WTA got some crazy script I suppose. Seeds falling out like flies and just now ex-Champ Vondrusova lost to the home fav Raducanu. Men's side is comparatively tame and going as expected.

Re: Stake.com - The Leading Crypto Casino - Drake, UFC, Everton, Stake F1 Team

What I wrote was the right information. I am at stake for 5 years and I have seen this countless times. Live games that ended still appear as a live game menu, yet when you click on the sport there is no live game to be seen. It's not that hard to understand.  Roll Eyes

When a game isn't showing up on the live section then they just don't have it live, simple as that. Stake is not known for having a big variety of live sport unfortunately. If you want to bet sports other sites might have more events to bet on.
I assure you that's not the case. I'll tell you the exact scenario. Whole morning, there were no games in that sport and hence, in the live sports section, that sport itself wasn't mentioned. Now, a new tournament has started and the first game of the day is about to start. Only then dota2 appeared on the live section with 1 event written under it but when clicked, nothing appeared on my end(throughout the whole match). So, as it was the first event of Dota2 for the day, there are no games that "ended" in the past 7-8 hours and dota2 wasn't even mentioned in that past 7-8 hours. I don't know why this issue occurs. Maybe they were scheduled to list the game with odds but the odds provider didn't have any odds for the game? or something else, like blocking players to bet on certain games(unlikely). I guess we'll never know.

It's not only you, same for me all the time. This happens often, with pretty much all kinds of different sports.
I guess they sometimes don't update the menu even after some games ended. I have seen this for years and guess they never really intend to fix it somehow.
Its not about updating after the event ended. In that case, you can see that the game has ended. Its about an event actually happening but not showing up to some users?(im assuming) or everyone for some reason. It showed up on live section as a game started and was the first game of the day, so can't be that of a recently ended event. Other sportsbooks, the event shows up with odds and everything but on stake its a ghost event. Some remnants of it on the live section, suggesting that a game is ongoing but the game isn't actually loading or showing up.

The Dota2 game exists in the live section but hasn't been showing up for the past 15 mins. Is this a glitch? There is an event ongoing and I'm assuming its the game from that series. I wanted to bet on it but it just hasn't been showing up. Is it just for me or everyone?

Joe Pyfer is out of UFC Mexico City against Kelvin Gastelum due to upset stomach. I don't think there's enough time to find a replacement. Such a letdown.

Easiest win for Sabalenka coming up. Even though it's Miami, Pegula's home neighborhood, as she's from Florida as well. The crowd didn't make it feel like she was home fav, in her previous match against Eala. I don't see any change in that against Sabalenka. Sabalenka leads h2h 6-2 and I've mentally already imagined Sabalenka holding the tropy.

Looking a bit grim for the Mumbai Indians with 78 needed of 26 right now.  18 runs needed per over for 4 overs! but if there's any consolation, its Hardik and Suryakumar. The 2 batters who can chase down mammoth targets in a short format game. Mumbai have to get it going now.

Re: Are Augmented Reality and Virtual Reality Casinos a Threat to Online Casinos?

What do you think? Are we witnessing the dawn of a new era in gambling? And more importantly, have you ever experienced an AR/VR casino? How was it?
Have tried VR gambling but it was in game currency and not real money. It was alright, didn't feel like it was groundbreaking and there's still a couple of years before it gets mainstream attention. I love to play poker and would like to see peoples reactions and tells while playing online and I consider that a downside of Online poker. Online casinos will start incorporating VR tech before it even starts hurting their business. I don't think that would be much of a problem.

Is it possible to change Stake username? or possible to transfer account to a new one, with the old stats? I think I had asked the customer support long time ago and they said it wasn't possible. Just wanted to check here if anything changed.

Ooohhh... Raul Rosas Jr. fighting Cheesy Gonna search for some funny pictures of this guy Cheesy How long do you think his hype would last? Until first loss? Hope that UFC took and keep him because of his talent, not only because of his look and temporary hype.

https://www.instagram.com/reel/DDgHrsDp0zj now I am not surprised why Raul ask for fight bonus all the time. He has such a huge family to support and share with Cheesy

Who else is worth not missing to watch?
Gastelum is always fun to watch and the main event is great too. Brandon Moreno vs Steve Erceg. I can't pick them apart but I'll be rooting for Moreno on that one.

Re: list of Bitcoin/Crypto Poker platforms?

There are a few pokerrooms out there but most are shit. I will give you a list to the best of my knowledge of rooms that accept crypto deposits.
~snip~
I am sure I have missed a few but these are what I remember for now. Good luck out there!!

WPT is quite a household name out there. Seen their brands especially in those high-stakes tourneys and have tested their app before.

They accept crypto deposits as well.
Thanks for the list the both of you. Didn't know WPT accepted crypto, that's huge. I had always hoped Pokerstars had the same option but I haven't played there in a long time. I'm fairly regular on Stake's tournaments but was looking for a list, so that I get to know what other options I have. We've all grown up on SWC, the OG for crypto poker in my humble opinion but I think there was a change in management after it shutdown for a while. Many options have popped up since and SWC hasn't been the same due to multiple factors. Good to know the poker scene is still thriving but we can surely do better in the near future.

Is there a list of poker platforms on bitcointalk? I'm interested in finding out which have tourneys and anything interesting. I've gotten into poker a while ago and one of the platforms has re-kindled my interest into crypto poker. Would like to know more of such platforms.

Re: How can I stay calm while gambling.

My fellow forum memebers, I don't know if any of you is like me who doesn't know how to remain calm when am betting. I always find myself being too agitated by the bet, it mostly happen when am watching a game that I have bet on, although even when  am not watching the match but if am just aware that the match is on, I feel agitated. Before of this my attitude, I slightly stay long while playing casino games because the longer I stay, the more disturbed I feel.
Most important rule in terms of gambling is to not gamble more than what you can afford to lose. That way, you can keep your emotions in check and not feel overwhelmed by the potential outcome of the event. If you genuinely think you are good at gambling, on the long run you will end up in profits, with good bankroll management.

Re: Are Casino signals a reality or a gambling strategy?
by
teddybear
on 17/01/2025, 18:55:14 UTC
they claim there's a casino game they know so much and could provide signals when you should play those games and they do assure their followers of almost 99% accuracy such that if you follow their signals you get to win at least 9 out of every 10 and sometimes you get to win literally all the signals.
They want people to register under their affiliate link and get addicted, so they could earn passive income at your expense. If they can win 9/10 times, I don't think they would even bother trying to help anyone else. Not worth the time and effort. Just think about it. Why would they go through the effort of convincing someone online and then trust them in giving a share of funds if won? chances are extremely low.

Re: Gambling videos and streams are so unrealistic
by
teddybear
on 02/01/2025, 06:21:34 UTC
A friend talked to me the other day about how they were tempted to go play some slots after seeing a stream for the last couple of days.

I decided why not and told him to send me a link so we can watch together for a while. During the span of 20 minutes the streamer got at least 3 jackpots of over 100x.
We all know that when playing slots it's more likely than not that you end up burning your entire balance before you can win anything significant. Surely you could get a few wins here and there but not enough to remain in profit forever.

So this got me suspicious and I started digging. On online forums like this one many people have observed that streamers and those doing slot videos on YouTube have very unrealistic streaks.
Of course this raises suspicions but casinos keep doing these sponsored streams.

So I wonder what could possibly be going on here. Is it normal to see so may wins as the streamers get? And if you see this, doesn't it make you less likely to trust a casino hosting something seemingly so suspicious?
There are a ton of non verifiable aka. rigged slots and similar games online. Most of them are sponsored by the same casinos to generate more views for potential customers(prey). They rig it during these streams so that the streamer wins frequently and making it compelling for people to register and start losing their money.

On 2nd thoughts, not that keen on selling but if anyone is interested, please let me know. It's going to be a complicated and long process to completely handover the account without it being possible to retrieve.

I don't think it'll workout even if he does know the score before the sportsbook updates. Sportsbooks(at least the major ones) are extremely quick to iron out the delays in score updating as well as block the bets while the point is ongoing. A few times it does happen when they are delayed to block but its fairly rare. If it does happen with a substantial amount being wagered, they usually just void the bet.

That being said, most sportsbooks don't want a customer who's consistently winning. They'll restrict the betting sections if needed to not lose out on potential profits.

final verdict: It's possible once in a blue moon with low stakes but in the end, they'll catch on the trend and either restrict the wagers or remove the selections completely.

Any thoughts on UFC 310 ? Cheesy I'll start.

1) Main card was kinda boring. Asakura can go back to Rizin. Have huge questions who should Pantoja face next.

I mean...  What did everybody really expect?  Some guy itt said Asakura would win via KO before we see the championship rounds.  LOL.

Anyway here are the results.  It was a decent event for me.  But I love MMA so much I could even find a so so ONE FC event and I'd still love it.  Cheesy

Ciryl Gane def Alexander Volkov

How did Ciryl Gane beat Volkov? Did I watch the same event as the Judges? What are they smoking? Even Dana White thought that Volkov won that easily and he got robbed. Dana also said that he'll talk to Volkov and make things right. I guess that means there will be a rematch with Gane again? That should most likely be the case or give Volkov a title shot and whoever wins, faces Gane next. Which is less likely to happen.
