Rejected from the FIMK forum registration! Is it for Europeans only? Or my anonymous email address perhaps (but isn't privacy half of the game here?) I can't imagine any other reason. I thought admin verification was merely an anti-spam formality. It appears not. I feel outcast snd even censored - - strangely before I've even spoken at all.

I was using cxbass. I've now changed it to trl55238 on the coinsource site for simplicity's sake and registered again.

Little is quite the understatement.. No activity whatsoever is more like it. None on the English based resources anyway --website or forums. Either there's a monumental amount of effort going into some undertaking supporting an aspect of FIMK that hasn't been revealed to the general community, or this has been an extremely successful quarter million dollar scam. If the former is the case it would only explain the absence of the devs and not the other members of the team. It makes me worry more than just a little that merely a fraction of that IPO money could easily purchase a good amount of quality marketing, public relations, web-design, etc. and yet by all appearances none of that has happened. We're not even on a single exchange at the moment!
They could pass out a bit of coin to anyone that submits proof they've contacted the bter people to list FIMK and/or prove they're actively been voting for it. That would get FIMK on there in no time at all. A faucet voluntarily funded by those of us that feel generous would be pretty easy to do as well. These are just some among many things other groups have accomplished in short time with much less resources at their disposal.
the project has been overtaken by scam artists. There are good people in NXT. The forums at this point are virtually unusable.

This was one scam, and the mods are working out the details right now but it is looking like John's email account was hacked.
Not sure why this is pushing you to trash talk NXT though.
If you look at his posts on nxtforum, he was increasingly adversarial to the community in the last few weeks. This was only a matter of time.

In total he sold more than 60 nemstakes ($1500 each) on asset exchange and he still has approximately 150. all this information is Public.

Your answer can be found on the first page.
- Fair distribution (call for participation) with 3000 stakeholders
- Proof of intent (distinct form proof of work and proof of stake)
- Large, skilled, development team. Gimre and Jagaur were contributors to NxT. The other developers had roles in other successful coins.
POI = Proof-of-Importance (not intent; this is not mineable)
I've heard proof of Interest mentioned before. I must admit, i prefer Proof Of Interest over Proof Of Importance. Seems to fit the community spirit NEM is trying to cultivate. Even moreso when you consider it's egalitarian principles -- "Importance" kinda doesn't fit that message, yet anyone who invests more time and energy (Interest) in supporting the infrastructure (and said principles), deserves to be rewarded.
So, in a nutshell, i think it should be referred to as Proof of Interest, not Importance
Which reminds me, i need to read up more about how to run nodes as it is something i will be happy to participate in once the ball (coin) gets rolling.
dont talk to much shit, it is and called all the time "Proof of Importance" , and it is infact a real good choice to call it like that. So dont come on with your fantasy choice. Proof of Impotance sounds it is important and infact it is the best choice to explain the mechanism of NEM.

Thanks guys. I really appreciate it! I'll keep on top of it with support like you've suggested. The only reason I took this public was that I was worried if I let enough time pass without bringing it up that my claims would be dismissed and I'd never have a chance to get my coin back.
I had problems with them that took about a week to sort out once. They sorted it out in the end and apart from that I had no other problems with them. In my opinion it's highly unlikely you will lose your coins, you will probably have a frustratingly long wait.

It's comforting to know that stuff like this does get resolved in the end. I'll just wait it out then.I wish they would have just addressed my concerns instead of ignoring me. I know 25000 Nxt is nothing to them, but it definitely means something to this small time guy.
