They sell out within the hour that the batch is released and they're website is known to slow down or crash when they are released. I would suggest setting a reminder to make sure you catch the release day.

Re: Should I trade my Bitcoin Cash/Gold for Bitcoin/Altcoins?
by

In my humble opinion Bitcoin cash/gold hasn't got the potential of Bitcoin. There's also very few alt coins out there which are going to be competing with Bitcoin in a few years time. I would cash out and either invest in a coin which you think is promising or convert it all to Bitcoin.

Re: Bitmain order tracking problem. Help plase?
by

Hello;

My order shipped few days ago from Bitmain to Russia with Xiang gao courier. But i can not find any website related this courier company to check my tracking number even i tried on 17track.com

How can i find my order status?

Thanks for your support

Did you receive the product?

yes i received 2 weeks ago. bitmain delivered goods to customs on time but custom process took 3 weeks in china side. Finally i reached them Smiley

thaks your all comment and sorry for late response

Thanks for the update. I think this is important to consider is that bitmain isn't always the issue when it comes down to shipment issues and the customs will almost always look into mining equipment being shipped overseas.

Re: Reviews needed for a new crypto exchange platform
by

Hi!

Thank your for your reply.

I do not really need a biased review. I was hoping for an honest review of our exchange by a popular blogger or two, so people could start to hear about our exchange platform and maybe give it a try. Any idea on how to achieve this for a start-up on low budget?

Forum signature is an interesting idea. How much would it cost? I will think about it.

But anyway, ideally I would still hope to get a review as well...

Depends on what sort of rank you want to attract I suppose and what they are willing to work for. Maybe reach out to some of the popular members here and see if they would try your service and leave a honest review.

You aren't going to get those coins back unless you have the private key to the funds and I'm not sure what the legality would be to claim them depends on why the site was shut down and if funds have been claimed by them.

Paid views are frowned upon and you'll find not a lot of the higher ranked members willing to put their name to a paid review. You would be better off hiring certain members of the forum to advertise your site in their signature.

You should forget your account, there are zero chances to lift the ban as copy paste are strictly not allowed on this forum. I would suggest you to use this account and contribute genuinely to this forum, your account rank will be increased by the time.

What your suggesting is to ban evade which isn't allowed neither. People who got banned are allowed to create an account to post in meta only.

I think todays price has now really put it up in the air and some people are actually believing it. Bitcoin doubled earlier this year and people were calling for a correction but since then it's just continued to break records.

Re: It's forking season !!! When it will end? List of Bitcoin Forks (Daily Updated)
by
truthstalker
on 27/11/2017, 20:18:18 UTC
While claiming coins from every fork, there is effort involved in terms of separating coins. You also lose some privacy when you exchange your forked coins. At some point, people will conclude that the gains you make is not worth it. Given the number of forks happening, you may reach the point very soon.

The forks that happen and don't get the majority vote the less the forks are going to be considered as improvement and more shitcoin attempts which  could potentially hurt Bitcoin in the future when we have some worth while forks. Most of these listed are bullshit shitcoins.

A lot of experts are currently predicting that a crash or price correction will occur but are you going to be a sheep and listen to them or someone who makes their own decisions?

Re: Suggestion: Ban "list" threads
by
truthstalker
on 27/11/2017, 20:14:24 UTC
Maybe they can make a bot-mod to automatically move these generic topics in trashcan? I think it is of demand in sections where spamming is happening mostly. As far as I know, only Beginners & Help section has this but I'm not sure if that bot is also trashing useless topics.

Anything automated could become a problem and have legitimate threads being trashed.

It's been suggested before to exclude certain boards from counting as Activity.

You get threads like this all the timehttps://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2467953.0
The Newbie you're talking about has an account older than mine, 18 Posts, and created 16 topics!

I'm not against allowing Newbies to create new topics, but there should be a limit. All of his 16 topics are useless, and apparently creating a topic is easier to spam than posting in a thread. This way, his shitposts can't be offtopic, even though topics like that have been created countless times already.

Another beauty:
How and where do you purchase iota?
One spammer creates a thread, countless other spammers gladly "reply" and spam more.

I'd say hopper28755 should just be nuked.

Although it's been discussed to not count towards activity I don't think that would affect the threads which are being mentioned here as they would likely be in the alt coin discussion which is one of the most popular boards.

i will try hard to grow in this forum Smiley i think is a good idea the rank division... but I really hope the time between one post and another one will reduce soon because i'm reading a lot and is bad to not reply as well Smiley

When you reach jr member the waiting time reduces down to something like 60 seconds and continues to decrease as your activity gets bigger. By member you should no longer run into the problem.

Re: Newbies can now pay a small fee to enable images
by

I fear that, scammers will be benefited with this new liberty. Newbies might misuse it to run the scam, admin should keep regular check on these accounts and if there are any suspicious activities found, then this feature should be revoked.

How is posting an image going to encourage scams in any way? Images are disabled for those annoying memes and stuff that newbies tend to post on other forums. If they do that then they will get banned pretty quickly and just wasted a little bit of money doing so.

There's isn't no black magic the only thing you can do is either receive the amount directly to your main wallet or transfer the bitcoin with longer intervals in between. So like every 6 months or so. Isn't the most safe way though.

If you want to continue using bitcoin core I think there used to a torrent which allowed you to download the blockchain faster. It was from a legit source like a developer I believe. But I'm not sure if this is still offered.

I think there's other issues with p2p and there's  going to be a lot of trust issues when dealing with another person. For some reason a lot of people see exchanges to be all trustworthy despite history.

I'm a big fan of Trezor and have owned one for the last few years and would recommend using them if you are want to use a hot wallet whilst being 100% sure that it's safe from any malicious activity on your computer.

Do not make any FUD. There is no official info about beeing hacked. The funds is in all wallets we can check the addresses. No BTC was moved from there. Stop talking shit.

They have so many accounts that it's going to take a while for all those funds to be moved and not a lot of people have the private keys meaning they have all the time in the world to move the funds.

Are you getting a link sent to your email which you have to click to verify the browser? If so you could be clicking on an onion one which will not let you access the wallet.

There's a lot of accusations circulating around right now about yobit and if the Bitcoins have already been stolen then none of us will be able to help you. The only people who will be able to help is yobit themselves so just contact their support.
