Could be worse, at least coins still up.

Why don't you guys just start solo mining MRCclassic to get the chain moving again if all the pools are down.  Diff will obviously be very low so whoever starts mining even with a wimpy setup will be finding blocks.  These are the kind of things that the MRC/Alcurex team should have already thought out in advance.

hit 8 blocks solo on wallet classic, i still need to get my 100 mil mrc to alcurex to exchange. need more people to get the block chain moving.

Transactions remains unconfirmed, i have 25 connections and last block 15 hours ago. Look like no one is mining, so no new blocks. I can't send anything to alcurex to change it to MRC2.

in same boat - i'd mine but none of the pools are up.

OLD MRC network have many "not confirmed" transactions in alcurEX wallet. All confirmed will get balanced automatically
Seems there may have fork issue with network.
If you send OLD MRC, First make small transfer to make sure you are in same fork with alcurEX

how do we get on the same fork, i have added only these nodes to microcoin.conf file and started to download the blockchain again ?
these nodes are from the alcurex wallet discovered nodes.

I have sent 100 mrc as a test to Alurex.

Do we need to update the GPU miner now as we are required to update the wallet file to 0.2.0.037?

no - i believe patch was to fix the attack on the blockchain - all cryptonote type coins are effected.

Hi, first time posting here, not new though. I have a question. I have qcn on poloniex and they are closing qcn-trade. How do I get a wallet downloaded on my pc. I am runnung windows 8. I tried to download on quazarcoin.org but didn't find the wallet on my pc.

similar to all other by bytecoin, xmr,duck etc etc

run quazarcoind.exe
wait for it to sync
run simplewallet.exe ( follow prompt - )
Create new wallet ( eg quazarcoin.bin)
in the folder there will be a txt file with your wallet address inside ( eg quazarcoin.bin.address.txt )

dont like msi installer ?

http://thebackroomtech.com/2007/08/23/howto-extract-files-from-a-msi-file-using-the-windows-command-line/

Code:
To extract files from a .msi file at the command line, type:

msiexec /a PathToMSIFile /qb TARGETDIR=DirectoryToExtractTo

For example, to extract files from f:\zenworks\zfdagent.msi into c:\zfd701 you would type:

msiexec /a f:\zenworks\zfdagent.msi /qb TARGETDIR=c:\zfd701

The destination directory does not need to exist prior to running this command.

[2014-08-14 11:28:09] 6 miner threads started, using 'wildkeccak_ocl' algorithm.

so sad,just run after find gpu and got error..

alert minerd.exe is pause

tested with my 750  and 270x,win8 and win7,bbr.farm,my pool,cncoin pool...

mine works fine 4 x r9 290 = 3.5 MHs or 970khs per card ( win8.1 and 2012R2 )

4 card amd rig

boolbd.exe --start-mining=1K5BH.....rCLe9gxXF --mining-threads=4

boolbd.exe --start-mining=[address] --mining-threads=[n]

n - number of GPUs to use

Doesn't seem to be working though.

When I try 4 threads I get an error about CL_Name and platform index must be between 0 and some huge number.

Tried alter device index also, but still the same.

Only one gpu shown working in gpu-z

Do I need a certain version of driver maybe? I'm on 13.251 Catalyst 13.12

I'm currently running win8.1 and win2012 r2 14.7beta , each box has 2 x R9 290 Tri-x OC

hr on each box is 1972600

msi afterburner shows both gpu at 100%

OK, what am I doing wrong?

I have a 4 card AMD rig, but can only get one card mining using boolbd to solo.

My json:

"current_extra_message_index": 0,
  "device_index": 3,
  "difficulty": 16777215,
  "donation_decision": true,
  "donation_decision_made": false,
  "donation_descision": true,
  "donation_percent_opencl": "2.0",
  "kernel": "wild_keccak.cl",
  "kernel_type": 0,
  "platform_index": 0,
  "thread_delay": 100,
  "work_size": 262144

my start.bat:

boolbd.exe --start-mining=1K5BH.....rCLe9gxXF --mining-threads=1

Tried all sorts of combos but only ever get one card running.

Also, if I am soloing, why is it telling me I'm getting shares?

4 card amd rig

boolbd.exe --start-mining=1K5BH.....rCLe9gxXF --mining-threads=4

boolbd.exe --start-mining=[address] --mining-threads=[n]

n - number of GPUs to use

Without any developer interaction this is a soon to be dead coin. Is there any reason at all to believe that this coin has any future at all?

might have to update some of the pool on front page also - half of them are not working.

5.2 and 5 using GGin config.

sgminer 4.1 ( think I am using https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=658411.0;topicseen )

win8.1
14.6 rc2

hyperv2012r2 trial
14.6rc2

I follow exactly for my Asus R9 290..it just cant get the hashrate u all getting..I'm not sure why..Currently max I can go is 3.6mh/s driver 13.12 with the below config..

I found out the if I update the driver to 14.6RC2, my sgminer will have more HW errors..

for the speed boost you should use kernel x11/x13mod and clean install new drivers v14.6/rc2, like this: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=623409.msg7642920#msg7642920

for to fix the HW at amd v14.6/rc2 errors follow this post: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=658438.msg7555998#msg7555998

My cards are saphire r9 290 tri-x, other miner at work gets 5MHs on his stock R290.
Also i have disabled xfire.
