I received this email but I did not notice in the first place the URL for accepting was strange. So I clicked it.
The strange thing for me was that is asked for my 2 FA reset key.... That is wat alarmed me.

What is changing and when?

Why are we updating our terms?

Key changes
•   Improved clarity and transparency. We've split our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy into two separate documents to make them easier to read. We removed a lot of unnecessary text and made the terms better reflect the services we provide. Our Privacy Policy is, essentially, completely re-written and contains detailed information on how we take care of your personal data.
•   Trading, advertising, and disputes. Our Terms of Service now includes comprehensive information on trading, advertisements, and the trade dispute process.
•   Collection, storage, and processing of personal data. Our Privacy Policy has been rewritten, we explain what personal data we gather, how and why we process it, who we share it with, account deletion, and our data retention policy.
•   You must be 16 or older. The new terms require you to be at least 16 years old to use our services.
•   We ask for your consent. From the 25th of May onwards, we will ask for your explicit consent to our updated Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.
We've written a companion page that goes with this email to explain the changes in more detail.
On the 25 of May 2018 the new Terms of Service and Privacy Policy will come into effect and from that day we will ask for your acceptance of the new terms.

I used bitcoin core for a while, it was a pain in the ....

Electrum was a breeze, just did what it was supposed to do.

Use Electrum instead of bitcoin core is the best advise I can give.

It means that you tokenize the shares in your company. And then you cal sell the tokens.

There must be ways to do similar tokens with other platforms like ethereum, waves, ardor, etc

 I think electrum will do the trick. If you just import only 1 private/public key in the wallet it will use the same return address because it has no choice.

In the case of zero outgoing transactions from a Lisk account, the network only knows the Lisk address of an account, not its public key. This way in extremely rare instances, address collision is possible.

Therefore, it’s important to broadcast the correct public key to the network for any given Lisk address. This can be done by simply sending at least one transaction from a Lisk account.

The reason is; during the process of conducting one transaction from your account you have to use the passphrase, from which the private key and then the public key are derived. During that process the public key is also permanently cemented into the Lisk blockchain and associated with your Lisk address. This way even if a collision happens the network detects non-matching public keys, because a different private key will also lead to a different public key, and will refuse any outgoing transactions.

And this is exactly what happened to me.

Last week I found out that a lisk address that I had was emptied.

I found out that is was caused by NOT having an outgoing transaction.

I am  sure this happened to me. I still can login to the Lisk address and the thief left some marginal funds in there that I tried to send out.

But when I do that the lisk nano wallet complains it cannot send out the funds with the error message:
Invalid sender public key

Looking with the LISK blockchain explorer I can see at least 4 of these type of thefts:
https://explorer.lisk.io/address/762745598824670449L is the address of the hacker

If you look into the adresses that have send LISK to the hacker address you will see that all 4 funders there was no outgoing transaction before the hacker stole the funds.

Only one of the adresses is mine. The other 3 are from people I don't know.


My LISK was hacked around beginning of december. The security blog that I mentioned was written on 21 dec 2017.....

This was orchestrated very well!
