Hello everyone. I have been sick in bed for the last day, i will be catching up today.

Welcome back Snazzy.

What's next on the development schedule?

Good morning all,

Currently we are looking for a Developer to implement features into the wallet. I have sent Nite69 a PM being he is the guy who was doing the current Voot wallet but have not received a response. I will also be making a new thread today under a VootCoin account so the thread can be modded and a new thread will never be needed again! I will post the link from the new account.

Doing great work keep it up!

** OFFICIAL UPDATE **

I have just received the 5 BTC from MsCollec that SMOKE returned.

What will this be used for?

This BTC is going to be used for implementations of future features in VOOT, Buy Support, and will attract new investors.

VootCoin Dedicated Multipool

Currently 2 BTC has been sent to Axed Code for development of the VootCoin Dedicated Multipool.

When will the Multipool be finished?

The VootCoin Dedicated Multipool will take 2-3 weeks to be completed. This is an ETA directly from Axed, this does not mean there is any sort or due date, or finish by date. Of course if completed early it will be ninja launched after testing!

What about future VOOT funds?

At this time we are expecting another 5 BTC payment pending when SMOKE sends it to MsCollec. I will keep you updated as always Smiley

Added to this OP

I like the foundation you guys are doing a great job keep it up.

I'm in agreement with gullu. As a bagholder his coins became worth less and for longer, unless others have part of a decentralized market and most of a pool coded, or other notable features. I am stepping down because he convinced me I am not fit, and nothing positive has been said by anyone about my efforts to help this coin with absolutely nothing to gain for myself. As a security analyst/software engineer, I have other projects. This was just a volunteer hobby. Clearly I am only good at real work with real clients. Good luck VOOT.

This one person does not reflect the community. The coin wants and needs your help .

I have no coins to sell off. I organized VOOT Foundation into existence because of my love for crypto and this is one of few coins that can pull off a comeback. I have nothing to gain. I am a programmer by day, and a programmer by night, with ~20 years of experience dedicating a lot of time and effort to this. At the moment we have some new surprises being developed, such as a multi-algo profit-switching pool paying out in VOOT, but not limited to just that. This will all take time. The last pool I worked on took 2 months but I know I can reuse a lot of the 15k lines of code to create something faster for VOOT. We also have many more secrets being worked on. Stay tuned, and stay patient. None of this is FUD - we are hard at work.

Edit: and if you look again, this is the only thread I've been posting in lately. Sorry if it's not often - day job and coding for VOOT is taxing.
Edit again: We are looking for one more person to join the team that is proficient with wallets for a feature we'd like to implement, but all of our coders are tied up with other tasks at the moment. Apply within or via PM to me.

Is the vootmarket still in the pipeline? What does the voot Foundation think about creating a master node like system that darkcoin has? The price increased that the  implementation of the master node did for darkcoin was impressive to say the least. The value of having a voot node system would be huge for long-term innovation , but that just my feelings.

We will definitely talk about this Smiley

That's awesome! I think as a community one of the cornerstones is the Vootmarket. I know personally that was a big part of the reason I got into Voot. I would also like to see a way for us to create a stability fund and in time pay the people that work on this coin.

For the record, they do not have to take over Vootcoin, they can easily add and improve Voot alongside with any other devs (eg. MsCollec, SMOKE team, etc.) I am sure this will ultimately be more beneficial for us if we had more devs working on new features right?

Yes having new developers added to the group would be helpful at this point. People that are active and involved with the community would be something I would like to see with the new developers.

So now we are all waiting for SMOKE to deliver the anon exchange.

I am in EST timezone, so right now as of this post it is 3:50 PM EST. Hopefully they will deliver soon.

Also, yesterday night I had a meet up with my two developer buddies. They said they're very interested in taking over an established crypto coin project and would be willing to contribute if there is a bounty involved. They are able to start as early as next Tuesday. I will be skyping with them tonight to discuss further.

Does the community want to raise a bounty for these two devs to hop on board? They are able and willing to add new features to Voot, even if SMOKE team is still working on vootmarket/vootcloud. I have a few ideas I'd like Voot to have implemented and have ran the ideas through them last night. They said it shouldn't be too difficult. These guys aren't amateurs. They know their shit. One of them has interned for both Twitter and Google.

Let me know what you guys want to have added to Voot, I will talk to them about it tonight.

Well I'm willing to donate towards that, this is very good news. I personally don't care what is implemented as long as we have more innovation and move away from the kinda of dark spot we are in now. I believe that new developers could help with regaining trust with investors.

Any idea to build a voot foundation and stability fund?

Well both should be easily for The VOOT foundation We need some of the members that own a large stake of coins as there value alines with the coin, but not all of them need to be bag holders. Once we start seeing profits from the exchange then we could start to use it to help stability the fund. I see the Voot foundation as the protector of this coin and the stability fund is it's weapon.  Cool

I've set up a meeting with my two friends (the developers) and I am going to show them what we have here and see what they can offer or contribute to the project. I have noted that there may be a "bounty" in the form of Vootcoin donations that can be rewarded to them for any time spent on future developments on Vootcoin.

This is good news and I would donate to that bounty.

I think we need to figure out an incentive for the developer or developers who are going to take over.

I have my own connections with very qualified devs who can take over the project but that will need to take some planning.
some planning? =?

I know two people who are highly qualified developers who can take over the coin very easily, I've known them for almost 6 years now and they've done some dev work for me in the past (not crypto related). I have asked them previously (about 2-3 weeks ago) about taking the plunge with crypto and they said developing for crypto should be a piece of cake of them. However, they both have full time jobs and would only be able to dedicated any spare time they have towards this project if they decide to get involved.

I can ask them about it again to see what they think and what they can offer but this is just one option. Let's see what our available options are and move on from there.

Let me know your ideas everyone!

Well two part time developers is better then no developers.

Honestly, at this point it does not seem like there is a active lead dev for Voot. MsCollec has been very inactive and the only posts he makes here are to argue with other community members which is just very pointless at this time.

The only devs working on Voot right now are the (outsourced) SMOKE devs. They still have quite a bit to work on after the anon exchange, the VootMarket most notably. However, there are no plans for any other development after that.

I have my own connections with very qualified devs who can take over the project but that will need to take some planning.

We can also elect a new dev and form a Voot Foundation if we really want to help steer this coin in the right way. I think we need a leader and not just PR. What do you guys think? Does anyone know any devs who may be interested in taking over the Voot project? Who wants to be a part of the Voot foundation and to help turn things around?

We need to work together as a community if we want to have any chances of succeeding.

There are a lot of undercover FUDsters here, people who pretend they're in the long haul with Voot but really are just waiting for the next pump to dump their coins. I can tell who is who and there are already some who have decided to show their true colours, not naming any names in particular but it's pretty obvious.

I need your honest feedback guys.

This is best post I have seen in a while to be honest. I agree we need a new developer to take this coin to where it belongs and I would be part of the Voot foundation.

I have already forwarded all questions that me and whale123 were unable to answer (simply because we are not devs and do not have any involvement with the development of Voot, anon ex, etc.) and have been waiting for an answer from the devs.

I appreciate the positive support you guys have given to us, the PR team. We are truly offering what we can at the best of our abilities. Seeing this coin doing so poorly compared to a couple weeks ago is very saddening.

agreed 100%, Jeffersonairplane does Voot have a lead developer anymore ? Or is this just the smoke team ?

BREAKING NEWS

Smoke team agreed on the suggested date of Voot Anon Exchange deadline. Note, that we are expecting NINJA LAUNCH, so the exchange can actually be launched even eariler (but probably won't be, since Smoke would like to use all the time available, to make sure it is top notch).

http://oi58.tinypic.com/2cofz3s.jpg

The deadline date will be revealed soon.
Visit OP for the escrow address if you would like to add something to the pot.
Money is on safe escrow and it will be sent to Smoke team only if they deliver, so let's think of it as of ultimate motivator.
Very excited to share the date of the deadline with you soon!

Is there an opportunity to invest in the exchange itself? if there is, this would be interesting to some of the members of the community.
