how much does the Airdrop worth? Just asking so we will know if it is worth to join. I hope you understand as some are doing Airdrop just to collect email addresses from BCT users and sell them for marketing.

I totally understand

You can earn around 6$ if you don't complete other tasks. With other tasks you can earn around 11$.

I never turn down free money. Thanks for the heads up!  Good luck on your project!

Any restrictions on level of accounts for Bounties?
Can you clarify the "Articles" portion?  Articles posted to specific forums or places?

Some bounties will need a JR level on Bitcointalk, others such as the airdrop will open to everyone that wants to participate.

We will have more details about the specifics on the bounty campaign, including article generation, in about 2 weeks.

Doh, thanks for the heads up.  At least I can participate in the Air Drops.  I look forward to your more news soon(ish)

Any Pig Latin translation bounties?  Grin

find a large but suitable pump group, toss your $50 into an obscure altcoin and try to flip it 2 or 3x.  Then invest it into a more secured coin like IOTA or EOS

Re: Why alts are going down?

Introduce fiat on the equation and both going down because funds are going to fiat is also possible, other option is markets exchanging alts for btc at some stage.

Exactly.  You have to take into account the trading pair distribution when taking into account altcoin growth.  When swapping between currencies, you are creating a large amount of sell orders which messes up the price of altcoins.

This is indeed intriguing.

Is there a way to see the mined tokens on Etherscan? I can only see them in MetaMask and MEW.

We already contacted with https://ethplorer.io/ to make it seeable. But you can add the Contract address to any ERC20 wallet to show it.

Ive tested this multiple times but still cant see it

Will you be adopting delivery service like Uber is opening up too?  I believe this cash cow is ready for disruption and look forward to getting in on the ground floor for a knockoff project.  I will keep a close eye on this one.

Personally I use coinomi wallet, supports multiple currencies + most (all?) of eth tokens. And they tend to support popular forks (credit you with coins from forked chain).
I hear Jaxx wallet is also good, but haven't tried it yet.

Always check whether you're downloading authentic wallet, often fake ones pop up - those will steal your coins (+ possibly infect you with malware). Always do the due diligence.

Add me to the coinomi wallet club.  Very intuitive and seems to support all the altcoins I throw at it.

Re: Will all altcoins go in the way of the ASIC miner eventually?
by
twothirtyfive

So would I be right in saying due that due to ASIC miners it's not profitable anymore to mine by GPU for bitcoin or even litecoin now?

Correct. ASICs blow them out of the water. But the bigger problem is the stranglehold ASIC makers have over any coin that uses them. It's a super specialised area and a very hard one to succeed so this breeds centralisation.

That's why many people favour GPU mining. The actual hardware makers probably don't actually want anything to do with cryptocurrencies which makes for a much healthier situation.

Because ASICs are otherwise totally useless it's only natural that the people designing and making them will mine with them too, and hoard them.

This was amazingly helpful.  If I had merit, I would of awarded you some.  Will we ever see GPU company's put some form of hardware fail safe that will prevent this, or will the demand of the bottom line and its shareholders continue keeping the price of cards at an all time high?

Working in the IT field, I see this happen all the time with clients.  I feel for you and your loss.  I hope future ICO's can incorporate more images into their proofs so you can verify  websites easier.  I always train my customers to hover over links before clicking anything to make sure it matches where you want to go.

Re: Future of crypto currencys
by

One side think that crypto currencys will be the future, but on the other sinde there are a lot of people who think it´s just a big bubble which will explode.

Both sides are correct.

Blockchain technology / Cryptocurrencies are the future.
Bitcoin is a big bubble that will pop.  I feel it is overvalued right now.

100% agree.  But I do intend on cashing in while the body i still warm =P

Re: Will crypto replace fiat money?

Will never happen.  There is no way to generate more tokens when the government inevitably needs to "borrow" more money...lol
