Question for experienced traders
by
tajimas
on 20/07/2024, 12:25:00 UTC
Hello,friends
I have a question for experienced traders who have quit trading and started to engage in long-term investing
What motivated you to do it?
It could be big losses on the stock exchange, fatigue from trading itself or money that allows you to invest in cryptocurrencies and not to trade every day
Maybe you followed the advice of your friends and quit trading
Any stories are interesting Smiley

Converting bitcoin to fiat without problems
by
tajimas
on 25/05/2024, 12:15:22 UTC
Hello,friends
The question is more for those who once converted a lot of bitcoins into fiat to their bank accounts
How did you do it so that the tax authorities and the bank manager would not question where the money came from?
The thing is that many years ago i bought my bitcoins from a person in cash and he transferred them to me in my presence
How can i make sure that this money is transferred to my bank card without any problems?

Why trading and not something else?
by
tajimas
on 19/05/2024, 16:34:29 UTC
Hello,friends
The question concerns experienced traders with a long experience of both wins and losses
Why did you decide to start trading one day?
Why do it,because there is long-term investing, mining or the possibility to do other business, including offline?
Who gave you this idea?
Did you start doing it to have an extra income or did you decide to devote your life to this business?
Maybe you are a former Wall Street trader and decided to start working for yourself, having a long experience in trading?
Any stories will be read with curiosity

Re: Question to hodlers:How will you spend the money?
by
tajimas
on 04/05/2024, 19:55:00 UTC
Hello,friends
The question is addressed to hodlers who have been hodling bitcoin for years
Sooner or later there will come a moment when we will sell the bitcoins we hodl and have to invest this money in something else to create passive income
It can be real estate, any business, buying land and renting it out or something else
Very few people will sell bitcoins just to spend this money in a few months,at least i don't know such people
Everyone here is a smart person and everyone here has thought about where to spend this money
That's my question

P.s. I'm a holder myself,i'm thinking about strategies and i'm interested in the opinion of other hodlers to put these ideas in my head and think about them

-Regards

Although you said that you are also a holder, I will like to ask you a question: as a holder, do you think it is a good strategy to sell all your bitcoin that you have been patiently holding for a long period of time to invest in a business that you are not 100% sure will succeed?

Take a deep look at it without working, Just being patient By holding bitcoin for a long time, you will make a profit. Didn't that look so easy to do? I know another source of income is good, but what is the essence of selling all your investments? Why not sell 1/4 or half of it to start up the business? If you keep getting higher profits, you will add more to your bitcoin investment, or do you think if you sell all your bitcoin investment, you will have interest in investing again? You might think it will be easy, but if the amount of bitcoin goes up, then you will feel discouraged because it will be like you have started your bitcoin investment from the beginning.

So if you truly want a good strategy, you should plan to start up a small business that will not consume more than 1/4 or half of all your investment, and even if the business fails, you will still have a backup.

I didn't say you had to sell everything
I just said that in the future such a moment is likely to come for everyone
I'm an advocate of income diversification, you can't put all your eggs in one basket
People may have different opinions and i'm interested in hearing them all
Some will agree with me,some will not, that's why i created this topic Smiley

Bitcoin ETF good or bad?
by

on 03/05/2024, 18:42:12 UTC
Hello,friends
How do you think the Bitcoin ETF approval will affect bitcoin and cryptocurrencies in general in the future?
Will it trigger the development and acceptance of bitcoin as a new currency and investment instrument or will it drive us more and more under the control of governments?

I don't think there is anything hidden in trading and every trader has have one experience or the other in their lives and it's mostly similar and common because is trading and people incur loose of fund while trading, this has affected many people mentally, physically and emotionally due to what they are facing. So any discussion that is taken out from this thread seems phishing to me because I don't know what you are to tell secretly you can't say here besides nothing much difference sending you pm and discussing it here.

I didn't say i had an exact way to get rid of it
I'm just willing to share what has worked for me and what i think is right to put mind at ease
I'll say it again,i'm not insisting,guys
I'm not a qualified psychologist, but i know a little bit about how to get out of the state that traders are  in

This is not my first time registering on the forum and i used to like it much better
People were friendlier and kinder to each other
And now everyone just wants to increase the merit of their account and start promoting some project,so they leave their comments everywhere to earn a rating
It disappoints me

If you need any help, you can write me in pm
Don't worry,i'm not going to charge you,it's all from the heart
I am conscious of scams that start out in this format, luring people who need help in the pretense of wanting to help them.
I think everyone should be careful too because it can happen, and many people have been scammed this way. If you want to really offer help? why not make it public?

I doubt that you would tell here that, for example, you threw a mug at a child out of anger when your stop-loss didn't work
I'm not encouraging anyone to do anything
I just know what it's like to be helpless about it
No one has helped me,so i understand people who are waiting for help but can't get it

Could you please create a thread sharing tips on how people with depression due to trading can cope, for a start?
Maybe members will then believe that you have good intentions. This is the internet, there are people with ill intentions on all corners of it. So if some members are paranoid, you shouldn't be made or blame them.

I totally agree
To get rid of paranoia, you just need to use the internet less Smiley
So easy
But all people are different
For example,an acquaintance of mine beat his wife in a fit of anger because he invested all his money from the sale of his mother's house in LUNA
Now he's left without a wife and has become an alcoholic
All people have different life situations and you can't put them on public space, because it's personal

I will not believe both that you do not want to accept money that it is free. I will tell everyone that they should be careful with someone like you. I can see in your trust page that you have neutral tag already about you sending unnecessary personal message to someone.

This is just how some scam will begin. You can actually be helping them and let the people to gain your trust. But later introduce them to a scam business. They would have been scammed before they will know your bad intention.

I guess the person that first replied to this your topic might even be you or someone that knows you.

You can think whatever you want,i don't care
Whoever needs it will be interested and will see for themselves
You don't get your hands chopped off for asking in pm

Hello,friends
I created this topic because i know that a lot of traders have numerous psychological problems as a result of their work
These are constant neurosis, fear of loss, aggression on others, suspiciousness and many other symptoms that poison your life
Especially it is observed in people who lost a lot of money because of trading and can not recover from it,feel like losers
I too have faced all this and was treated for a year and i know exactly how to get rid of it
If you need any help, you can write me in pm
Don't worry,i'm not going to charge you,it's all from the heart
You don't have to describe your problems here, because this conversation is supposed to be confidential
If you don't need help, just pass by

Are you fucking serious???
I have sent several messages to the most respected and active members of this forum, eight to be exact
I didn't offer anyone anything at all,but i realize that no one wants to share information for free
I have not and will not be recruited into any project
I didn't ask anyone for seed phrases and have no intention of doing so
You're all out of your minds here!!!!
In one post you called me a scammer
People,what's wrong with you ALL?
I didn't ask anyone to click on any links or download any files
Why are you all so angry and accusing people of something they didn't do?
You all called me a bastard
ARE YOU PEOPLE SANE OR NOT?

Re: Hodling or selling?
by
tajimas
on 11/04/2024, 21:57:35 UTC
Please answer people who hodl not $1-2k,but at least from $20k
After all,the fear of loss from investing $1k is much easier to bear than from investing $20k

It’s true that the fear of losing $1k is easier to bear for someone who can risk $20k. But understand that those who invest $1k may see their $1k as $1M because it’s all they have. So you can’t really say it like $1k is little because the $20k investor may be a millionaire or someone who has a lot and it’s probably even their spare money. Nonetheless, hodling is not easy if you invested with a huge amount and don’t have distractions. If you have distractions, you wouldn’t even remember to be tempted.

Yes,i agree
But any person who earned his money himself and not inherited it from relatives or won the lottery, will worry the same for $1k or $20k
Because he knows that money comes from hard work
Any money...

Hodling or selling?
by
tajimas
on 11/04/2024, 18:07:40 UTC
Greetings,everyone
At this point in time,i was wondering about the opinions of dear forum users
There is a long period of time when the bitcoin price is at a rather high level, compared to the price a year ago
Some users have sold all their bitcoins as soon as the price became higher than the price at which they bought them
But i'm interested in the actions of those who bought their bitcoins more than 2-3 years ago and sold them now or are still hodling them
How did you find the strength and patience to resist this temptation?
Please answer people who hodl not $1-2k,but at least from $20k
After all,the fear of loss from investing $1k is much easier to bear than from investing $20k
For me this is the best indicator of inner strength and patience, because the greater the amount of investment, the greater the scale of his personality

P.S i've personally hedl bitcoins for a few years and it's well over $2k

This can simply be the round up quote that the "inexperienced investors makes the experienced investors rich". I've got to understand that crypto bull run happens after a periodic cycle of 6 years, then bear market follows gradually resulting to all coins to fall to their lowest point and remain like that for another 6 years cycle again.

Yes the bull run is within the corner because the crypto market has been dipped for the last 5 years so, crypto market is expecting to experience another ATH by 2024/2025 respectively.

The inexperienced investors will rush into market thinking the bull continues not knowing it doesn't last at ATH after the rest will be retracement.

Re: Gate.io - blocked funds without explanation
by
tajimas
on 21/02/2024, 15:40:29 UTC
Firstly, what do you mean by blocked the funds if I may ask, do you mean your USDT was not deposited into your spot account/wallet. Secondly, did you confirmed if gate exchange do charge for deposit fee and how much USDT did you deposit, I'm asking this because some exchange has deposit fee policy.

If you confirmed all these I ask you then you should know the reasons why you couldn't see your deposited funds before contacting the support.
