Monero has passed ETH in mining profitablity, can you add the updated claymore monero miner asap PLEEEEASE!  Grin   thank you

+++

use the sgminer-gm-NH-v5.5.5

no dev fee and failover pool feature too

I'll try it out, thank you!

@thefixer

what memory chipset do you have and have you tries to bios mod these cards, what motherboard you runningz170, z260,z77 etc how many cards per board

stock bios, I can't remember the memory brand msi, Z170a Sli and Asus Gamer Extreme (I think)  are the only two I have tried on so far, was thinking about swaping around more to see if problem persists, but dont want to suffer down time from mining with the current boom Smiley   I will post more details, but I have tried a lot of things without success so far.  My problem with windows is that it wont recognize more than 4 cards, or I get an error in device manager saying there aren't enough resources.  With simple miner, which I understand to be unbuntu, it will find the cards as long as above 4g is enabled.  With the 4 cards it would dual mine DCR and ETH at the expected stock hashrate  21-22 eth.   I will update with more specifics as I continue experimenting.  I am trying to learn linux and will be trying to install dual boot systems on my rigs tomorrow.

It would seem that no matter what I do, my visiontek rx470 4gb cards are stuck at a core clock of 751, only when dual mining (dcr or sc).  I have 4 rigs and have swaps boards, riser cards, etc.   They will operate normally under windows, however when using simpleminer, they will only operate at about 2/3 the hash rate.   I have 21 GPU's, 7 of them being these visiontek cards.  The problem will occur on any of my boards, and the settings for overclock does not seem to change anything at all.  I paid for my months fee, but I will have to explore alternatives if no resolution can be found.  I've posted about this before, several pages back.  My only thought is that it could be a driver issue.  Any input is appreciated.

They will mine just ETH normally with expected hasrate

Sounds like power limit in the VBIOS.

thank you i will play with this

Still  having problem with core clock sticking a 751 ONLY when dual mining (tried DCR and SIA - it does the same thing)  Doesn't matter when I set clock to in oc tool, it goes back to 751.  Other rig works fine, decent hash for non flashed cards.  Any input welcome (posted a few pages back)

Does anyone have any input on why core clock would stick at 751 ONLY when dual mining?  (it works but hash rate is 2/3 of what it should be for eth and DCR)  I have running fine on another rig with different mobo and video cards.  The problem board is Asus h170 Pro gaming with rx470 visionteks  4gb ram.  It will hash eth just fine solo, and I had it working when I was running win 10, dual mining, however with windows 10 I could only run 4 cards.  Even dropping down to four cards with simpleminer I am not able to effectively dual mine, hashes at 13-14 eth and around 400 dcr.

I have tried setting core clock to 1100 in oc tool with 1750 ram, no change.  I have used both beta drivers when they were available before update, no change.    I currently have pci speed in bios at gen 2, g6 enabled.  Cant think of any of bios settings to try but I am totally open to any input, issue is driving me crazy.  I suspect it could be a driver issue.  I have try powerstate at 7 and 4.  I can set core clcok less than 751, but it will not exceed that.  When i mine eth solo it will adjust to my settings.   My other rig functions perfectly fine, however I can not dual mine effectively with a core clock of 751.

ETH - Total Speed: 54.473 Mh/s, Total Shares: 15, Rejected: 0, Time: 00:05

I've been at this for days, any suggestions are very welcome.

bios settings: 4g encoding enabled, DMI/OPI Config & Peg port on auto, disabled audio, integrated gpu as default

I do have 4g encoding enabled, disabled audio, dmi opi auto, and using on board video as default.  PEG is set to 2nd gen as I have issues when its on auto/gen 1 or gen 3 but I will play with it more.  For now I have registered this rig under different email and solo mine eth as grouping is not implemented yet.

can someone give me an example of how the config file text should look to start mining on  miningpoolhub ?

for the config file you just put your email address in, you'll then need to log into the dashboard on the website to enter in wallet info and command parameters for your wallets

thank you for all your hard work!!

I am having an issue I haven't seen anyone else have as I have read/scanned through this thread, and I have been messing with it all night.

I have two rigs with 6 rx470's each,and thanks to simple miner os, I had them all mining at the same time.    However when I dual mine with claymore 9.3 eth+dcr my mhz on cards on one rig stay at 7xxmhz instead of the 1100 or so I have them at.  I believe this is why the hashrate is low on one rig when I dual mine.  The one having issues are visiontek 4gb 470s on an ASUS h170 progamer board.

However I can use the eth miner just fine with the hashrate i'd expect for non-flashed/not overclocked cards.    Any input is welcome!

Didnt have an issue with cards in windows 10 however I have never had all of them working.  Thank you again!  btw I am happy to donate/pay fee for your excellent service/software!
Can you try setting in Overclock:
1100/1900 and powerstage to 6 or 7
If this wont help try setting, also after you set those numbers please do "reboot"
core: 6
memory: 0

Thank you for your reply!

fyi they are visiontek rx470's

Yes I have attempted to set clock in overclock setting my memory runs at 1750, so I am not sure 1900 is best setting for mem, but I tried that anyway, but it reverts to 751 only when I dual mine on one rig.  Powerstage set to 7, no change at all.  If remove the dcr command line and use claymore 9.3, it will mine just eth at a normal hashrate.  I've rebooted 40+ times.    I am not sure what you mean by core:6  memory:0    but I tried setting core clock to 6 and memory to 0 and rebooting, and it launched with a core clock of 300 and didn't hash well.  When I increase it, it the core clock will never go above 751 while dual mining.

  The other rig that works well has different rx470's and a different main board, asrock h97(no problems at all).

** update   I've also tried the beta updates for kernal and amd driver, no change.  I have also removed 3 cards, and still no change while dual mining.  Any suggestions are welcome
