In this post I will try to explain how the voting will take place.

Up to 20 sports events (inclusive) are selected daily from top-priority tournaments and teams. A voting process is conducted for each selected event.

Voting takes place in two stages:

First stage: Participants vote for the Prediction Market.

The following Predict Markets exist:

  • Win1 | Draw | Win2 – Home Win, Draw, or Away Win.
  • Total – The total number of goals (points, pucks, games) scored in a match.
  • Team1 Total – Individual total for the Home team – the number of goals (points, pucks, games) scored by the home team.
  • Team2 Total – Individual total for the Away team – the number of goals (points, pucks, games) scored by the away team.
  • Corners. Total – The total number of corner kicks in a match (football matches only).
  • Corners. Team1 Total – Individual total for the Home team – the number of corner kicks taken by the home team.
  • Corners. Team2 Total – Individual total for the Away team – the number of corner kicks taken by the away team.
  • Offside Total – The total number of offsides in a match (football matches only).
  • Yellow Cards. Total – The total number of yellow cards in a match (football matches only).

Second stage: Participants predict the match outcome based on the selected Prediction Market.

As a result of the first-stage voting, the Prediction Market with the highest number of votes is selected. If multiple options receive the same highest number of votes, the market listed higher in the poll is chosen.

In the second stage, participants predict the match outcome according to the previously selected Prediction Market.

Example: If at the first stage of voting (for any match), the majority of votes chose Predict Market: Win1 | Draw | Win2, then at the second stage of voting for this match there will be the following options:

  • Win1
  • Draw
  • Win2

Based on the results of the second-stage voting, quotations are formed for the event voted on by the participants.

Quotations determine the rating growth of the "match pool." The growth can be positive or negative and is expressed as a percentage relative to the current rating of the "match pool" in which the event is included.

Each stage of voting is allocated approximately 10 hours of time so that the maximum number of participants can vote.

After the second-stage voting is completed, the rated events are automatically and randomly distributed among the "match pools."

Information about the event is published in Sports Events Club. Pools.

All registered Community members in the Telegram group can vote for each event unless restricted by other Community Rules or group rules. Each participant may only vote once per match.

I dont like using telegram for things like this because cheaters can easily make multiple telegram accounts and abuse system.
Idea for voting is not bad but it is better to have dedicated website or use something for voting in bitcointalk forum, just dont allow newbie and inactive accounts to vote.

I have already answered these questions in the two posts above.
I will just say briefly - ACCESS TO THE TELEGRAM GROUP WHERE THE VOTING WILL TAKE PLACE IS OPEN TO EVERYONE, ONLY AT THE INITIAL STAGE. In the future, access to the group will be limited.

Interesting concept op. This reminds me of parimutuel betting where users pool funds and bet against each other without the bookmaker setting the odds similar to what betting exchanges do.

n fact, the proposed model can be viewed from different perspectives or angles. But if we talk about the core idea behind it, it's about creating an asset whose value is shaped by the outcomes of sports events. In this case, that asset can be an NFT - although technically, the NFT serves as a ticket to the Match Pools.

On the other hand, Match Pools can, to some extent, be compared to Bitcoin mining pools. You can also join our pools and "mine" tokens. 😉

This is interesting but being focused on telegram exclusively sounds more like a restriction and point of failure sooner or later.
Just recently Telegram blocked all political/social channels from the middle east for the rest of the world.

Who's to say they won't crack down on gambling soon too?
A website is harder to block and also easier to use and understand for most people, also offering more versatility.

Thank you for your thoughtful comment — you raise an important and absolutely valid concern.

You're right that relying solely on Telegram can be seen as both a limitation and a potential point of failure. We chose Telegram primarily for the launch phase, since it's fast, easy to use, and already offers all the features we need: voting, discussion, and information distribution.
Telegram is just the first layer of interaction, not the final one.

Hm. The thought I have are put on the community voting: is there a formula for it? And again, what would stop people with an interest from flooding the gates to get the votes rolling if needed?

Thank you for your questions - they are absolutely to the point. I will try to clarify.

1. Here is the formula for calculating quotes:

Rating gain  = (C - 1/P) * V
Where:
- V = Volatility factor -
-  C = Number of possible outcomes(in match)
- P = Probability of the outcome (percentage of votes for the outcome).

Note: the rating gain is expressed as a percentage of the current rating, and can be either a positive or negative value.

2. As for vote manipulation:

First of all, access to the Telegram group is open to everyone only at the initial stage — we need to gather the first participants to vote and engage with the system. Later, access to the group will be restricted.

Second, all matches are distributed randomly across Match Pools after the voting phase. No one knows which pool a particular match will be assigned to in advance.

Third, most categories of participants are actually interested in Match Pool ratings increasing. For example, group members can earn reputation points and qualify for additional rewards. The total amount of these rewards is calculated as a percentage of the combined ratings of all pools. This means it’s in the group's interest to see all Match Pools grow in rating as much as possible.

Fourth, Sports Events Club is a community-driven system where members are free to interact and collaborate (within the established rules, of course) however they see fit. There is a good amount of flexibility for community-led decisions.

[No Bookmaker] Sports Events Club - Alternative Betting System with Rewards

Sports Events Club is a new format in sports-related activities where users earn rewards for participating in the community. The size of the reward directly depends on the outcomes of real sports events and the collective predictions made by the community members, which are used to form quotations for each event.

To be eligible for rewards, users can join a Match Pools.

What is a Match Pool

A Match Pool is an informational resource that contains data about sports events (matches) included in the pool — in particular, the schedule of events and the odds. Each Match Pool has several characteristics, the key one being its rating.

The Match Pool rating is formed exclusively based on the results of sports events. If the outcome is successful, the rating increases by a predetermined percentage. Otherwise, it decreases by a predetermined percentage.

Each month, based on the current rating, participants of a Match Pool receive rewards in Rating Points (RP), where Reward = Rating at the time of payout.

There are 20 Match Pools in total, each represented by an NFT. To join a Match Pool, you just need to buy that pool’s NFT. Each NFT exists in 100 copies, and each copy is a share in the Match Pool. NFTs can be bought or sold exclusively among community members on the secondary market.

Unlike traditional betting, where the odds are set by the bookmaker, in Sports Events Club odds are determined by the community members through voting. The odds are expressed as a percentage based on the current rating for each Match Pool individually.

How does it work?

Every day — up to 20 new sports events become available for voting.

Voting takes place in the Telegram group. Based on the results, odds are formed, and the events are randomly distributed among the Match Pools.

Know sports well? You can join the group, post predictions, and vote. Every vote affects the odds and future rewards. Additionally, members can publish predictions and earn reputation, which also translates into bonus rewards.

After the event concludes, the results are used to recalculate the rating of each pool.

Information about each pool, including schedules and match results, is published in our Telegram channel, Sports Events Club. Pools.

Interaction examples:

Think today’s event in a specific pool will end positively and the rating will go up? Join that pool by buying its NFT.

Already in a pool but your prediction is negative? Try to sell the NFT on the secondary market.

Want to profit without waiting for payouts? Speculate on NFTs: when a pool's rating is high, the demand for its NFTs may increase, and vice versa.

Prefer the long game? Just hold the NFT and receive rewards at the end of the month.

All NFTs are traded exclusively between community members on the secondary market (excluding the initial sale and distribution).

All rewards are paid in RP tokens, which you can hold or exchange. RP is backed by royalties from secondary sales.

The launch is scheduled for August. But even now, you can join any Match Pool.

Join the Telegram group, take part in predictions, and become part of an alternative system for sports betting — with no risk and fair reward distribution.

Match Pools.

Partner Pool.

Partner Pool.

Friends, Sports Events Club is ready for launch!

The official launch of the project is scheduled for August 7, 2025 — that’s already next month. On this day, voting on sports events scheduled for August 9, 2025 will begin.
Just a reminder: all sports event predictions and voting will take place daily in our Telegram group.

At the initial stage, access to the group is open to all participants.

Members who join the group will be able to participate in the voting, as well as publish their own sports predictions and related content.

By publishing predictions and analysis for sports events, members can earn reputation from others through reactions to their messages. This reputation is converted into rewards on a monthly basis.

Match Pools
As matches take place, the ratings of each pool will change based on the outcomes of those events.

To join a Match Pool and become eligible for rewards, users need to purchase an NFT associated with that pool.

At the initial stage, all NFTs will be available at a fixed minimum price of 1 POL per copy on our marketplace.
In the future, the price of each NFT will depend on the rating of its pool, and therefore on the match results related to that pool.
The more successful the match outcomes for a given pool, the higher its rating - and the more valuable its NFTs will become.

Partner Pool
If you have friends, followers, or an audience you can tell about our community - or if you’re planning to trade NFTs from our collection - you might benefit from joining our Partner Pool and earning additional rewards.

Keep in mind that Partner Pool rewards are directly tied to royalties from secondary sales of any NFTs from our collection.
The higher the royalties, the greater the rewards for Partner Pool members.

No, I have not yet participated in such a forecaster community. I would be interested in analyzing sports events, publishing forecasts, reading other people's forecasts, participating in forecaster ratings, working on mistakes, improving my forecasts. I think this is a very promising topic. If you do this regularly, you can greatly improve the results of your forecasts. Of course, these should be detailed analytical reports; this is the format that, in my opinion, will allow you to improve most quickly. It is very important to understand what characteristics you need to pay attention to in order to make correct forecasts. By the way, if the number of such forecasts is very large, then it is logical to involve artificial intelligence for data processing. This will allow you to create truly useful analytics. And in the future, as the skill of predicting the outcome of sports events grows, you can already make money on this analytics by making real bets on sports events.

It's great that you're interested in the topic of forecasts. Tell me, do you have a preferred sport that you could give forecasts for?

Topic update after a short break.
So, friends, from a technical standpoint, the prediction community project is almost ready to launch. However, it's critically important that we gather the first participants so that we can start holding the voting sessions — collective predictions.

I did a bit of research on this forum and found that there are quite a few users here who are interested in sports predictions and betting.
If you're curious to learn more about the prediction community, feel free to ask your questions in this thread — I’ll do my best to answer anything you’d like to know.

For sure. I mean if there are some kind of prizes for predicting then it would be more fun. Because if you are talking about just predictions and analysis, there are countless websites that provide in-depth analysis of every major sporting event. So it would be more worth if there was some kind of competition among the community where the person who gets most predictions right gets rewarded in some way.

Predictions are just a part of a larger mechanism in the Community I mentioned. And of course there will be rewards and more.

Here is a thread where we can discuss and delve into the mechanics of Community forecasts in more detail:

Although, of course, there are a number of ethical restrictions, a number of questions and problems.

What ethical issues are you talking about?

But perhaps you will share free forecasts with each other within a certain club just to improve your forecasting skills? It can be fun, but human activity is such that it gravitates towards earning. And a professional in any business will strive to use his high-quality skills to earn money.

The predictor community I mentioned earlier is somewhat of a new take on sports betting.
Participants evaluate the teams' chances in matches through forecasts and voting; these chances, depending on the final result of this match, will influence the ratings and rewards for the participants.

There's nothing wrong with this but in a community filled with different predictions it might end up getting me confused, this is the reason why I'd rather analyze my bets myself and stick to my own ideas but if it's only about discussing and sharing ideas on matches that wouldn't be a bad idea. But in the aspect of predictions like I said, it's going to make my decision making very complicated, I've experienced this before

This is not a set of predicts, but one collective predict that we receive as a result of the voting. These predictions are not for betting, they affect the rewards of the participants of the Match Pools

Re: Participation in sports predicts

When betting on sports, I study past performance as well as current performance. My analysis and predictions give positive results in almost some cases. When it comes to losing our money, it is better to bet on the team that has a higher chance of winning than on the team that has a lower chance of winning. When betting I am enthusiastic about betting on the team I like, but if the opposing team is stronger than my favorite team, I am on the side of the opposing team because I do not give importance to emotions to win and I base my strategy on reality.

Your approach to betting looks completely amateurish. Of course, if you're placing bets just for fun and not with the goal of winning or making a profit, then it doesn't really matter how or what you bet on. But if you want to make a profit in the long term, then your strategy of betting on favorites or your favorite teams is a dead end.

Usually, the odds for favorites are heavily inflated, and the payouts (odds) are significantly reduced. That means you’ll earn less profit even when you win.

If you constantly bet on your favorite team, it's almost the same as betting randomly. In such a case, the bookmaker's margin will eventually eat up your bankroll — it doesn't matter whether you're betting 1% of your bank or the entire 100%.

The more you have the more results you will have, but I don't know how accurate the people will be. Would it make a difference if you had experienced gamblers vs newbies? What results are you looking to achieve?

There is actually no definitive answer to your question. It depends on the needs of each individual community member as well as the collective interests of all participants. Predictions influence the ratings, and consequently, the rewards distributed to participants. In turn, members of the community can be grouped into different categories.

For example, if you are simply a predictor and not a participant in any Match Pool (i.e., you don’t own any NFTs), then you'll likely need not only to vote on matches but also to publish well-argued forecasts in order to earn reputation. This can help you reach the top of the predictor rankings and become eligible for rewards. In this case, it’s in your best interest for as many matches as possible to end with the outcome that the majority of the group voted for — i.e., successful results.

Another scenario: if you are a participant in Match Pool #10, then your goal is for the matches within your Match Pool to end successfully (with the outcome voted by the majority). Everything else is irrelevant to you. In this case, it’s not even necessary for you to participate in voting or predictions outside of that pool.

A third scenario: you want to join a particular Match Pool, so you’re looking to buy an NFT for that pool. In this case, it might benefit you if the match outcomes for that pool have been unsuccessful, because when results go poorly (i.e., opposite to the group vote), the pool’s rating goes down — and so does the price of its NFT, making it cheaper for you to join.

There are many different possibilities here, and participants can create their own strategies based on their needs and expectations.

When you say predict, do you mean like casually predicting the outcome of a match without actually betting on the same match?

If this is actually what you meant, then I would say yes, I usually do on my own predict the possible outcome is a match without placing any bets, I sometimes get this prediction correct while other times, I get it wrong and this is normal with betting as well.

And about participating in a predictors community, I honestly do not know what this is or mean but I guess is cool, where is this community and does it offer any reward for correct predictions?

This is something more than just sports predictions. Acting as predictors, participants vote on specific matches, thereby estimating the odds. This is essentially a collective prediction and, at the same time, an assessment of probabilities. These odds are then converted into rating growth for so-called “Match Pools,” which are formed from events after the voting.

Each individual Match Pool is a sequence of events, and it has its own rating, which is periodically converted into rewards for the participants of that particular Match Pool.

Example:
Participants are asked to vote on the match: Real Madrid vs Barcelona.
Let’s assume the voting results are as follows:

  • Real Madrid wins – 40% of the votes[\li]
    • Draw – 25% of the votes[\li]
      • Barcelona wins – 35% of the votes

After the voting, the odds are converted into rating changes for the Match Pool that includes this match.

      • If Real Madrid wins – the Match Pool rating increases by +2.5%[\li]
        • If it’s a draw – the Match Pool rating decreases by -5%[\li]
          • If Barcelona wins – the Match Pool rating increases by +0.75%

The Match Pool rating determines the rewards for its participants. You can read more about this in the announcement thread.

In addition to voting and defining odds, predictors can publish their own forecasts and analyses, earning a reputation within the group and the broader community.

Would you like to participate in the predictors community?

What is the purpose of the prediction community? Just making a match analysis to be published?
I don't have any thoughts on such things, I just make or make predictions for my own bets. Sometimes, sharing experiences and predictions with friends can also be done. But more of them will rely on their own predictions to make bets.

The overall idea behind the community I’m talking about is to combine crypto-assets with sports events. In other words, to create an asset whose value depends on sports events — more precisely, on their outcomes. This is implemented through a system of ratings and rewards.
I won’t go into the full mechanism here, as it goes a bit beyond the scope of this discussion. Instead, I’ll try to explain only the part that relates directly to sports events and predictions.

The community (in the context of predictions) is like a mini-forum on Telegram, where users can, in addition to making predictions and participating in voting, also discuss sports events and the crypto industry.

Every day, the group receives up to 20 popular events from four types of sports: football, basketball, hockey, and tennis. Participants are invited to vote on each of these events (through polls), thereby determining the odds for each outcome. In essence, they are doing what a bookmaker does — but for a single prediction market. These odds are later converted into rating increases and rewards for the participants.

In addition to voting, users can also publish their own predictions and analysis for these events, building their reputation and authority within the community. Later on, for example, less experienced members may follow and vote in line with such reputable analysts. Participants with high reputations may also be eligible for additional rewards.

This is a brief overview of the community, focusing only on the prediction-related aspect. To understand the full concept, you can check out the announcement thread here.

Hello everyone!

I want to do a little research and understand if there are users here who participate or would like to participate in sports predicts. Tell us about your experience of predicts (not bets), do you make only dry predicts or maybe justify your choice or maybe write analytics for matches.

Would you like to participate in the predictors community?

I'm sure there are people who professionally do predictions and who are dedicated to sports and sports betting and have a very high win rate, but such people probably don't want to share their predictions for free unless they will somehow be rewarded.
No one wants to participate in a community if they won't be rewarded in some way.
No one will participate in a predictors community and waste their time.So I believe that any serious predictors' community should offer some kind of reward or incentive for participation.

What do you mean by dry predictions? you mean outright predictions without analysis? I do that and also I do with the analysis part for the matches that I am interested to bet with.

By the definition of "dry predicts" I mean a pure predicts without analysis or reasoned commentary on this predicts.
