My friends are getting in a lot of AirDrop campaigns which are valuable (as they said) but I think it will be valuable only if you have time for it except for the Twitter/Facebook like/share campaigns. I found that all other campaigns will require a lot of our time.

Re: Leave full time office job to trade crypto?
by
therulemaster
on 31/01/2018, 09:30:01 UTC
I just quit my office job to have full time in crypto world. I split my time of day to work manything: doing bounty campains, researching good crypto to invest, trading 3 - 4 times per week (not day trading) and may be next time i'll  learn about mining.
Anyone who has been off work like me can share your experiences?
In my opinion, quitting office job in  exchange of being full time in trading depends on the person's job and life situation.  My husband just do not renew his contract last December 2017 because he wanted to pay more attention on his crytos.  At first, I found it unpractical so we argue and I encouraged him not to do it.  But upon explaining his situation considering the fact that the earnings he got from his office work in a certain college here in our province is just break even to our expenses plus the time of travel he consumed from work going home leads him to forlorn his crypto accounts and he cannot engage in any campaigns, investing and trading where he computed that we loss our possible chance of earnings because of that.

His bitcoin and altcoin earnings now is greater than what he received from his former office job plus he can give more family time to us so, I still support him with his decision of leaving his office job into crypto jobs.

Thanks for your sharing from the perspective of a wife Cheesy and now you are in too right? lol

Re: Bitcoin - time to buy or sell?

I think that now is a great opportunity to buy bitokoyn, later we will see it even higher. Bitcoin has fallen now, so you can buy. Of course, maybe there will be a test of 9000 dollars. But I'm just waiting for a breakthrough
If i was you i won't invest in BTC at this moment because we actually know nothing gonna happen at least in the next 3 weeks. Better don't invest if you don't have any ideals about it.

Re: How Do You Secure Your profits?

i think the only way to protect your profits good is withdrawing to your wallets or exchange all of them to Tether (USDT) Which has a stable price and you will not be fear of the fluctuation while you're sleeping.

The place for keeping crypto is depending on your works and what do you want to do with your cryptos, like you can't let them in your wallets all the time if you want to trade right ? Specially right now when the fee transaction is insane.

Re: How do I grow my btc?

the best way I think to increase the amount of bitcoin we have is to invest in ICO ato trading bitcoin or alcoint, if you want a safe then simply hold at a certain time it will benefit.
Nope, that isn't the best way according to my experiences, do you know on 100 people who invested only 30 people make profits with it and the rest are loss? Specially it's a crypto market ( the biggest fluctuation market ) . Yes you earned profits from it but you could lose them all at anytime.

Re: Are you all in when trading?

This would produce the most gains , but if you predict wrong you could be stuck waiting for the price to either come back up or down to get back in. I did this the other day. I sold and bought back in at what I had predicted was going to be the next upswing. However some last second sellers swooped in and dropped the price below my limit. Then it just continued to fall from there. Now I sit and wait for the price to come back up to my purchase price so I can get back at it. I hate waiting. I get antsy. I should have left some money in reserve so I could have at least bought in at the bottom. I got greedy. Now I wait.  Sad

I never go all in when trading. Some of my biggest trades are 5% of my portfolio position size. Going all in is emotionally straining.
Wow 5% , i doubt about how much you spend on trade? Because 5% of 100k$ is just 5k$ and the profit of 5k$ would be not much . So i guess you work on trading as a part-time work for extra income right ?

Well I guess not necessarily. The amounts you have supplied yourself might be misleading to what he actually meant. But I agree with his strategy to never go all in because you can never be too certain about what is going to happen.

I have a friend who tried trading and he won around 10 Bitcoins just because of a single try. Eventually, though, he got greedy. He did not cash out even when Bitcoin's price is already amounting to $19,750. Look where his greed took him -- of course, he is down to 3 Bitcoins because he lost in trading. What is more is that the price of Bitcoin has declined around the last week of 2017 up until present.  Currently he is holding, just like someone in this thread. The lesson to learn here is to never put all your eggs in one basket.
Can i ask how much your friend spend on trading ? 10 Bitcoins profits isn't a small number and in trading , the first rule is spending many to earn a little ( of course there are exceptions but it's very rarely). Greedy is the worst thing you can get in trading and gambling , remove it to protect your income would be lovely if that coin goes down.

That's the worst decision that you've done in your life if you do that.Always remember the golden rule in Crypto investment "Invest the money that you can afford to lose". Even you can make it double or triple i suggest not to put it all specially if it's not just your extra money.
Actually many people are depending on the income from cryptocurrencies in this forum, they chose it at their main job and spend all the time for it but the point is they're good at it. So i guess your golden rule isn't wrong but it isn't right too. My golden rule is "Doing whatever you're good at it".

If the OP is really good at trading or investing , just keep doing it because it could become your main jobs like entire people in this forum .

Re: I BUY GOLD OR BITCOIN?
by
therulemaster
on 24/01/2018, 12:58:16 UTC
I support Bitcoin because it has a great advantage to raise prices and reach a value of one hundred dollars. We know that Gold is most popular because it is the first thing we pay for our natives. It is also history and comes from natural resources. But the world changed and began to accept technology that changed everything. Even the money we use has been smart over time.
There is a point that you're missing , it's Bitcoin will be limited in the next decade which means it's hardly to own a bitcoin not likely golds. Golds in natural haven't been mined yet. There are TONS of golds over there so we could easily own more golds in the future . Bitcoin actually dominates gold as this feature.

Re: How to choose good coin!?
by
therulemaster
on 24/01/2018, 11:49:40 UTC
Most of the coins that are ranked high, these are often the potential coin and development team are always very good, they always have many plans to develop in the future, we choose them, we will receive great benefits. Now is my own experience, I usually evaluate a coin is good or bad depending on the community of that project, if they have a strong community and always support the project, the development trend in the future will be huge, then the field they contribute
I disagree with you, coins on the present top right now are coin that already developed and it's not worth to invest in if you're a big-think man or else you won't earn good profits as bottom coins can give to you. So i guess better to select the bottom coin which is potiental to invest rather investing top coin right now.

You have to do some researches. First of all you have to learn some general thins about coins and icos. What are good points and that are nogos. Then you have to know what project is behind the coin. And if your new in this sector, you have to do some researches about that. So you have to do a lot of work.
People persists tell us about find the team project bla bla bla ,... but do you know the real facts about most of coins is the team development which showing up is anonymous or fake id , none of them reall have a true identification. So how can you just spot a good coin by checking a name that doesn't exist or being fake?

Re: Are you all in when trading?

it is a very idiot way to use all the money you have to invest in cryptos, crypto market is very fluctuative all the time, so even a good trader must be affraid of choosing to trade all their money or not, because in cases the price of a crypto can makes trader become million in a night or loosing all if the price to the bottom, so that is why many traders give us advice to split into the money many parts to invest in many cryptos.

Trading is good because we can get a profit in just a day but we don't need to put all our money on it because at the first place we are not sure in the coin we have, we don't know if the coin will increase tomorrow or the price are going down, trading is risky that's why we need to be careful in putting our money.
Gambling and trading are the same, the most different thing from it is if you lose in trading, you will lose a bit not all. But with gambling, your money is all gone....

Re: Patience and Holding
by

patience are not everything , if you think with only being patient you could reach the target of having profit through trading then you guys are wrong. everyone seems to be misleading to understand about the meaning of 'patience' in this matter , the real important role in trading are having a good skill to read the market situation wheter it's time to buy or sell due some big news that could affected the market? after that then you can go talking about patience to hold it a little longer or stop it to cut the loss.
Yes, i agree with you. Patience is just a door on the road to success, there are many doors else that you need many keys to open it. Sometimes , patience gives us a big loss that it's hardly to recover. Patience or Panic , Right or Wrong it's depending on the situation.

Earning some profits from trading is hard, holding them from panic-selling is much more harder. It's not about how much money you have, it's about how long those asset still be with you.
