Having issues getting the wallet to sync, is there a snapshot somewhere or a good list of addresses?
Get some addnodes or all addnodes from here: https://novaexchange.com/addnodes/ECA/ and put them into your ECA.conf file. If you don't have ECA.conf file you can make one, just copy/paste the addnodes into a text document file and save it as ECA.conf
Found the addnodes through the staking guide, I'm all up to date now. Thanks!

1.0 works. you just need to add nodes
I added nodes but still not sync after 30 minutes.
2.0 link is broken
If you added the nodes and it still isn't synching close the wallet, go back to the %appdata% folder and delete everything but the .wallet and .conf files. Start the wallet up again and you should be good to go, it fixed it for me.

I decided to piddle with the sgminer following what anorganix did with the ccminer implementation. It isn't complete, hell it may all be wrong, but if it isn't then it's a start for someone who understands the intricacies of the miner better than I do to run with.

I guess there is something wrong... I can't mine anymore.
Then, http://mineme.xyz reports a transaction done to me at 21:35 GMT but I don't see it in my wallet (last transactions were shown in some minute, even if unconfirmed yet).
Of course my wallet seems to work (it is connected and blocks scan runs forward)
It seems that all DarkMatter mining is blocked in both solo and in all listed pools.
Does someone know something about?

So I'm still relatively new to the crypto game and this is my first time buying into a PoS coin. I am a little lost on how to stake the coins I have, the only information that I was able to find said to do "walletpassphrase "passphrase" timeout true" and it would start minting coins, is that correct? Is there a better way? How long should it be until I see coins from staking? Thanks in advance for any help, I can PoW all day but PoS has me lost
Please ensure that your wallet is encrypted before you stake your coins. If you have not encrypted your wallet, then it is safest for you to send your coins back to the exchange, then encrypt your wallet, then check your wallet to ENSURE that passphrase is correct BEFORE sending your coins back to your wallet.HOWEVER, if you have already encrypted your wallet, then do this: Click in the SETTINGS TAB, then click on UNLOCK WALLET (from drop down menu). A pop up box appears, where you ENTER YOUR PASSPHRASE and TICK the box that is "For anonymising and staking only". This will ensure that your wallet is unlocked ONLY FOR STAKING.
When I hover over the lock in the bottom right of the wallet it did show unlocked for anonymising and staking only. All of that being said, and by the process I described, is my wallet staking? Thank you very much for the help John!

My wallet won't unlock for me anymore, the last time that I was able to unlock it successfully was 8/15. I keep track of all of my passwords and it hasn't changed, does anyone know how to unlock/recover the wallet?
Please test it with console, help menu>debug
in console, type "walletpassphrase yourpassword" (without the "")

The password is a string of characters including spaces... it seems that after reading in the first part of the string and hitting the space that it's causing an error.

Ideally you would back up your wallet initially before encrypting it and save it somewhere for an instance like this. If there is a way to remove the encryption, then you can do that and then create a backup.
