Actually, it all depends on each person's style of trading. Some are known to scalp while some are known to swing. Personally as a scalper as well, I really do not look for so much gains and all I am looking for is to get a good entry with a minimal stop loss, and then take advantage of the short movements upward.

However, since I still combine it with short and mid-term trading, I still take advantage of leaving out some of the profit, and then leaving it to make some good gains while I trade them when there is possible chance of seeing a trend change.

I wonder why anyone would say holding is useless. There are always two way to things, it is either you know how to trade, sell the peaks and buy the bottom if you know how to identify them, or simply just hold on to what you have if you do not have the knowledge to identify them.

It is this mindset that holding is useless that made a lot of people with no idea of trading, try to lay their hands on it without even any form of experience and knowledge and then they end up losing even much more than they would have, if they just simply held. Holding is not bad as long as you know you do not have the skills to trade the fluctuations.

I think yes and would not disagree to this. The current time is a bad time for the technology and this bad time can come to an end only if some factors like demand for the crypto rise or the stability of the coins increases which attracts potential investors due to which the prices of the crypto rise.
