The connection issue should be resolved now, but of course let us know if you are still having trouble.
At the moment everything is running fine for me.
Just saw that there are different CLoudflare locations. Macno adressed Frankfurt.
The one I had issues with was CloudFlare Location: Amsterdam.

downtime was about 23 hrs.
timeframe about 7p.m. san francisco time.
you can see it at the panic sells on bitcoinwisdom pretty good. the first drop to 452.51 was due to the downtime.
OK, thanks for that information wendel. What happened was that some of our servers went down, but some traffic was getting routed to the down servers. So the site was down for some people, but up for others. The site didn't show up for us as being down until around 9pm. The problem probably showed up earlier for you because you were getting routed to the down servers while our monitors were still getting routed to the servers that were up. That's our guess anyway, because as I said, we didn't see any problem until around 9pm PDT.
One thing learned from the incident is that we need better load balancing across our servers (there shouldn't have been any traffic being routed to the down servers). We'll be putting that in place very soon and once it's done, we should see better response from the site overall. Inadequate load balancing may be partly to blame for the intermittent connection problems some clients like you have been reporting.

seriously, why don't you guys ever communicate any issues with your website.
I understand that it might be difficult to run a 24/7 business site.
BUT not communicating in a digital age while dealing with crypto currencies is behaving like being left in the last century.
Do you guys have a twitter account? Try it. It won't bite.
When you have maintenance then communicate it like every other page also does.
When there is downtime communicate it.
It's not that difficult. It is your responsibility as a good service provider.
Or is you site so heavily damaged that you are too afraid to say anything.
And your downtimes happen seriously often.

another connection issue I experience since a few days is that the log-in via my w-lan router sometimes works and then on other days the site isn't even accessible. Doesn't even load the cloudflare error page. (even when I use Chrome and delete all data history ...)
I just get kicked out and after this the site doesn't load one pixel.
Only when I use my mobile phone as hotspot everything seems to be running fine.
Do you have an idea what this might be?

I mentioned it a week ago already, it is not solved =/
We're sorry for the connectivity issues some of you are experiencing - we've been looking into it and it appears to be a different issue from what we saw last week. The issue doesn't have to do with your browser, but Firefox doesn't always play well with our site, so you may see better behavior by trying a different browser.
So which browser would you suggest when the two main browsers for Apple don't work properly?
Safari can't display the website. Firefox heavily lagging.
Are there any external trading software that can be used on kraken and one that you can recommend running stable on your system?

Safari does not even display the website properly.

yes the site is up and running again.
Please strongly consider informing your customers more frequently and in more detail.
We are living in a digital age and proper communication is easier than ever.
I don't feel your exchange is working very reliable atm.
All the troubles about bitcoin during the recent months don't make it look better.
You still have a good reputation. Although it's constantly declining due to the recent performance and lack of information.
Don't mess it up.

It would be very helpful if kraken starts to communicate their website issues more often, right on time and public. (put a news box on the website, twitter ... lots of possibilities)
At the moment we customers are left alone for sometimes several hours without any information on a website that is not working properly or can't even be accessed.
Those ongoing issues are getting serious. Last week we were left for 4hrs! and not even one notice from the team.
I think it's getting obvious that this is not a very good service being offered.
Sorry but I am getting a "bit" angry about this!!!

On the other hand bitcoin is now in the focus of state regulatories and more or less big investors.
This massive buying power might be to support the coin in public awareness.
If the coin would go down after all the troubles in the past weeks there won't be much confidence left.
My theory is that keeping up the coin makes it look strong even after Gox problems e.g.

You should get on tradingview.com and use more indicators. Those rudimentary bitcoinwisdom lines can be misleading, using a pitchfork with a better angle gives you a clearer picture. Currently momentum on a daily chart has a downward angle and the CMF and RSI look a bit too moonish compared to the July 2013 bottom. Also, the heiken ashi daily candles look indecisive

Stamp is now 100% connected to huobi and doesn't act independently at the moment.
So when huobi makes a move exactly the same is done on stamp.
And since huobi has smaller candle steps to move upwards it looks like stamp is slow.

I also saw this possible breakout point ahead. But I'm not sure if there will be enough power to buy up 4.5k of coins just to get past 600.
Maybe there is a chance to continue sideways in order to get out of the downtrend?

Ich arbeite seit einiger eit mit folgendem Trendkanal:
Naja "Gefuehle" haben beim Traden nix verloren. Klare Fakten und/oder Analysen die dieses "Gefuehl" untermauern waeren angebracht.

Es sieht danach aus, als würde heute der Downtrend gebrochen.
Ich habe ebenfalls das "Gefühl", dass sich hier klammheimlich nach oben gemogelt wird.
Sollte es horizontal weitergehen könnte auch morgen Mittag der Trend knapp durchbrochen sein.
