32 BEs loaded in 4 10 USB port hubs. 14 stock BE, the rest are overclocked to 448MH/s
 Wink

are they hardware overclocked or software overclocked? do you have a link to how you did it?

I may have missed a step, but I think that you can't soft overclock them.
I'm going to agree with this based on what I read and heard. As far as I know you can only overclock them by changing stuff in the hardware.

Yep, you have to replace crystal ocillators and such. way above my level

Re-organized a bank of 83 Erupter USB's (~28GH/s) yesterday.

Also learned that USB 3.0 allows for much less devices than USB 2.0, so had to host the USB 3.0 hubs off the D-Link USB 2.0 hubs to get the devices to properly be recognized by the system.

That must have cost so much!!!!

Impressive though Smiley

When the monarchs are close, there will be a new product announced and you will be encouraged to transfer your order for a "restocking fee" of 10%. This of course for a product that only exists on paper.
In the past, every product BFL has announced, they have delivered. It takes near forever, but they have delivered. What historical evidence do you present that proves that they are in the habit of making up fake devices just to make money? AKA: stfu.

This isn't the thread for BFL hating, esp after a picture of a guy with 40 SC Singles.

I didn`t say they don`t exist. I said they exist on paper, because its only the plans for the devices that exist not a prototype etc. I`m not hating on BFL.  I`m telling it like it is.  Plus, telling me to STFU is not going to work since i`m on the other side of a computer screen.

Re: Scams on Localbitcoins

A guy did me up proper on LBC, we made the trade, he was very pushy etc.  Turns out he was using "third party" bank accounts to pay me.  So I blocked him, and left feedback and also reported him to LBC.  He then threatened me. then a few days later I get a call from my bank saying that a fraudulent payment had been notified to them.  I sent the receipt details to the bank individual and they confirmed I can keep the money (legitimate payment) but because it was BTC I was trading in, they threatened to close my account.

I guess thats what the guy threatened me with.

My stupid fault, but I havent really lost any money as a result which I was lucky with to be honest. Still, what a pushy person he was.

Also UK based-  I have had a conversation with a member of staff at Nationwide Building Society (who went and checked their terms etc) and I was advised as long as the money in the accounts comes from legal sources, there is no restriction on receiving funds for the sale or using funds to buy Crypto Currencies at all.

I started trading BTC via LBC on Sunday.  Today I have been told by my Bank HSBC (UK), that in no uncertain terms they do not wish to be associated at all with bitcoin, even if this is the money related to the sale of it.   The fraud team advised the lady at my local branch, unless I ceased my "activities" they will forcibly close my account.

This after someone (nefariously in my opinion- i had released the BTC to them) reported a trade as fraud.

Crazy, knee jerk reaction is crazy.  My 24 years with them means absolutely jack.  In the process of moving to Fidor.

I think this is mandatory! You mean that btcjam does not chase the defaulter in any way? It passes it along to investors?

Correct - and most users walk away rather than go to court for what is (usually) a small amount.  BTCJam doesn't care - they get their cut up front.

In Canada, it's actually very easy to collect on a debt certificate.  Just simply file it in court and you get your money - the defendant has no chance to provide a defense because he/she has already lost.

I started up a website called coindebt.ca and even then I couldn't find enough interested people to make it work.

That's why you always need collateral.

Of course, by its very nature; BTCJAM is global meaning that jurisdictional and legal difference between countries makes collection of debt incredibly difficult, not to mention costly.

As said before, BTCJAM is an awesome idea but unfortunately it is a scam magnet.

I have invested in some loans on this site.  Only 1 of these has paid in full or kept up to their payment schedule.  One of these had many repaid loans , so that is not garantee that the person is going to pay back.  When someone does default, you either take then to court yourself or lose your investment as far as I can see.

I also invest in a site called funding circle which, when someone defaults, has a part of their organisation which chases debt on the lenders behalf.  I have never had a problem with the latter.

I would love to invest in people via BTCJAM again, but as there is no comeback on people who do not pay....I can`t see its recommended.

Of course, if you do your due diligence, (as I clearly failed to do) then investing isn`t a good idea anywhere.

I notice recently many customer want to sell s5, so i provide a buy back option now at the price of 350$, let me know if you want to use this option, this price has included the pre-paid host fee to 20th Sep.
The price will be kept for 3 days, then i will be adjusted according to how much i can sell the miner on china used miner market.
I donot want customer's miner suddenly become worthless like many customer who have s2 miner in hashnest plat currently experienced.., so let me know if you want use this option.

How to process: if anyone want to use this option, you need do the following things

1:make sure you have paid the host fee to 20th Sep
2:send me a PM and list how much unit you want to sell back to me
3:list your btc address to receive money, the price is 350$ for each unit s5

I will send btc directly according to real time exchange ratio on 5th sep to all the customer who want to use this option, then switch the miner to me.

Li,

Any update on this?

Thanks

Thank you for the information everyone.  At the moment I am using a +4096 difficulty on the end of my BTC address.  Is this a good idea or should I perhaps try the /1 as suggested?  Would there be a huge difference?

my payouts were a solid .03 to .086 per block,  now dropped to .006?  exactly same hashrate. Colour me confused....

did you stop hashing or continuously ?

Not that I know of...
