I'm a veteran user.

Just couldn't find out, are there some minimum deposits/withdraws/transfer for fun tokens between freebitco account and that Dplay casino or whatever the fun token casino was?

If there were any limits we would obviously put them on the page.

Thx for quick reply and info.

So you could in theory deposit 1 FUN from your (unlocked) freebitco holdings and start to gamble big time, if I got it right. Tongue Yeah I know, you need much more to begin with.

Re: Will Dogecoin survive without Elon Musk?
by

Couple of years ago, around 2018, I researched a bit deeper about dogecoin. I came to conclusion, that it is like dormant: development dead, a dying thing.

Now quite recently I stumbled across news, that dogecoin has been actively developed again. There is the US company called "Dogelabs" (New York City and Tulsa, Oklahoma) discovering, creating, and implementing “real-life” uses for the Doge Protocol. A layer bridge between doge and ethereum is coming, and so on.

So obviously dogecoin has a chance to survive also without mr. Musk, although he can and had already given huge boost.

Re: What Is Bitcoin Trading and Why It's risky?

Every kind of trading is risky. Bitcoin has a very small market cap, so fluctuations are frequent. Bitcoin is often considered one of the most attractive currency for trading, due to high volatility. But there can be a risk of scams and fraud. So choose wisely.

Market capitalization of Bitcoin is nearly USD 20 billion (USD20.000.000.000, source: coinmarketcap.com) as of now. That is not VERY SMALL!

Highly volatile and risky yes, that's why exciting for risktakers. Though its volatility is kind of decreasing IMHO as the market grows. Scams, fraud and crime are not unknown also with FIAT currencies.  Shocked

Re: Big wins at FreeBitco.in

OP, did you provide them with a template for the reporting of their winnings? I hope you have also linked the Lotto winners to this thread,

because most of the nagging seems to be about the Lotto and not from the faucet side. I think it is a great idea and it is also beneficial for the

forum to get new users to join this forum.  Wink

Some people nag about the faucet. Including me, I'd like to have more transparency on the winning probabibility. The 00000 to 10000 'one armed bandit pull' presentation seems like a front for a lotto game with astronomically low chances for the higher prizes. I'm very curious to see the probability for each tier.

Well, just click on the "Multiply BTC" option at the top and then scroll down to "Roll History" and you will see both the faucet payout and your

gambling bets, which can be individually verified. {click on VER in the last column to the right}

The only thing that cannot be verified are the Lottery at this moment, but Wetsuit already offered a bounty to the person that can develop a

system that would make it provably fair.   Wink

I want to know the probability. How many people win the main prize? 1 in 10,000? That can't be, it would ruin the site owner to give away 200 dollars for every 10,000 tries. 1 in 100,000? 1 in a million? 1 in a billion? 1 in a trillion? Just give us the numbers, you're like a bank now as you are paying interest, you should be more transparent and not fool people with shady casino games.

Until now I have thought, that it is fair and square 1 out of 10 000 probability for free rolls to win USD200. But then with more than 4,3 million users (lot less active users of course, still should be at least tens of thousands daily active) there should be several USD200 hits + lower wins DAILY.

Let's say cautious 20 000 users × 2 rolls daily = 40 000 free rolls daily, that makes 40 000/10 000 = 4 × USD200 wins cautious daily average. It could be even much more as you can imagine. Plus lower USD twenty, two and so on wins.

Hard to believe, that operator could survive that. Comments welcome.

I see the payout amount is different for everyone?

I am getting 177 satoshi per hour for example, I started early with 196 like a week ago. Why is it dropping constantly?

Obviously you are able to read some, but understanding it all, well, not that well?  Roll Eyes

Payout depends on US dollar vs. BTC exchange rate!!!  Shocked

FAQ from there:
*quote* Why does the amount of Bitcoins that you can win, keep changing?

The amount of bitcoins that you can win with FREE BTC depends on the current bitcoin price and the biggest prize is fixed at US$200 and the other prizes in proportion to it. So, when the price of a bitcoin goes down, the reward amount calculated in bitcoins goes up and the other way round is also true. So, regardless of the current bitcoin price, you have a fair chance of winning US$200 in bitcoins on each roll.
*quote end*

This should be rather simple to understand.

You bet that bitcoin trading is risky. No one guarantees its value. Only ask and demand does the value. Plus it is new thing, bitcoin users are also sort of labrats.

What if regulators in some main market forbid bitcoin? What if some clearly better alternative shows up? Because one day such thing will most possibly come. What if some hacker does it even worse than with bitfinex? You see, the value could still drop dramatically. Although not likely now or next week, it is always possible. What if some lousy hacker steals your bitcoins too? You can lose all.

So, like gambling, you don't want to invest in bitcoin more than you can afford to lose. With this you have peace in mind, whatever happens.

I would be very careful downloading a .rar from an unknown source. Extracting could deliver a nasty payload to your computer. A legitimate instructional course could have been put up on a website. These exploits tend to occur later at nite on weekends when the forum is slow.

I completely agree. You don't want to download such files from an unknown source.

That's right, but I'm really concerned as of how they managed to get so many users in so small time..
It's not like they offer something many other faucets out there don't offer, and their cashout is more than 3x of most "direct payment" faucets

Well, yeah.. they've got high top prizes - but who's checking if they actually give what they say?

Such a sudden rise from zero to massively visited site is very unusual and unnatural. Google will punish them for that. Hardly any other ways than wicked for such a success. Very high ad price. Plenty of odd and suspicious around there.

I don't know about Indonesian language; but, i know the italian language word comes from the Latin Gratiis, ablative plural of the noun Gratia. It means "for the favor, thanks to goodwill" and by extension "for free".

Yep, "gratis" means in many European languages "for free, costless". Gratia, gratii, yes sir, many international words come from Latin. Italian "grazia" (=thanks) must obviously have this same origin too?

Thanks for this very nice faucet too.

yeah and you take about 500-600 satoshis per hour, that's the same as freebitco.ins faucets, 500 per hour. Try out http://btc25.net/, they give out pretty high for a faucet.

Okay, fine. Only how much have u withdrawn from btc25.net?

Because there is something suspicious around it:

Re: Is it worth it?

I know one. http://btc25.net/ (ref) pays at least 525 satoshi every 25 min.
And you have chance to win more (up to $25). I won 0.00009898 BTC 7 times in the last 5 days.

How much have u got out of it then? Some say btc25.net is suspicious, because as a newbie it has way too massive traffic. And it has a hyper expensive advertising option too. Something odd there. Its withdraw rules are also odd.

Wouldn't touch it, before there are clear proofs of payment. Although even then nothing is guaranteed. New sites (supposing this is new) are always riskier.

Yea, site looks nice and dandy. Only it doesn't work. At least on my Ubuntu desktop. For every "confirm" I get: "you already saw this" or some crap like that. Surely didn't "saw" them, I just started.

Now it worked, all right. And got earnings on my microwallet too. Thanks a lot.

Still why didn't it work right away?
