any means) due to their ill business practices.

If you want some reading, here is the latest I got back from Support.

Now I got the person in charge... Smiley

But when I asked her instructions on how to initiate a wire transfer from their Japan Bank account (for a fee) there was no reply.

I am Marion in charge of this service.
We apology for delay and issues.

As written on our website, there is one month delay on Euro transactions, we even published an article on our website about that.

Why ?
As you said we are a Japanese company, located in Japan. You made a withdrawal request in Euros to our Polish Bank account(and not to our Japanese bank account).

As we are a Japanese company, we have a withdrawal limit in Euro by day and we are strongly limited by this limit.

So, all withdrawals are processed following a queue, but when we are reaching the limit only little amount are processed in order to process a maximum of withdraw by day. That is why the second withdrawal was able to be processed faster. Mt.Gox has no profit or interest on keeping your money.

So, there is no issue with your withdrawal, it is in the queue to be processed.

I do not know if support let you know that you can withdraw from our Mizuho bank account by using an international wire, fee is more expensive but delay is around 5 business day maximum. If you want to change for this solution, you can ask the support to cancel your current withdrawal request.

Since one year, we are working on a new solution to propose to our European users. This solution should be available before the end of the year and will allow us to process more transaction by day.

I would but right now this is where I am standing with them. Seriously thinking of buying back some BTC and get it out on another channel. Problem is, that I am a bit worried with BTC-E too.

Hi Guys. I am waiting 27 days for a withdrawal of 2400 euro from MtGox account.
This transaction is still in "confirmed" stage since the 23rd of May, However I made another withdrawal on the 5th of Jun, for 110$ which has arrived in 2 days.

This is the session that I had with MtGox support today.

To be honest it is worrying, but I will let you decide.

This is definitely cause for concern, as generally, the only limit a bank puts on a client's ability to make payments is the balance in the account. There are some other obscure possibilities (compensating balance requirement due to loan covenants, or even some type of capital controls) but more than likely, this new "policy" is due to cash flow issues.

Or maybe they removed large amount of fiat from the business in case the US court case turning out bad.

27 days after initiating the withdrawal for international wire transfer on 23.05 (EUR to Ireland) the status is still confirmed...

There is NO QUEUE as I initiated a small 110 Euro withdrawal after the first big one ON 05.06 IT HAS ARRIVED IN 2 DAYS!

THAT IS DEFEATING THE FACT THAT THERE IS A QUEUE.
Where is MtGox, to answer these question?

We are talking about a service they providing here, which we payed for it in advance (fees) and yet the service is delayed to an unknown time.

You know samson, what is my grit with that?
That this payment is for 2400 euro, this has been waiting for about a month.
After that I had another payment, for 110 euro on the 05th of Jun, and that has arrived to my account on the 7th of Jun !

So when I mentioned the fact to support that this actually denies the fact that there is any queue exists, they just said that they will get in touch with their banking department.

There is no queue !
What there is, is that they probably have a daily limit of X thousand that they can move out, and for that X amount they rather pay 20x 100$ and keep 20 of their smaller account withdrawal happy rather than 1 bigg(ish) one.
I found this alarming. And for anyone, I will advise NOT TO DO BUSINESS WITH MTGOX, due their ill business policy.

I requested a withdrawal in EUR to Irish bank, on the 23rd of May, and about one month later it is still not processed !!!
When I asked support they said that if I am not happy with the delay, I can cancel the request !!! WTF MtGox???

I requested a SWIFT withdrawal to Ireland in EUR on the 23rd of May, and my request is not even processed yet. (almost a month later) WTF???
When I asked support they told me that if I am not happy with the delay I can cancel my request...

All I know is that I requested a withdrawal on the 23rd of May and about one month later my payment is not even processed yet. This is artificial, the only other option is that they don't have the money to pay.

This morning MtGox answered to my question wether there is another method (international wire transfer) to get my money as soon as possible.

They copied in the relevant Q&A section.

What I don't get is that there is only one option in the withdrawal center to add an international bank account.
This is where I already added my SWIFT and IBAN code.

Is this not means that this request is not a SEPA, but an international wire transfer?

Almost a month that I've been waiting for now...

Is this a SEPA payment or an international wire (SWIFT) payment (SWIFTs cost 2000 Yen) ?

So MtGox's response was this:

"Hello,

Thank you for the email.
Your withdrawal is yet to process. Due to large volume of withdrawal queue. there might be a delay. If you feel this is taking too long. Please let me know so that I will chancel your withdrawal and credit the funds back to your Mtgox account Instantly.
Best regards,

Mt.Gox Team"

So as of today I waited 24 days since the request and the status is still only confirmed, not processed.

Does anybody know where can I submit a complaint to the regulator? who regulates MtGox?
