$2000 should be any problem for ETH. IMO, crypto will achieve a higher ATH than last year. In this case, ETH price should hit more than $2000 easily. My personal target is $2500 to $3000 by end of 2018.

Panic selling happens when investors sell their coins after hearing some bad news. The effect to the coins will usually be a sharp decline in price since supply suddenly exceed the demand. The price might rebound when people start to pick up the coin at a low price.

No, I don’t feel bad about my portfolio since the it is overall in profit. These are the coins I have hold for more than 2 years. This is why I believe about holding for the long term.

For long term investment in altcoins, I will recommend ETH, Neo, Omg and Monero. These are the coins I think will grow in price and safe to hold for more 2 years. Just my humble opinion, please do your own research before investing.

My worst experience is with Poloniex, it take a long time like 1 month or 2 for the support to reply to my ticket and give me irrelevant answer.

As for binary trading predications, there are alots of analysts around claiming to give accurate and profitable signals. IMO, it is better not to engage such services because there are lots of scams around. You are better off researching and make your own bet.

My strategy in crypto investing is #1 and #4. In bear market, it is better to hold the coins than selling in lost. I choose to hold my coins.

If I have spare money, I will take the opportunity to buy more coins at low price and wait for the market to recover.

There is no standard investment portfolio. The ratio of coins depend on the level of risks you are willing to take.

Just for reference, I am willing to take medium risk level. My investment portfolio is usually 50% in BTC, 30% Altcoins and 20% in ICO project.

Low volume doesn’t mean the project is worthless. Most importantly, you have to look at the project itself to determine whether it is worth investing in. Newer project does not start with huge trading volume, we might get a gold mine if we invest in the right one.

You have to share the coin name for us to advise. If the developer didn’t abandon the project, I don’t think we can say it is scam atm.

In any case, 2.5 month is not a long period for a new coin to be listed to an exchange or development to push the price up.

Personally, I think the bigger risk investors met when investing in crypto are the scams and hacks going on. Being a starter in crypto, it is kinda hard to determine the phishing websites and scams to lure their private keys.

It is possible for an uneducated person to get involved in crypto as long as he is able to read and learn the knowledge. I believe hardworking is more important than being educated. There are lots of self learnt successful traders, programmers and etc.

In layman terms, Bitcoin and ERC20 tokens are built in different blockchains. Hence the addresses are different since it is the result of a mathematical operation. You can’t send Bitcoin to ERC20 address.

It is better to diversify your investment risks by investing in several types of coins. Depending on the level of the risks you are willing to take to determine the % of each coin in your portfolio.

So far 60% of my investments in ICO projects are in profit. Most of the ICO projects I bought in year 2017 have been doing good. But due to the bear market now, I realise this year ICO projects are not doing as good. I selectively invest in a few of them.
