So far we only have a few testers in TestNet, for our most important release ever:

Please help us test Evo and make it the best version of BiblePay!

Is there windows installer?

I think a few €uros more per month. Next round, if I'm still around and want to participate in BBP, I can ask. Otherwise, Rob can pay the BTC himself directly or put the proposal in himself. I don't think you should have to pay $40/mo to host explorer.biblepay.org though... Not fair to you and not a good value in terms of cost.

Maybe I missed something, but it seems kind of weird to just say that any one person in the community should "pay the BTC himself directly" as a funding option - right? I mean, if it's an explorer for the community, I would think that a proposal is the way to go, allowing the community to vote on if we want an explorer without ads, and if so, if we are willing to pay. I'd love to see more and more features get created, and more community outreach and involvement, but I don't think it works if we put funding decisions or upfront on any one person (even if it is the person who is making the thing).

If I misread that, my bad, happy to be corrected.

You misread that.

While I know that this has been a frustrating week, let's all take a second to thank MIP/Rob for the tireless dedication they've shown towards fixing these issues. It might feel a little chaotic, but those of us wanting more transparency and clarity in the process are getting it, and now we all know everything that goes into new feature launches and dealing with unforeseen circumstances. I'm sure we'll do things a bit differently in the future, and there are some lessons to be learned no doubt, but let's not forget to have some gratitude either.

Don't get discouraged; we'll come out of this and be able to focus on the mission.

One of the changes I'd like to see is not to use letters in builds.

Everyone that is not compiling the source themselves are confused now. Is it 1.1.9.9a or g?

Some are downloading the binary from biblepay.org/wallet while others are getting the Linux PPA.

We just need to know what we're dealing with. Many of us are ready to help mine the difficulty down with hundreds of core.

I guess we will have to compile the source to be sure: https://www.reddit.com/r/BiblePay/comments/6ummuj/how_to_mine_biblepay_on_linux/

No one is confused Sun, the latest Windows build is out there, Ive confirmed it works, Im running it on the pool, and the latest sha hash in git is always the latest and it coincides with the version.

Please quit trying to make more work for us when we do 99.9% and you constantly just complain about things.  Is there something Sun can do for the users to make the process easier?

I was confused and keep being confused until these letters are visible.
It has been multiple times now that I have downloaded the windows wallet right after post here telling new update or wallet saying there is update and then it has been old version. Someone should definitely automate this process and unfortunately it is only you who has rights to modify web site.

You can say that we are just complaining things but someone has to complain so we can make things so easy that grannys will be able to install wallet and support BBP

Earlier:
- Remove POG in Prod to prevent external attack vectors
- Fix boost::lexical cast error during syncing
- Transition to POBH POW mining only after block 107,000

Most of us cannot get past block 107029.
Wallets get stuck and reboots after a while.
I have deleted blocks and chainstate

Who is PoG @('_')@ Monkey?

You don't sanitize the nicknames? Maybe make the parser smarter and filter out anything non-alphanumeric between and ?

Who is PoG @('_')@ Monkey?

Same address has used also StopCrashingBiblePay nick.
I remember seeing this at least yesterday.

I've had the nicknames:
Code:
PoG @('_')@ Monkey

Code:
StopCrashingBiblePay

Code:
((̲̅ ̲̅(̲̅C̲̅r̲̅a̲̅y̲̅o̲̅l̲̲̅̅a̲̅( ̲̅((>

There's some cool 1 line ascii art here: https://1lineart.kulaone.com/#/

If you want, I can list all the nicknames I used.

Why, is that even relevant or important?

"StopCrashingBiblePay", that is such a Christian way to be Sun.  It figures it was you as you are hiding behind being Christian but not acting like one.

Btw, stop trying to form hate groups on discord and move users over to your own private channels.

People's messages are not being deleted if they follow the guidelines here.

Your messages won't be deleted if they are respectful and helpful and contain the Full truth (not half truths as yours and Nokos have been).

Also, Please stop being disrespectful on our forum.

Thanks for taking our chain down Sun; thats one thing Ive always disliked is hackers in prod.

Rob you are being very disrespectful. I know for sure that Sun in not hacking network and he did not bring chain down on purpose. You really need to man up and admit that developers have pushed faulty code into production in a rush. This is what bring the chain down.

What comes to those nicks I see them very differently
Code:
PoG @('_')@ Monkey
I find this very clever usage of ascii and it is art.

Code:
StopCrashingBiblePay
This one is more asking for fixing the issues into code. We have been reporting them into github and given you developers as much support as we can. Personally I have even debugged application to find out reason for crashing.

One more thing. Rob do not judge people by rumors. Sun is NOT creating hate groups. We are discussing about the things that bother us and we have right to opinions even they are not aligned with yours.

What are you going to do about the crashing masternodes? I sent you Valgrind logs as you requested but no response. Investors are losing MN payments as this node crashes daily.

Could you provide a link to where you sent me valgrind logs and there was no reply?

Additionally I have a lot of sancs on 2 providers and Im not seeing crashes.

I'm an investor too, and I don't see instability.  I worked with MIP (who is an investor also) and we spoke about the crash that happened the day after the fork and he agreed to run his in valgrind also, and neither of us have yet to have a valgrind crash log.  I don't see any valid valgrind from you - please give a link.

Btw I never received a reply that I sent you via e-mail.

I liked your POG logo much more, that was cool.

I asked for your help on github. People who are trying to help are not developers. One need to provide them step by step instructions.

Lots of illegal tithes daily.

.

I think this is during low PoG difficulty where different people are rushing to get their tithes in before PoG difficulty goes up... Then there is wackiness with mempool and unconfirmed transactions not confirming until next block(s) where PoG difficulty has changed where tithe does not meet the minimum requirements of coin age, coin amount, or max tithe amount.

I have one wallet getting offline transactions from automatic tithes on daily basis. When I reboot the wallet it will became unconfirmed and after while it is sent and it is always illegal tithe.
Is there way to remove offline tx?

You can try tools, wallet repair, zapwallettxes=1 . it might remove them on restart instead of making unconfirm and confirm as illegal tithe.

zapwallettxes=2 is destructive (will reset coin age), but zapwallettxes=1 will rescan and try to remove offline, unconfirmed, orphans, abandoned, etc.

zapwallets does this. This is not good.

Code:
exec istithelegal 0cce7c1c9c58d121c7240b583e0ecfc6a3d739b9a4475018cda3e6440a079762

{
  "Command": "istithelegal",
  "Tithe_Legal": -4,
  "Tithe_Legal_Result": "TITHE_DOES_NOT_MEET_COIN_AGE_REQUIREMENTS",
  "Tx_Time": 1552049279,
  "Tithed_Height": 105931,

My cpid is over 15 years old. What do you mean it expires in six months? Why would it expire? Last time I did exec associate again I lost 1-2 days of podc payments. Are you going to reimburse everyone for the lost time if they have to do exec associate again?

I can see what Rob means by reading this line:
"Are you going to reimburse everyone for the lost time if they have to do exec associate again?"

Guys, please be patient and communicate in a nice manner and good spirit.

Time is not lost, this is code development! and Rob is putting his precious time to support this project.
Your highest interest is to make him feel good to support us.

Our time and his time has very different value. He gets paid and we don't.

I find that to be a really weird response!!
How many wallet updates have you coded over the past month?

PM

I personally have spent hours doing tests in testnet and writing bug reports with sufficient information. I found several bugs and reported them both in github and private messages. I have reviewed commits to github since pog. None of this has been paid.
So please apologize your rude comment. I only said the truth. Rob gets paid and rest of us do voluntarily.

No, I don't get paid Vahtis.   I've been working on biblepay on a net loss since we started - you are the one that needs to apologize to both of us.

If you had any work that you feel you should have been compensated for you should be entering proposals.

So you do not get any BBP for monthly budget to your self?

I charged $14,000 for payroll over 2 years, and paid $50,000 at the end of 2017 to get us on the first exchange.  Then I forgave the debt and ate it.

Other things have happened also, but this is a good enough example to show that Ive given everything to keep BBP running, and all my time.  Yes, Im confident the dev reimbursements will be real payroll someday for us, but the point is you can enter IT proposals yourself for pushes.  I dont charge for testnet hours either, like you.

Sorry to hear that you have lost. I am not responsible for that and after all you have been paid so my statement that you are the one getting paid is true and therefore I have no reason to apologize.

So naming people and promoting oneself over others is your christian way to do things.
I can see from to code that you are good developer, but man you are lacking social skills badly. I do not want to fork new dash or biblepay. I want to support biblepay. I am from free country and all of must have rights to opinion. They are often conflicting, but this does not give You or anyone else rights to name people bad.

If you continue to post in such a disrespectful way, your Bitcointalk access for this forum will be banned.

How am I being disrespectful? Please show a little more humility. Were you expecting adulation and praise after three mandatories in the span of a few weeks? You owe every investor an apology for releasing wallet versions that required constant upgrades and/or kept crashing for random reasons. I've done my fair share to support BiblePay so I'm entitled to criticize as well.
+1000  Wink
I do not find sunk818 post disrespectful at all. We early adopters are been having just a nightmare since PoG launched. One needs to constantly keep eye on wallet if it is running and not crashed for some unknown reason. We have to had change config files to be able to tithe and do PODC at the same. This has not been smooth ride at all. We are still seeing lot of strange automatic tithes which get rejected by network and loosing bbp this way.
Rob you need to understand and some of us have other things in life too. For example I went for a six day vacation and during that time period there was four releases. This feels like we are doing testing in production.

DOGE is being delisted on c-cex;  you may want to sell it or withdraw it.

Wow that's surprising...

I think they will delist everything as there is no volume.
im talked with owner of ccex on skype,bbp will be delisting too  Cry

Hope they will correct issues from forks first. I am missing some BBP

When this is resolved could you please tell us everything is OK there?

I don't want anyone here to be misled into thinking anything negative about c-cex based on these inaccurate posts from Slavino.

Yes I will announce it here if I remember.
Problem is that I deposit and withdraw during forks. I have created ticket with transactions ids. Unfortunately some of them are not on correct chain Sad

Update

My support ticket got response. I was able to withdraw one pending withdrawal.
All deposited and withdrawn BBP during forks are missing still.

Good progress. My withdrawal has been credited back to my account.

Only one of my deposits still missing. Luckily is quite small.
