Re: Why is one 7850 at 78 degrees, but other two at 54 and 57?

Are you using Afterburner?  You're monitoring temp, but what about CPU useage?  I have 4 7950s, and I have a similar problem.  They all run around 73 Celsius, but one consistently runs at 79-80.  Ive noticed via the CPU usage all 3 cards running at 73 C   jump between 99% useage to 64% usage.  They just toggle back and forth all day.  I was concerned at first, but it keeps the temp down, and I'm still get a good hash rate.  My problem card (4rth card) runs at 98 - 99% max useage all the time, thus, the temp stays pretty high.  Same setting as the other 3 card, but it won't toggle

Why is Dwolla still a deposit option on Mt. Gox??

I'm aware that the the US DHS seized the Dwolla account associated with Mt. Gox, so I was surprised when I just logged into my Mt.Gox account and saw Dwolla still up as a deposit option.

Did I miss something?  Or is Mt. Gox just letting people deposit into a seized account?  Surely Dwolla will reject deposits to this account?  I'm tempted to try a small amount.  Either way, shame on Gox

Sounds like you're trying to buy some shady stuff.... Grin   Kidding.  Yeah, Alibaba is ramped with scammers.  I actually originally found my supplier on Aliexpress.com, then noticed he had a larger catalog on Alibaba.com  It was really nice paying with BTC, hopefully this will continue to be an option for me.

I used Bitcoin for Alibaba Industrial Order

Hello all,

Second post for me.  I routinely purchase printing equipment from a Chinese company I originally found on Alibaba several years ago.  The traditional route (At least for me), was to use the built in Escrow system (Some Extra Fees, but I liked the security).  After I'd done significant business with the company, I went with the international Bank Wire...not a lot of fun, but it got the job done.  I've been asking my supplier to look into accepting bitcoins for several months, on Monday, I was able to pay in BTC!!  The order are never huge purchases, $500 - $4000, but it was nice.  Additionally, the company seemed enthusiastic to accept bitcoin, as opposed to several months ago, when they knew nothing about it.  I'm not trying to start anymore China hype....there's plenty of that.  I feel like I've done something for "bitcoin" in my own little way.

Alibaba has unlimited bitcoin potential.  Even if it only catches on in an unofficial capacity.  I'm not asking for much...just a "We Accept Bitcoin" logo for the enlightened sellers.....Alibaba does more business than ebay and amazon combined.

Re: My first Day trade....or 2 day trade

The point he's making is: If OP bought his 1000BTC for $150 each, then did this buy/sell business, he wouldn't be in profit, he would be mitigating his losses. That's just how I interpreted it (the post I made earlier shows how this was not the case, however the theory is still valid)
I understood his point, I just don't understood why he/you for some reason think it's natural to include previous trades here. If you want to play that game, why not include every trade he's done since birth while you're at it, to figure out if he's made a total "profit" or not? Smiley

I see your point, but I'm not trying to calculate my profit with this post.  I've just seen my BTC go down slowly since last February, and I decided that I'm not comfortable having less than 1000...I just couldn't do it.  Piss poor planning on my rent situation...

Lol congratz, a nice $1000:). 1000 BTC is a large amount to own though, will you sell some later to pay your landlord?

I dipped under 1000 to make the trade, went to 950, and I couldn't take it.....I felt like something was missing...I had to get them back.  I got lucky, simple as that.

I get paid next week, so I'll just pay the $35 late fee.  My landlord is decently cool,  despite his lack of BTC acceptance

So you are going to be a $ milionaire :-) congrats, I wish I had 1000 bitcoins

Ha!..God I hope so.  I got most of my coins last November.  I had 2000 at one point....I can't even imagine getting back to 2000 now.  You can get to 1000!!!  one BTC at a time!

Nice trade, always good to make profit. How many did you sell.

50 coins....nothing crazy.  Of course, I wish I'd sold every coin I owned, and re-bought, but don't we all.

I've decided to keep 1000 coins for the long haul.  Any that I get over that, I'll probably convert to fiat, or try to use for products/services.

Very Cool, I'm stuck waiting for me wire transfer to come through so I can buy some.

I hope you didn't wire directly to Gox.....took 12 days for me last time, and that was couple months ago...

Completely by accident.  I needed some Fiat to pay my rent (My landlord is clown and won't accept BTC)....I sold earlier in the week at $115....then bought back yesterday at $93....I just couldn't resist.  Rent can wait.

Hello All....

I've been reading these forums for months, signed up a few weeks ago, I've been wondering why I couldn't post Sad  It's understood, I know how quickly forums can get out of control.  I'm just trying to keep up with the latest headlines, and community sentiment.  I want to make the best financial decisions that I can.

Currently:  I run a web-hosting business that accepts BTC.  I'm see slow steady growth in terms of customer's paying it bitcoin.  I also run an etsy.com store, and accept BTC.
