Re: Will Bitcoin become centralized sometime in the future?
by
trk
on 28/05/2018, 11:36:40 UTC
It is not possible by system, because bitcoin was created with decentralization vision in mind
But still there is a possibility to be so, like ripple case when most of the coins are owned by individual or organization then it is possible.
Just imagine 50% of bitcoins is owned by a single person, that moment we know it is centralized

Re: If you had $50, what would you invest in?
by
trk
on 20/05/2018, 16:00:46 UTC
Depends how aggressive you want to be with it but I would spilt it up into 5 bits then pick 2 coins from the top 25, another 2 from the top 25-200, and then one coin outside that for a pure gamble. That way you diversify and at the same time are in some solid coins too.

I like this answer. Splitting it means you also divide the risk as well as divide the profit. But it is safer for a beginner to do so.
The after learning some time and get a grip of it you might use bigger amount and smaller split
Investing in ethereum also I think is still the best with safe and good potential

Re: Can somebody steal your btc?

Hi, have you ever thought this?

You know that, to import a wallet you need the private key or your seed. Taking as example the private key (the 52 letters key). It could exist the possibility someone create a software whose function was to try thousands of times to find the private key till it is be done. This would be like the process to find the new block in mining, anyway you can try the times you want in order to find it.

I think this could be a weakness, correct me if I am wrong. Smiley

Or comment if you have a kind of solution for this...

Regards!

What? Thousands of times only? LOL
You should have learned math better in class
Every digit means there are 10 possibility, with 52 digits means the possibility is 10^52, I mean 1 followed by 52 zeros behind it LOL
It is only number, because as far as I know there are alphabet as well in the private key, and even worse there are 26 possibility Grin

Re: is buying new listed coin profitable?
by
trk
on 11/05/2018, 06:43:56 UTC
Buying new listed coins are not profitable all times but if you invest in already stable coins of this market, they can gives you better returns as compare to new listed coins.

True. You cant just generalize crypto that way. Some ICOs have lowwer price than its ICO price once it hits the market while other ICOs goes high and never go back to its ICO price. You need to learn the project, the product and the team behind it not only generalizing the method.
And now it is all getting a lot more difficult as more and more ICOs are popping where most of them is actually useless

Re: Is Bitcoin too complicated for ordinary folks?
by
trk
on 11/05/2018, 06:40:47 UTC
Yes. I can safely say that bitcoin is complicated for me in many terms. I can't figure out technology and smart contracts. Maybe my brain isn't ready for that kind of information. Sad

You dont have to learn to read smart contract if you are not a developer, too complicated to us ordinary folks. All we need to know is the technology behind it and how to use it well. Dont bother yourself to know too much.
To make it easier to use for ordinary folks, developer needs to migrate to mobile. Make wallet, exchange, as simple as touching the phone screen. That is how we will get mass adoption

Re: Ethereum vs Bitcoin as goal of investments
by

on 11/05/2018, 06:36:29 UTC
I find it best to trade altcoin and save it in the form of ethereum and bitcoin Grin
Try to look for promising coins or tokens, then use the profit to buy more ethereum and bitcoin as those two are the best promising coins for long term
At those time, 1 ethereum probably would buy us a nice car while 1 bitcoin should buy us a nice house Tongue

Re: What if you forget your bitcoin wallet password?
by
trk
on 10/05/2018, 14:52:13 UTC
It is better to not have any bitcoin at all than losing it all because you forgot the private key LOL
But these kind of cases are very common especially for early adopter who never thought that bitcoin price will be this high. Most of them owned like hundreds of bitcoin free from mining and all they have now is regret

I was against this rule before but if you look closely, there a re too many bounty participants and a alot of them is just fake account or 1 account has multiple accounts. Even sometimes 1 person own up to 20 accounts. This is abusive and should be gotten rid off.
That is why now I quite agree with those rules, as long as they dont use our identities for something bad Angry

Is it good to leave my job to dedicate myself to full-time cryptocurrency?

Depends on how good you are in crypto compared to your previous salary. And how far you think you will go in crypto.
You know yourself best in this matter, you have all the thinking and consideration. Dont forget to ask for your family advice before deciding anything. The will be the one who always support you even if you fail

We dont know that yet, unless you come from the future and take a peek there. We are actually still i early adoption phase.
Still less than 5% of the world are joining this community. I believe this number will increase day by day.
Just enjoy the show, and dont forget to take some profit Grin

Short term investing is a gambling. Instead of trying to predict short term market prices or events, I advice you to focus on Fundamental strength of coin, its future prospects, its competitive advantage.

Agree. Most trader only follow trading advise from their local paid signal trading group without knowing the technical and fundamental of the coins they trade
I personally prefer long term one because to be honest I am not a good trader LOL
But sometimes even holding airdrop coins will reward you quite well

Re: Why do you involved in Cryptocurrency
by
trk
on 07/05/2018, 15:28:15 UTC
The reason I am involved in cryptocurrency is, I see a good chance in cryptocurrency, although there was some doubt because of the spread of negative information about cryptocurrency.

Then .. I started to learn about the world of cryptocurrency, I again find the doubt because of the high risk of investing in cryptocurrency. But in the end I was thinking, investing in cryptocurrency is indeed a high risk, But, not trying to invest much more at risk.  Cheesy Grin

That is why it is highly advised only to invest some amount you are comfortable to lose
Because of its extreme vlatility you dont know what will happen n the future
When you earn some good profit just cash out some, do not be too greedy

Re: Visa won't process Bitcoin & cryptocurrency transactions
by

Of course, you cant just expect visa to accept crypto while they are the biggest player in fiat payment market
Why do they have to risk their comfortable position to try new things?
When you do not try to accept the technology, you will find yourself left behind by the technology itself

Re: What do you think is Bitcoin become legal in all countries?

At the time bitcoin accepted worldwide, I cant see anything than finally bitcoin reaching $1M Grin
I also believe there will be a regulator to crypto, for ICO to be exact. So that it could actually become safer and more comfortable for investor by minimizing the risk of fraud and scam

I do not think you should rely too heavily on mining results, try to make other alternatives to get additional support. Such as investing or can also follow the bounty program.

Mining is currently no profitable at all, with high electricity cost, more and more miners, low price. You cant even breakdown your operational cost
So I will stay away from mining as of now. Bounty is nice but it doesnt give you much like it did before because too many participants.
Trading and investing need to be considered

Re: I'm very disappointed with myself.

on 26/04/2018, 14:40:39 UTC
Yes that situation is very disappointing but you dont have to worry because as you said that the market is always here, so you have your lesson and everyone learned from our owned mistakes. So be it and have it or do it again because theres always a second chance and of course take a deep breathe and have patience and wait for the right time to prevent disappointment.

Agree, dont be too hard on yourself. Almost everybody here is experiencing same problem.
Market is unpredictable so that is pretty normal not to be able to predict it. That is why some people prefer hodling to daytrading because they arent good at it. We will learn from our mistake and be better Smiley

Re: ICO is new way to get Free money?
by
trk
on 26/04/2018, 14:22:16 UTC
Yes, the ICO is the new trend type of investment. They are the best company and legit as well who gives a huge return on investment in just short period of time without too much paper works to fill-up and be answered.

LOL what an answer
You invest in ICOs that way like a cowboy, I am pretty sure you will eventually lose money.
Investing in ICO is not that easy. Many research and time are required to identify each project, team, ideas, product, etc.
Many people are now investing by following hype which is very dangerous

Re: Will the government ban bitcoin?
by
trk
on 26/04/2018, 14:19:50 UTC
Governments aren't going to ban Bitcoin now. It has become too big to fail now. Billions of dollars have been invested into Bitcoins. Government isn't going to straight out ban a thing with such a big market cap.

Unfortunately, government doesnt care about marketcap.
They have power to create regulations for their own country as they see fit.
So, yes it is possible and some countries will like we can see now.
But bitcoin, again, is to big to fail. They can ban it, but they surely cannot kill it

Re: How often do you join airdrop?

Not likely to join any airdrop anymore, time wasting...I have sign up to so many airdrops and none of them are sending the token to me. So I guess its better to do bounty than airdrops.

Exactly. I joined a lot of airdrop last year when it was booming. But most of them just collecting our identity and spamming our email
Most of them are worthless and has no value so I prefer bounty and invest than airdrop now
Not worth it at all now

Re: Long term vs. Short term

I prefer long-term investments. At the beginning of my bitcoin activity, I tried to trade coins, but I did not get anything good, so now I just keep the perpsective coins in my wallet.

You mean prospective? LOL

I did too. I am not good in trading and I realize that. That is why I keep on hodling.
But I shouldve swing trade sometimes, and rebuy cheaper.
But nevermind, I still believe in the coins I hodl Smiley
